Lol, sharp guy. He's now hiding under RMAFC to justify the bogus allowance he and his colleagues are about to receive. I taught he said he will go to the senate to fight this same bogus allowances and same old way of doing things. Huh, he now realises he needs consensus. Anyway, anybody who takes this man serious as regards fighting corruption is just wasting his time. He's not different from the rest.

Where this guys naked prior to their election ?
Does it have to cost so much dress up vis-a-vis our declining income poverty and infrastructural deficits at the moment ?
Is this not legalized pillage via RMAFC?
Where are the lawyers and the civil society groups and NLC ?
What metrics was used for such stupendous award ?
Can't this RMAFC be held liable for this pillage of our commonwealth ?
On what basis do they award so much to political office holders and so little to the workers ?
Does this not need to be tested in both courts (Public opinion and law courts) ?
Can somebody calculate how many minimum wage salary can be paid by one legislator's wardrobe allowance ? My calculation is that each of our legislators will be dressing up with salary of close to 1000 minimum wage workers! Multiply this by 469 and you have over 460,000 minimum wage salaries. The cost of their wardrobe allowance alone can collectively provide employment for close to 40,000 Nigerian youths at minimum wage rate for a year thus reducing youth unemployment !!!
Our ruling class are "eating" our future in broad daylight.
Is this not the reason their are no jobs, because elected officials "dress and eat" the jobs for the youths?
Personally, I think only sustained mass action can stop this, the presidency can not.
Where is the change? What is different?

While nairalanders kill themselves with tribalism, the legislathieves are united in the chopping of our money. Their strategy is to use tribalism to distract you, so you cannot form a united front against them.

Nigerian democracy is a sham and disgrace.

This is broad day light criminality, why are Nigerians such fools,to allow these dumb greedy fu-cks run us like this?

these greedy f-cks will milk us dry,we need to move against this waste, when we have hospitals, electricity infrastructure and food security to deal with.

Are the senators working for us or are we their slave...its sad that even Buhari can not bring us change.

Murray bruce has always been a money hungry bi-tch,i aint surprised.

Why is everyone attacking Bruce?... What has he said or done wrong?... What is too difficult for people to understand in what he said?...

It's a known fact to even a primary school pupil that one isolated man cannot make a difference on his own in the NASS, so what's all the hasty accusations about?

Nigerains are always fond of stoning persons who stick out their necks to speak on the side of the masses. I can't really blame Nigerian leaders who get into power and totally turn their backs on the masses.
WHO TOLD U HE IS ISOLATED. 180 NIGERIANS ARE BEHIND HIM. IF HE ME AND BIZ HE CAN START D RACE NIGERIANS WILL HAIL HIM JOHN HIM AND HIS FELLOW SENATORS WILL JOIN HIM. NOW HE HAS FALLEN HIS HANDS AND LEGS. I JUST SINCERELY HOPE WE COMTINUE TO RAISE OUR VOICES INCREASE THE TEMPO OF THIS CRUSADE FOR CHANGE IN NASS. IT'S JUST TOO MUCH. THOSE RFAMC WHATEVER PEOPLE SHOULD BE CALLED FOR QUESTION ING.

We are here crying blue murder buh how many of us would, if elected as a senator, reject this outrageous bull crap allowance. Some of us on this forum would in fact be making moves to get it increased.

Nigerians, hypocrites all of us.

Until I improve my morals, you improve ur morals...until then can Nigeria be better.

When PMB and PYO were campaigning, they said they'd implement a meal a day, many of us shouted that it was not feasible nor possible; Nigeria doesn't have the money. Exactly, the 'not enough money' would be channeled to other things like wardrobe allowance. Iranu
what's your problem dude. Are u for Nigerian or for d senators . The money too much. Even if nobody in nigeria will reject that amount that doesn't stop the senators from listening to d collective voices of d people. All we are saying reduce the pay of these NASS people. Stop making foolish excuses on their behalf.

Most of the people commenting against his two mouthed approach didn't read and understand his tweets, what he meant was that they should be a collective deliberation on what they ought to get hence why he wants a coalition with other law makers so that there can be an effective change.

God help him if he is really genuine. Amen

Bruce's comment does not mean he has renegaded on his principles and promises. We shouldn't be quick to misunderstand and misinteprete. Its best to consider issues objectively with all decency and void of prejudice. I understand his position. They say a tree cannot make a forest. In a chamber where bribery and corruption are trademarks, you need coalition and partnership that work in order to make impact. It's obvious he cant change the proposal at hand if he goes solo.

Bruce is apt on his comment, even if he shares in the booty it aint his fault.
look don't justify nonsense . Now tell me where will the change start from. Somebody must initiate it. And mind u. Millions of Nigerians would have supported him. Since we can find just a single tree that will make d forest. Then Nigerians will occupy NASS. Remove all of them and reelect new law makers.

Where are those lawyers that claim they are human rights advocate. It is time to challenge this mass looting of our scarce resource by NASS. Make sure the Resource Mobilization and Allocation office is jointly sued in the case because, the wardrobe allowance will further impoverish millions of Nigerians and deny them Fundamental Human Rights. Thanks.
