"Doye!" Mrs. Yemi threw herself at the surprised young man. He shifted backwards and steadied his balance and held her a little distance from himself.
"Abidoye!" She kept on saying, tugging at his collar excitedly.
"Excuse me?" He finally said, looking at the elderly man and the pretty young lady.
"It's me...your Mother. You don't....remember me?" Doye's confusion deepened as they all looked up at him, expectant. Like he was supposed to do or say something; something he didn't know of.
Mother? What was she on about?
Didn't Biebi said he was an orphan?

"Mother?" He repeated, unsure. She nodded.
"Yes, your Mom. It's me. Where have you been, honey? We've looked everywhere for you!"
Doye looked at her, blankly.
"You're my Mom?" Mrs. Yemi nodded again and looked at her husband for support.
"Is it that you don't recognize me or-?" Mr. Yemi stepped in and held on to his wife's shoulders.
"Doye, what's wrong with you? You don't recognize your own parents?" He paused and sighed. "What of this witch?" He pointed to Monica, spitefully. "You don't recognize her, too?"
"Hey, easy maan." Monica interjected, coming forward. "Common baby, you remember me right? Your girlfriend? Hm. Did you hit your head somewhere?"
"Who are you, people?" Doye cut her short. He had been hit with that 'girlfriend' story once and won't fall for it again. "And if you do know me, I need proof."
His mother wordlessly took out some pictures of him from her bag and handed it to him.

Oh God, he thought, without giving much thought to the implication of the pictures, or that he had found his parents-Biebi had lied to him. Again.

Vosa stepped out of her apartment, looking dapper. She had on a short, tight black dress and held on to her black purse. She looked pleased with herself as she stopped by the main road to take a cab. She didn't have to go to 'work' today. She had enough money for the whole month, and she had Chief to thank for. All she wanted to do at that moment was just party and forget her name.
A white Range Rover pulled up beside her and the owner wound down the window.

"Get in" He order. Vosa rolled her eyes and hissed loudly.
Richard smiled and alighted from his car.
"Where are you headed?"
"Who gave you my house address?" She fired back.
"Has anyone ever told you how sexy you look each time you fluently speak English?"
Blood rose to her cheeks. Sexy? Vosa thought. She did feel sexy when he stared at her like that. Like she was the only woman in the world.
"Shut up." She retorted and looked away.
"I traced your call." He answered, smiling. "Now, where are you headed?"
"Wetin? What do you want, you this boy?"
"Again, I'm not a boy. And all I want Vosa is to win your forgiveness"
"Why?"
"Okay, let's cut the crap. My Dad will freeze all my bank accounts if we don't get on good terms. I don't like that you hold so much power over me. But I don't have a choice. So work with me here. Where you headed?" Vosa looked him over, before answering.
"This club, downtown."
"Rehab club. Ever been to it? I heard it's the best."
"So? Who get that kain money to waste?"
"Let's go."
"No." She folded her hands stubbornly.
"You want me to drag you down there?"
"I'm not going anywhere with you." He smiled, amused.
"Again, that sexiness I just can't resist." He opened the door to the passenger seat and gestured to her. "Please?"
After about a minute of considering it, she reluctantly entered.

Doye sat motionless, digesting every information his mom and Dad told him. He was a lawyer., he was wealthy. His girlfriend was the fair lady seated beside them, she broke up with him on that fateful night, he went and got drunk, had an accident and Biebi helped him out.
He didn't tell them about Biebi tho. He will deal with her personally himself.
But....God, he trusted her.
"Doye...Doye?" Monica called out to him.

Doye ignored them all and picked up his phone, dialing Biebi's number.
"Hello, I need to see you tomorrow. 12:00pm. Don't be late"

Richard led Vosa over to the VIP section the minute he got past the bouncers.
"Have a seat" He pulled up the seat and motioned to her. She sat down, still gazing around.
"This place dry jhoor." She said to him as he sat down. "People no plenty." As she said this, she looked longingly at those dancing wildly on the dance floor.
"This is the VIP section." He enforced with a measure of pride.
"Eh-hen?" She asked, non-chalantly. "I wan dance jare."
Richard shook his head.
"This is where the dôpe people sit. You can dance all you want here. You want a drink?" She sulked. Who send him message now, she thought. If she had gone to her low-pro club, she would be dancing like the crase pikin that she was.
He ignored her and ordered an expensive bottle of champagne. He poured it into the glasses set before them and gave her a glass.
She took it and sipped a little.

