When I encounter European and American atheists, I'm not so shocked. But when I see African atheists, I'm amazed by their folly given the everyday manifestation of demonic and evil spirits in this part of the globe.

Y'all atheist try to look smart by talking about science and logic in the analysis of God's existence. Fine, you haven't seen God, neither have I. But didn't your science and logic tell you that for every action, there's an "equal and opposite" reaction? And if any of you dare deny you haven't encountered evil spirits and their works, or at least, you can't acknowledge their existence, you know within you that you're deceiving yourself.

That said, what is the opposite of evil spirits which Christians believe their source of power is the Devil?
We Christians refer to that being as God but he's not equal to the devil, he reigns supreme over everyone and everything, just the same way satanists believe the devil reigns supreme.

If you're are an atheist, contact me and I'll introduce you to a friend who's a spiritualist. By the time he's done with you, you'll definitely believe in God. You all just need more proof to believe and I hope you get more than enough proof soon.

In my opinion we Africans need to wean our minds off those Abrahamic fairy tales and start THINKING for ourselves.
A universal God cannot possibly be exclusive to a band of wandering Jews and their cousins. The concept of deity is universal across all the peoples of the world.
Each tribe and ethnic group have their own conception of deity which held true for them until the invaders and colonizers brought their alternatives.
Christianity and Islam will forever remain borrowed truths to Africans. Until I read about the direct dealings of their sky daddies with African chiefs and peoples...read in their ancient manuscripts about the interaction between Kwames, Tunjis, Emekas and Adamus...with their sky daddies and other fluffy winged companions...they are not our heritage.

Science and empirical knowledge on the other hand are truly people-agnostic. Electricity, aviation, chemistry...whether they were invented by Serbians, Russians, Ethiopians or Koreans...do not come with the baggage of belief systems.

God is our collective consciousness of nature and her myriad laws. The better we understand nature and her laws...the more balanced and pain free our lives will be.
That there are natural forces and supernatural forces is evident to any student of science. But that knowledge is not based on "mere" belief...its a reasoned faith. Some arrive at it by trial and error...some arrive at it by empirical studies and reproducible experiments. The phenomenon of sickle cell, viral diseases, earthquakes, eclipses...ceased to be mysteries that only shamans/clergy could explain when man chose to INVESTIGATE nature and her secrets.
We no longer have to consult the oracles to explain sickly children suffering from sickle cell conditions, most forms of epilepsy and nervous disorders...
We are no longer frightened as before by natural disasters like tornadoes, tsunamis, earthquakes...cos we possess a clearer knowledge of what those phenomena are...
There is no need for human sacrifices and the likes to ward off ebola in Africa, droughts in California...or pay some lying prophets of doom to talk to his own brand of sky daddy to ward of the terrors of his own creation.
To pray to a sky daddy to ward off evil is to call him capricious. Who created the evil in the first place?

Methinks man has a spiritual side that can only be satisfied by beauty, balance, harmony, order, truth,peace and love.
