No ophthalmic consultant on Tuesday. Can we do Friday, so all parties involved are ready?
The boy will have to be brought in by someone who knows as much as possible about his own medical history, and his family's too.

I'll advice that he's brought in early, like 9am.

There may be preliminary tests by an optometrist, but I'm not so sure.
If TEHN is responsible for the funding as I suspect, a member may have to come along to pay for consultation/ registration.
I'm sure he's in good hands from this point on. If you tell me what area you're coming from, I'll give a detailed description of how to commute to the clinic.

I just read through the entire thread and my heart goes out to the poor boy and his family. My prayer that his sight is restored so we can scratch out the idea of special school.

I noticed that the exact location where Tomiwa and his parents stay is not mentioned on this thread. It will be better if it's disclosed so someone residing around there can volunteer to accompany the family. Sometimes I wish I wasn't so busy with work and family and recently studies so I can be actively involved in causes like this .

I pray God touches our little Tomiwa and make him whole again. God bless you all.

I have no idea where they are coming from, I'm sure tearoses would know that. Metro Eye Clinic is at 22, Keffi Street, opposite Aunty Ayo Comprehensive. The Metro Eye sign is an obvious one you can't miss.
As for the time he'll spend, depends on how quick they come. Basically, he'll get a card and see the doctor. That shouldn't take more than 10-20 minutes but if he isn't the first to come in the wait may be longer.

A volunteer has offered to meet Tomiwa and his parents at the Metro clinic @9 am (idowu did I get it rght this time ) on Friday

I will arrange a taxi to take them there and back so they get there in time