"Hm. E sweet." She remarked, smacking her lips. She gulped the contents of the glass.
"Just take it easy. It's extremely alcoholic."
"Pour am jhoor." She gave him her glass and he filled it up.
She downed three more glasses and stared at him, intoxicated.
"I wan dance." She shouted.
"Shh, we'll dance, okay?"
"I wan dance there." She pointed at the dancefloor. She stood up slowly, took hold of the bottle and finished what was left of it. She dropped the bottle and left to go dance in the centre stage. She moved drowsily to the music and swayed her hips from side to side.
After some minutes, she went to the bartender and ordered for some more liquor. She drank to her fill and went back to he dancefloor, staggering drunkenly.

"Good God." Richard muttered, as he saw her making a fool of herself. He went to the dancefloor and took hold of her hand. "Let's go"
"No!" She held on to his shirt. "Let's dance."
"I don't know how to" He muttered as she pulled him close. They were practically so close he could feel from the fabric of her dress that she had no bra on.
"I'll teach you." She said, seductively and cradled her hips in between his pelvis.
"Vosa, em... I'm not so sure about this. Let's just go home." She grinded slowly on his zipper.
"Shut up jhoor. You be virgin? Hold me jare" He held her waist, cautiously. No panties again.
God, I'm dead, he thought.
"You know, you wouldn't ask me to hold you if you're sober." She thrust her chest out at him and moaned into his ear.
"Vosa, you're my father's...girlfriend...wife...." Vosa slid her hands down his pants and that shut him up. He grabbed her hands and led her towards the gents. The toilet was free, Richard noted gratefully. He sat her on the sink and kissed her passionately, rubbing his hands through her hair and her entire body. His body throbbed as he felt her erect nipples.
He broke the kiss and stepped back.
"Vosa, I can't....do this." Vosa got down from the sink.
"Why? You no get deek?"
"No, no, of course I can. I mean, I shouldn't" She advanced towards him as he took a step backwards. "Of course I want to make passionate, mad love to you. I mean, look at that body. Yes, yes, of course I do. But not like this. You're my dad's...girlfriend. And...you're drunk.
You don't really want me"
Vosa stopped to consider what he said, but she couldn't really hear anything.
All she knew was that he looked extremely hot and she was extremely turned on. Whatever he said didn't matter. She just wanted him.
She grabbed him and kissed him again.
Richard restrained her.

"I can't do this, Vosa. I just can't." Vosa stood still for a minute. What was he saying? That he was just going to leave her with all her feelings bottled up inside?
"Please try to understand."
She slapped him across the cheek and walked out.

Biebi dropped her phone and pondered at Doye's message. "12:00pm tomorrow?"
And he sounded serious. She wondered about what he wanted.
"Aunty B" Oyibo interrupted her thoughts. She looked up at him and smiled.
"Yes champ"
"Can we talk?" He asked, as he took a seat facing her. "Efe is asleep-so we can talk..."
"Hmmn. Sounds serious." He shrugged.
"Not really. I just want to thank you for all you've been doing for us. You've been a blessing, really." Biebi chuckled.
"Don't be silly. If I don't take care of you two, then what would I do? It's my duty. Plus, I love to put a smile on the faces of you guys." Oyibo cleared his throat.
"And I appreciate that. But... About, what you do- Aunt B, don't take this the wrong way, but...please, I'd like that you reconsider-" Biebi smiled.
"It's okay. I've been thinking about it too. I've decided to put it behind me. I'm definitely better than all that. I've thought of some things I can do..." Oyibo grinned, excited.
"Really?" He went to meet her and hug her.
"Yes champ. I want you to be proud of me wherever you go. You and your sis." He sat down on the arm of her chair.
"And you're doing this also because of that fine gentleman, eh?" Biebi looked up at him, surprised.
"Oyibo!" He laughed and nudged her.
"I saw the way you looked at him. It's obvious you like him. And....I like him too. He's cool" Biebi smiled.

