Why don't you quit this rabble-rousing, show us evidence that they have been winged?

You were transfixed with the number 9...you claimed thats how many we had total. Now you're running away from your own number 9.

You cant ask for proof twice in a row small boy. You asked for proof that we physically have more than 9 pilots. Today it was given to you....there are physically more than 9 Gripen pilots in the SAAF.

Now it is your job to either apologize and say that you were wrong, that indeed there are more than 9 pilots. OR show us which of the 14/15 pilots shown today are no longer in the SAAF. Up to you. It is YOUR turn for proof, not ours.

Gripen has way way way lower wing loading than your Junk Fighter, also throw in the fact that the Gripen has moveable canards makes it not only more maneuverable than your JF but also more maneuverable than almost any fighter on the market.

Video evidence shows the JF-17 Block I beats the Gripen Block II in combat maneuverability, even when the Gripen video is that flown by the best Swedish pilots.

Then the JF-17 has a higher flight altitude than the weaker Gripen, so when they both waste each others missiles with countermeasures, it becomes a gun battle and the JF-17 flying above the Gripen will gun down your overpriced jet by pumping cannon shells directly into the Gripen canopy into the pilots coconut head.

How does taking photographs make a pilot combat qualified? Even Jacob Zuma can pose for fun photo wearing pilots suit.

Is a photograph equal to standard flying hours per year? E-fool.

Dude, SAAF has ONLY 9 Gripen pilots and NONE of them is combat qualified with 150 hours flight per year, it's a pity you have not got a source to prove otherwise....your bad luck not ours

Those are definitely Somali Cadets. There's a source to prove it, it has multiple pictures of Somalis wearing that Uniform.

So you and @agaugust can just sit the f*ck down.

I already said I don't know for sure, there is no need for rude language.

I cannot tell from which countries they are as currently there are many military cadets from many African countries in Turkey: Gambiya, Senegal, Burkina Faso, Mali, Nigeria, Algeria, Gana, Ethiyopia, Chad, Zimbabwe, Morroco and Somali are the main countries having cadets in Turkey. The guys from the pictures IMO are not the same persons, although there are indeed also many Somalians in Turkey getting scolarships and admitted to military academies.

For the last 7-8 years Turkey placed a special attention to Africa, opening many embassies making diplomatic relations and the Turkish airlines has probably become the major airline that is flying to most of the African countries now.

Those uniforms are all Turkish uniforms, it doesn't matter from which countries the military students are they all wear the standard Turkish military cadet uniform.
White uniform = navy cadet
Green uniform = land forces cadet
blue uniform = airforces cadet

There is no evidence that you have more than 9 qualified Gripen pilots. Did you provide evidence that they have been winged?

Did you provide evidence and it was disputed. Guys in flight suit, do not show whether they are Pilots or Navigators or Trainees, no evidence they have been winged.

Former President GEJ in Camo, does this make him a General in the army or even an officer in the army?

It is your job to provide evidence that SAAF has above 9 winged pilots.

Throw away that word "qualified". You never used it next to the number 9....dont dare start using it now. You used it with the number 6, and 9 TOTAL pilots. Stick with that. Now....

Pic 1: 1st SAAF pilots to be qualified/trained on Gripen IN SA. Pilots before them were trained in Sweden. All 3 flew in Exercise Lion Effort 2012 (Sweden) in single seat Gripen C's. These are pilots. Not navs or "trainee's".

Pic 2: More Gripen pilots who flew in Lion Effort 2012. Pic was actually from SAAB website. Again only Gripen C's flew in Sweden.

Pic 3: Another pic from Lion Effort.

Pic 4: Blokkies Joubert. Definitely not a navigator or "trainee". Google him if you wish. He has been with the SAAF since Cheetah days.

That's 7 pilots so far. Not navigators and most definitely not "trainees".

Pic 1: This pilot flew a solo display at AAD 2014. That's where this pic is from.He is not a navigator and not even Liberia's Air Force will let a "trainee/unqualified" pilot do high G manuevers over a crowd of 50 000 people.

Pic 2: Like i said this pic came from Christo Crous, an official photographer IN the SAAF. It was titled "2 Squadron pilots" and was taken just before the 2009 Inaugural flypast. Pilot in the middle (black guy) is Commander of 2 Squadron. Experienced fighter pilot, not navigator.

That brings us to 9 pilots. Now...ALL the other people in the 2nd pic will have to be navigators if you are right. During the 2009 flypast only the black pilot flew, and the rest of them were clinging on to the outside of the Gripen? Was it a "1 jet" flypast?

What does your common sense tell you about the rest of those men in pic 2? All navigators? Or basic trainees who barely know how to fly in a straight line?

Keep in mind many Gripen pilots were transferred from the Cheetah program. So tell us...the rest of the people in pic 2 are not Gripen pilots?

The age will tell you a lot about the experience of pilots. Normally pupil pilots in SAAF are between 18-22 or up to 25 when you already have a flying licence from private flying schools.

Which experience? SAAF pilots have ZERO combat experience with Gripen and Hawk jets.....and the ancient pilots of 1980s Angolan war that were defeated by Cuban teenage pilots have retired or ran away to Australia

Is it true that Mr Barlow ripped off all Nigeria's revenues at the treasury. Now I have heard on the news that the whole country is broke and will need far more than $50 billion to remain viable in doing its duties and providing services. No money to pay public servants and they are hoping to borrow from Dangote and others. Africa's largest economy has now reduced to the size of Zimbabwe and Somalia. Damn!!!
