Indeed politics is a dirty game. For me, it is good for us to see what is happening in Lagos state. Unfortunately for Ambode, he has started digging the hole of failure for the second term. I believe a good political party should start taking all this evidences to nail APC in the next election. If Ambode fails to perform, I will be one of the people that will vote against him and his party. How I wish Jimi Agbaje can re-contest in 2019. I Let Apc keeps fighting dirty, the pigs will indeed get happier. Hate Fashola or like him, he has done wonderfully well.
yes,you can vote for him ,but you must be a dreamer thinking PDP will win lagos of all state

Stop blaming Tinubu and Ambode. Fashola himself gave the directive that contracts executed should be published on the public procurement agency website for transparency before he left office. He is a victim of transparency and nothing else. Those contracts were on the website before Fashola left office.

How come it is making news now most especially when there is a cold war between him and BAT?

They can not accuse him of anything because they know he did not steal anything or did anything wrong, this is cowardly and smear tactics just to rubbish his image.

All they can do is and have been doing is Fashola spent this, Fashola spent that, but when are they going to get to Fashola stole this and that.?

These are cowards and scumbags especially the new Orobo governor and errand boy...

These are cowards and scum bag.

Aresa, you won't be bothered if a contract that should cost N10M is awarded and executed at N100M? For me, all what is happening now is good for our country. These leaders took the people for granted for too long. Right now a $b sounds like small money here while it remain a huge amount of money in Europe that is more developed than our country. The rot was mutual to both parties but my main problem with the PDP and the last government is they seemed to be very comfortable with it and promoted it to high heavens.
This is why am calling on ordinary Nigerians irrespective of party and ethnical Affiliations to support the current war against corruption and watch how the system gets sanitized gradually before our very eyes.

Yes, I was one of those who protested when he sent some 'foreigners' out of Lagos. But that one action cannot make me to hate BRF. His developmental projects in Lagos, speaks volume.

The former governor was also said to have spent N1.6bn on the construction of a 48-bedroom hotel at Lagos State VIP Chalets, Badagry.
And 7 billion produced an abandoned Vp house.

Anyways naija is gradually getting there. This would def not have been news during gejs tenure. With time every politician, irrespective of party will be held accountable.

Who made Fashola best governor? All Nigerian leaders pay lip service to the masses. Lagos state is so rich that no part of the state should pay toll fees on roads or have bad roads.

Thank God that our position on fashola being corrupt like his God father Tinubu is being vindicated.

There are only two governors I can vouch for their true love for their people. Immediate past governor of Enugu state, Sullivan Chime and the current governor of Ekiti state, Ayodele Fayose..

All the others are just pretending.

My brother, the level of looting, inflation of contracts in Lagos and by extension all APC states is crazy.

Taking Lagos as a case study: Lagos IGR covers 70% of its annual budget, what now becomes of the allocation from the Federation accounts ?

The oil windfall is also accrued to states, how did our governors spend this fund?

What about their respective shares from the SUREP after GEJ made partial subsidy removal? Where are the projects funded by those funds and allocations

Despite all the above revenue, Lagos state alone accounts for about 40% of the nations debts.

Yes, the debts portfolio might be healthy, but where are the infrastructures the facilities was sourced for ?

I see resons why BRF and APC refused to domesticate the Freedom of Information Bill.

All the looted fund MUST be return for Buhari corruption fight to be effective, irrespective of the fellow.

It is because @BudgeTIt, a non partisan, very commendable accountability and transparency NGO beamed its search light on it. They have been on Fashola and others neck for a very long time. The timing is irrelevant.

They don't have to show me nada. Haba...I like Fashola like kilode. To me he is the best thing that happened to Lagos state and Nigeria as a whole. But truth be told, that amount is to hefty for just two boreholes. Putting up one borehole is not even up to a million naira. I understand you are unapologetically pro-APC, but except there was more to the project than just erecting two boreholes, the money is too much.

Even if each borehole is assisted by metal works carrying 5 overhead GEEPEE tanks. The 5 tanks amounts to N250k, metal works N250k, Plumbing N100k, Drilling N400k.

Each borehole should not exceed N1m at most. I keep warning Nigerian youth to stop supporting thieves in government owing to their political affiliation. They are not close to these men and do not know how much money these men control and corner to their private pockets..

I have a friend who is a past commissioner, under 7 months he erected a N50m house, now tenure is over, he cannot even pay for cheap goods he purchases. Which means he was helping himself with whatever funds that entered his ministry..

I am so glad for the current development in Nigeria political landscape.

The fight against corruption and corrupt individuals must be total.

The labeling of a party corrupt while praise singing another partners in crime must never be allowed.

Guy, fight for your future. Nigeria has enough money to look like Europe but it is being stolen by people in power. I don't think Fashola gave you even N10k from his loot..

What Ambode is doing is the way forward. What Buhari is doing is the way forward. Why do you think the paramount interest of a good leader should be securing a second tenure? By this position, you are inherently corrupt. . Nigeria must develop and it must take a revolution whether silent or violent. Enough is enough.

Fashola is not being accused of anything. It is surprising that on one hand some of us call for transparency and openness in government and yet turn around to call it a witch-hunt. These projects are all approved and completed, hence there is no reason why LASG tenders board shouldn't put them on its website. It is left for those who see anything fishy to come out with their proof, rather than trying to set the former governor against his successor.

Before you blame Tinubu or Ambode, it was Fashola himself who gave the directive that contracts bidded, awarded and excited be published on the website.
Good One Brother. Very Smart Observation by You. I am Marvelled at how Unintelligent some Nigerian youths are, he was not being accused of anything, the said Contracts were duly approved and executed to completion, so what's all the fuss about. Later our youths will complain of unemployment as if they were employable, with their daft ways of reasoning.