"Does he know?" Oyibo asked, curiously. "You know..."
"No."
"I think you should tell him. If he loves, he'll accept you the way you are. If he hears it somewhere else however, he'll probably never trust you again."
"And who made you a relationship expert?" She poked his head. "Speaking of hearing it elsewhere, where did you hear about... You know" Oyibo cleared his throat nervously and stood up.
"Oyibo? Tell me. You need to know a runz girl to know these details."
"Em...it's Chioma." Biebi rolled her eyes.
"Are you kidding me? I told you to stay away from that good-for-nothing girl!" Oyibo looked down at his feet.
"Well...she said she'd give me some if-_"
"Some what?" Biebi stood up. "Don't tell me you slept with that one"
Oyibo chuckled.
"Novice like me"
"Oyibo, it's not funny. You're 17. You should be focused on other things, not sex..."
"A man has needs" He muttered.
"Even though it comes to that, you should do it with someone who's worthy..."
"So I can have sex?" His eyes brightened. Biebi sighed.
"I can't tell you what to do, Oyibo. But I'll support you in whatever you do, cos I know you'll do what's right."
"You're using that tone of voice that tells me to wait till I'm married" Oyibo groaned. Biebi chuckled and hugged him.
"Self control is key, honey. Sex is too precious to just have with anyone. I'm not telling you what to do, but if I could turn back the hands of time, I'd wait until I'm ready, he's ready, I'm madly in love and I'm not going anywhere."
"Yeah, you have a point. I don't really know what love is anyway."
"Well, come on. Let me teach you about protection, just in case"

Vosa blinked as the sun rays flashed through her window. She raised her left hand above her eyes and sat up on the bed, tiredly.
"Richard?" She muttered to him as he stood at the window, hands in his pocket.
"Yes, drunkard?" He walked towards her. Vosa hissed.
"You give me drink make I high, ba?" He sighed, exasperated.
"I gave you nothing. You're the one who went and got drunk!"
"No shout abeg." She massaged her temples. "Headache."
"Well, that's what you get drunkard. You literally embarrassed me last night."
"Wetin happen?"
"You can't remember?" He asked, unbelievably.
"Only thing I remember na the drink you give me"
"You don't remember asking me to sleep with you?" Vosa stopped rubbing her forehead and stared daggers at him. She went at him, pounding his chest, while cursing at him.
"Dirty pig! How dare you! How you go dey sleep with your papa's girlfriend?"
He shoved her slightly towards the bed.

"I didn't sleep with you, Vosa! Although, trust me, you really wanted me to."
She paused to recollect her thoughts. She could remember it clearly. The kiss, in the gents, her insistence, her arousal, his refusal. Oh God. She put her hand over her head.
She felt completely stupîd.
"I bought you chicken soup. It's in the fridge. It'd help subside your headache." He picked up his car keys from the lamp stand. "And it's best we keep this away from my Dad. Just put in a good word for me and we'll be even." He made to leave.
"Richard?" He stopped, but made no attempt to turn.
"Why did you- I mean, why didn't you?"
"That's not how I roll, dear Vosa. I don't sleep with intoxicated women. It has to be mutual"
He walked out the door, leaving her puzzled and pleased with his answer.

She picked up her phone and dialed Biebi's number.
"Biebi?"
"What's up, bih?"
"You no go believe wetin happen to me last night?"
"Wetin? You go work?" Vosa hissed.
"I been dey even make up my mind to quit that yeye thing." Biebi chuckled.
"Even me sef. But why you dey plan to quit am?"
"Na because of wetin happen to me last night nau."
"Oya talk" Biebi enjoined.
"I go party with Richard..."
"I been think say you no like am?"
"My dear, the tori long abeg. He just jam me for house when I wan go out go shake nyash small. So we come go this big man club. We come dey drink, dey dance. I come higgghhhhhh, I come tell am say make we kpansh"
"Ehn?! Na so your ashewo don reach? How you go dey fvck papa and pikin join?"

"For real?"
"Yes nau. The thing shock me. Me, wey if he do am, he no go comot anything for my body. Im come dey treat me like..."
"Virgin" They both chorused and laughed.
"Vosa, e be like say im like you o"
"I no sure, jhoor. He's just a gentleman. I didn't know guys like am still dey"
"Na why you wan stop waka waka?"
"Yes o. That my hairdresser work, na im I go focus on. Guy go know my worth, na me no go come know my worth? I dey crase?" Biebi laughed.

"See wetin love dey do o"
"Shut up jhoor. Eh hen, you too talk say you wan quit. Wetin happen?"
"Oyibo know say I bin dey do am. E no even funny at all..."
"Ehyaa.." Vosa symphatised.
"I jus no wan dey disappoint my people like that, abeg."
"Those people include Dafe too, abi?"
"Shut up jhoor." They both laughed.
"I even wan go see Dafe sef"
"Take am easy o..."
"I hear you. You dey go out?"
"I wan go tell Chief I no do again."
"Ahn. Good luck o."
"Thank you my sister. I go need am wella."

