A friend of mine works at metroeyes so i will see if she can help arrange an appointment (This is in my own private capacity and has nothing to do with TeHN)

Guess there's no point for me to contact metro eye again then so we won't end up making multiple enquiries on the same issue. Correct?

Alright, that's fine.

I can't think of any other equipped eye center to recommend in Lagos/Nigeria. You guys are amazing. grin your patients have no excuse to miss or forget an appointment especially with your friendly text reminders wink

Please pardon me for the delayed responses.
No ophthalmic consultant on Tuesday. Can we do Friday, so all parties involved are ready?
The boy will have to be brought in by someone who knows as much as possible about his own medical history, and his family's too.
I'll advice that he's brought in early, like 9am. There may be preliminary tests by an optometrist, but I'm not so sure.
If TEHN is responsible for the funding as I suspect, a member may have to come along to pay for consultation/ registration.
I'm sure he's in good hands from this point on. If you tell me what area you're coming from, I'll give a detailed description of how to commute to the clinic.

Caracta,if I were a man and u r still single,i will haunt u down and propose to u.
Whatever it will take.

My question is this?
Is his treatment restricted to lagos alone?
What about d national eye hospital kaduna?
(this might not be d name o)

All I know about that hospital is that all stubborn eye cases from all eye hospital all over the country end up there. If they can't get it,no other will.

Who knows about d hospital I'm talking about pls?

Since he has been operated upon b4 and we know eye is very sensitive, we hv to look for the best.
Cases that can't be handled there are always sent to abroad.

I also noticed that's an ongoing offer of free eye tests for kids on your website.

I know tomiwa will require more complex tests, however, he should be eligible for the free test as that will knock off some $$$ from his bill? Correct?

Yes please, but not until 3rd August.

However, we're willing to do everything free for this first visit. No registration or consultation fee. He should just come in on Friday.
The Back to School program you're talking about as advertised on the website entails free screening and free lenses for kids 0-16 years. It starts in August and ends in October.

Since we're still in July we've technically not started, but we're going to make a concession for his case.

Yes, the Ikoyi office.

@moca, people come in from across Africa on referral to metro eye clinic. I know the hospital in Kaduna too, by the way.

Amen. Thanks. God bless you too. You've got a heart of gold.

Any luck in getting a volunteer that would accompany the parents? It would be great if someone enlightened could accompany them as that way, questions could be put through to metroeyes and we can also have a detailed feedback on how the consultation went.
