Good afternoon sir's/madam's
Have been opting for medicine for quite awhile now.
All thanks to God I was able to scale through this year's jamb.
I scored 210 and I applied to study medicine in AAU.
Please I need formats, tips and materials on how to plast the post jamb exam.
All contributions will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your anticipated cooperation.
(GraceinUSA).

I've heard you. Its nice meeting someone who aspires to be a student of an anointed university aka AAU. The format is not different from that of other schools just a few exceptions.

Firstly, you must have chosen the school as your first choice in jamb. Then having scored 210, you are on the right track being that the cut off generally is 180. All you need now is to put in your very best to pass the post ume convincingly and then pray hard AND if you have anyone here that can help you run the admission, good for you.

I know AAU accepts direct entry to MBBS program but I heard you must have connections for that since they don't advertise it.

You can contact me for AAU electronic past questions in PDF format at affordable prices on WhatsApp 08071456563 or call 07034804404.

Best of luck.

Morning Drs. & aspiring Drs. How was your night? I'm an aspiring medical student of OAU. Actually, I feel the passion to study medicine & I know, by God's grace, I'm in already. Nonetheless, I have heard various things about this course. I'm not moved. I just want our "Ogaas" in the thread to shed more light on what the course is & what it means to study medicine in Nigeria. What's the least duration a medical student is expected to read for daily? I hear the reading never stops. Lol! Is it really as hard as people say it is? I would be glad if I get answers from great intellectuals like you. Thanks & God bless.
Well, first of I'm a 500 level student of AAU. Medicine in Nigeria is tough, really tough. Yes there's gonna be a lot of reading (trust me, it's no joke), but determination is key. Duration will depend on the school. It's 6 years in most federal schools(UNILORIN, UNN, NAU, OAU, UNILAG etc), it could be 6 and half in some others, then mostly 7 in state schools.
When you eventually get admitted, seek advice from seniors, pray, keep your head up, work hard. You'll be good. I hope this helps.

I would love to be of help but I have little or no knowledge of how the architecture program is run in AAU. The nairalander who would perfectly fit in for this is AbuMikey but I don't know why he's not replying to the comments on the AAU 2015 thread. Just try to contact him and make your complaints known to him, m sure he will help.

Re: The medical students and aspirants thread by Nobody: 5:23pm On May 20, 2015
Good people, how have you been? I want to appreciate Lagusta for creating this thread and the various posters for their wonderful contributions.

I am currently a 100 level student of microbiology of UNILORIN, and also a 2nd time aspirant for medicine and surgery. Is there any tips on scoring a higher pume score than the previous one, 68? And to also increase my chances of securing admission this time around?
