Anyway may be u are one of the PASTOR WORSHIPPERS... if a church owns a school i think its should be cheaper than even Government owed school cos, we all know that funds in the church comes collective effort of almost all the members rich/poor.... So a situation where the school owned by the church is only affordable to some few very wealthy members to me is fraudulent...

Its like contributing money to buy a church bus and after the purchase,only members with one million naira are allowed to enjoy the bus.,when every member had contiributed in buying the bus...

How can a church's school be cheaper than a government do you even know what you typed? You want to compare the funds the government gets to that which a church gets. A church has to go on missions, pay full time pastors salaries, build worship centers, organise events and spend on other things all from the tithe, offerings and charity donations.

Point me any private university that is cheap.

Do you want the private universities to create the advanced secondary schools we call federal universities?

Nigeria is messed up that is why RUN is expensive. If they build a substandard tertiary institution and accept less you'll be one of those complaining that they can't offer good education to their members.

If after reading Malachi 3:8-12 you still reason this way you really need to ask God to open your spiritual eyes to be able to understand the benefits of Tithes and Offering (luke 6:38, Acts 20:35). Please do not rob yourself off Gods blessing through what's going on here(Genesis 12:3).

Plz read 1Samuel 7-9 and ask God to interpret it to you through the ministry of the Holy Spirit.

I am not happy with our pastors buying jet.....but to say that they are exploiting their members via school fees is far from the truth.It costs money to fund a school properly. And while I rather Adeboye spend the jet money on the schools....it still won't be enough.

I am not justifying the buying of the jet.....I was responding to a comment which appeared to state that university fees in church run unis are too high ......by pointing out how difficult it is to fund private universities.

Why dont u read deutronomy 26... Yall think everyone is gullible. God to interprete it? Very funny, was it written in latin? There is a reason why the jews tithed only in canaan and why tithe was mainly wine and food. The levites also had a share in their tithes because they were not allowed any form of inheritance. It will strike you to know that the jews do not tithe as of now, they are not breaking any law, you would know why if you do not wait for someone to interprete what is clearly written. Also stop reading in verses, the bible is a book you would get things out of context if you do not read the full story, mostly in chapters.

Pastors are some of the people who benefit from the hardship in the land cos they can preach prosperity and make money out of it. How do you tell someone who lives in a country where hardwork and intellect pays these stories? The primary concern of the church should be salvation. Missions never preached prosperity but yet improved the lives of people by dedicating their lives to works of charity just like our saviour did.
