Firsty mummyyyyyyy!!!!
Chai Oliver twist, they will stamp your passport na so..... no hiding place. In fact I initially started processing with ecobank and wen they were wasting time and I ported to acces bank, I was hit with a shocker wen they said " customer has exceeded his limit " !! So they actually keep track. they had to inform CBN that I only started d process but didn't complete it, which they cross checked before I was issued in access

Yes I delivered at Ben Taub General Hospital in Houston and will like to deliver there throughout my entire delivery process. Had a fantastic and cokastic experience. they were never in a rush to attend to patient. It was as if I was watching greys anatomy. As per billing, though my case was a bit complicated but still had a fair billing and discount.
Pls come and tell us how much you paid or you know how much they charge for delivery both normal and CS. I guess some pple here have used this hospital but didn't come back to give review. Am sure some peeps here need this info.
How many patients were with you in your recovery room as I heard it's shared room? More info needed here o

Hello Nasadiva and all other Dr Adaiah Ezekiel mamas, make una post her quotes for us here o and discounts she gives on both Vaginal and CS deliveries. Also what Lab test she allows us to bring from Naija and d cost of d ones she expects us to do for yonder, what her paediatrics charges etc.I ve tried calling her office severally and each time Laurie takes my email and promises to send a mail on the quotes et al, I don't recieve any mail o.

I'm not really clear, but will respond base on my understanding. If you meant whether or not you can use the same visa the second time without hassles, the answer is yes. Just take the same response the embassy gave you when you wrote them the first time.

Thanks a lot dear. I appreciate or assist. Keep up d good work.

grin grin. I am back to answer your questions, I settled for Springs of Joy and I am enjoying every bit of it.( I know u ll say u tot I am on budget), yes it's better for me on the long run. I bought BTA ( 5000 usd) from travelex at the airport with no hassle after Access bank frustrated my life for two days over reactivation of my dormant acc at 203.98 but Access rate was 199.5 plus 1% charge and 5% of the 1% as VAT.

[quote author=stevoche post=37705874]Goodday People,

I have learned so much from all the posts. Took me a while to read through but i am glad to be here. My wife is due in January and we have decided to use the West Houston Hospital. But my challenge is paying the doctor and Hospital for their services from Nigeria. I dont want her travelling with so much cash. Please what bank card can allow charges of at least $5k. Please the experienced people in the house should help me out. Our appointment date is for October 13th and she is billed to travel a month after. Kindly advice. [/quote

My sister, what my eyes have seen this past month my lips can't say. To preserve my mental health, I have sha packed my load and found myself an alternative accommodation even closer to the hospital jeje. Before insult turns to injury and depression sets in.
This got me laughing. sorry about your ordeal,it will all end well. I have never been in support of staying with families for months, its not easy we are all human. cheesy

oluwafunkenny:

pls people IS DC good to go for delivery?

do you mean Washington, DC? It is a very small district with only about 3 or 4 hospitals providing maternity services. You can widen your search to include Maryland and Northern Virginia hospitals. If you must stay in the DMV (DC, MD, VA) area, be prepared for exhorbitant and unexpected costs.
