^^^ You will need to write IELTS exam to meet up for your deficiency. |

chamboy:Its a waste of time and money. Rewrite your IELTS fast. |

RedReact:is it advisable to accept the offer of the english class |
| Re: General Australian Visa Enquiries by RedReact: 6:34pm On May 13, 2015 |
^^^ You can but the embassy will not grant you the visa due to that deficiency in English; that is why you need IELTS. |

lighthouse4real:ok then, pfl is good enough, actually the best i know,i will suggest you call the pfl officer assigned to you,and if you used a form 965a,they are obliged to contact your case officer on your behalf.i believe you will feel much better about your application if you do so and it will speed things up for you. |

aduktus:. I think TAS graduate have their own SOL. Once your occupation is on the list you can qualify for post graduate visa then PR. Just go through the TAS migration. |

Hi dexterinc2003, Congrats+++ on your grant. i went through your posts and i realize you are a Medical Doctor going for MPH. Please correct me if i'm wrong but i assume the ultimate aim is to stay and practice in OZ? I'm a GP here in Nigeria too and i am thinking along the same path but i was planning to nail the AMC 1 before making my move. i would like to ask you a few questions: 1.Have you taken the AMCs or you plan on taking them when you get over there? 2.Do you think the coursework of the MPH program will leave enough time to practice if one were to get a Job while running the program? 3.Do you know of any Clinical Masters or PGD course that accepts international Students? Let me clarify this; I'm very interested in Programs like Masters in GP/Family Medicine or any branch of clinical medicine for that matter. I have googled till i'm blue in the face but all the clinical Masters i come across have one restriction or the other---most simply do not accept intakes on student visa. 4. Can one switch from being a full time to a part time student during the course of the program? Thanks and congrats once again |

weemee:Thanks... As it is, the international or nothing is the options I have. I've been moving round naija with affidavit SA says I can't use any intl licence for more than three months Bless |
| Re: General Australian Visa Enquiries by weemee: 1:21am On May 14, 2015 |
bjayzeez:However, you could use the International License to apply for Local License, though you will have to do a practical and written test with few bucks. That's my intention anyway. |

there shouldn't be a problemAge shouldn't be a barrier... I met 74 years old woman studying Fine Arts. |

IELTS-GENERAL vs. Pearson Academic | Someone personal experiences culled from British expats for the benefit of those might be interested. |

You will get a response from the embassy in pretoria, not teleperformance(ikeja). What subclass did you apply for? Are you for SVP? |

Hi lighthouse4real, Its only patience you can exhibit, there is no rushing them. They will give you your letter wen they are ready to give you and no day earlier. If you are a religious person then resort to prayers. When does school resume? That guides their decisions too. Some here submitted since March even. lighthouse4real: |

mrnilobrawn:Not sure of PTE but IELTS is 2 years. |
| Re: General Australian Visa Enquiries by dexterinc2003: 9:06am On May 14, 2015 |
ewagbamio:Thanks once again... 1.I plan writing the AMC exams, which can only be done in australia. 2.Doing a coursework, working and studying is not easy, but its achievable if you are focused. 3.different schools offer different varieties of medical-related masters courses eg masters in pharmaceutical medicine, health management, int. Public health, public health, forensic mental health, reproductive medicine etc....the choice is yours(except you where searching for what does not exist) 4.No...you cannot switch to part-time,it nullifies your visa. Hope that helped. |

Thanks NNBB2012. God bless you for sharing this with us. The post is quite long so i won't quote it. I can identify with the op. I wrote IELTS for the 3rd time on 30th April in order to get 10 points, and eagerly expecting the results today. I was evidently spurred on by Buhari's 3rd time victory. ![]() 1. L9 R7.5 S7 W6.5 2. L8.5 R8.5 S7 W6.0 3. ?I have vowed not to write IELTS again if i don't make it a third time and opt for PTE instead. |
| Re: General Australian Visa Enquiries by Nobody: 10:17am On May 14, 2015 |
scrollmeout:3rd attempt to victory huh-Buhari factor! That SA guy is a die-hard struggler. I love his determination...the exam bodies are 'smiling' at us and laughing to the bank. If that guy needed ten points from an English test he would have stopped at his first IELTS test. Those best placed are the competent level guys and the proficiency level guys are relatively better placed. You should make it. |

Thanks everyone. Wish you the best as well. The waiting is almost over in Jesus name. @ fendorf: I declared 4.2m. But My recent promotion last year showed quite a good sum of monthly pay. Don't see any reason why I have to declare all my asset. My agent said I should declare at least the amount for wify and 2 children, about 13500aud. But I intentionally added more to take care of the flight. SVP does not need to show financial statements unless you have dependents. Take care |