Chief Benson's secretary rushed in with a copy of 'The Punch' Newspaper.
"Sir, em..."
"What is it, Stephanie?" He asked, irritated.
"The news on-" She dropped the paper on his desk and the picture along with the headline hit him hard.
Richard Benson, young Multimillionaire hooked?
And he saw the picture of Vosa and Richard holding each other close in a dimly lit club.
"Is that not the girl that follows you about?" Stephanie added, slyly.
"Shut up, Steph! Call Richard, immediately! Tell him I need to speak with him immediately!!"
"Yes Sir" She scurried out of his office.

"Come on in" Doye beamed at her as she stepped in, unsure. He shut the door behind her and motioned to her the dining. She followed him, silently wondering.
"Um...you said you needed to see me." He nodded.
"Nothing serious, really." He stared at her. "Loosen up", and he chuckled.
"Look what I prepared" She glanced at the table and saw mouth-watering dishes of fried rice and salad.
"I thought you didn't know how to cook." He grinned and sat down.

"But I can buy the recipe book." She sighed.
"Doye, what is this about?"
"Have your seat, babe" She sat down, reluctantly. "I prepared this to...celebrate our friendship. You've been a great friend to me, B. No lies, no dishonesty, no secrets. Cheers." He drank the dark alcoholic wine slowly. She gulped, nervously.
"Um...Doye? I need to tell you something."
"Eat up" He said, taking his first spoon from the rice. "It's delicious, I assure you."
"It's important."
"After the meal then" She resigned arguing any further and ate in silence.
"It's nice." She muttered.
"I told you." He smiled and stopped eating.

"Um..." She put her hand to her forehead and attempted to stand.
"Don't even bother, B. You can't move a limb."
"Oh God, did you poison me?" She felt incredibly weak and dizzy, and could barely see him through the fog that formed in front of her. He got up from where he was seated.
"Well...you lied to me...severally"
"Bastarr-" She became unconscious before she could complete her statement.

"Chief, I just can't continue this thing anymore." Chief Benson's eyes glinted in rage.
"Because of my son, right?" Vosa looked up, surprised.
"No o. Wetin you dey talk, Chief?"
"I'm talking about this, Vosa!" And he flung the newspaper at het. She looked at it, shock visibly written all over her face.
"Chief, this....this is not..." He stood up.
"I gave you everything, Visa. Every bloody thing you ever needed! What does he have that I don't? Is it the money, the cars, good food, even the sex? Vosa, do you have any idea how many sex-enhancing pills I take on your behalf, even at my own detriment? Do you?!" Vosa stood up, nervous.
"Chief please.... Take it easy. E no be like the way them put am for paper. Make I explain"
"Shut up, Vosa. You and my son have succeeded in humiliating me, in making me look like a foôl. But you know what? I will have the last laugh. I will strip Richard of all his assets. He will be worse than a begga. You want to leave me for him, right? Go on, go on."
"Chief please.....no be im fault. Na me cause am..."
"Get out."
"Chief..."
"Get out!" She picked up her purse and walked out, distraught.

She bumped into Richard at the doorway and stared at him, short of words.
"Richard..."
"Are you happy?" He asked, his question laced with sarcasm. "My Dad has disowned me. You know what that means? I'm worth nothing. I don't have a penny to my name. Are you happy now?"
"Richard, I'm sorry"
"No, don't be. I'm the fool here. I should never have had anything to do with you, or better still, fvcked your brains out when I had the chance, so at least I won't be losing at both ends."
Vosa stepped back, hurt by his words.

Biebi winced as the rope pierced deep into her wrist.
"Ow" She moaned in pain and struggled to break free, but the ropes were tight as hell. Slowly, she opened her eyes to take in the environment. She was in a bedroom, Doyle's, she suppose. And she was strapped tight to a wooden chair.
"Bastard", she cursed.
He walked in through the open door.

"You called?" He smirked.
"What are we doing here-reenacting 50 shades of grey?" He folded his hands and scoffed.
"No, I won't give you that pleasure. Not after you lied to me severally." Biebi laughed bitterly.
"So this is what this is about? Some stvpid lie? That's why you tied me up?" He walked towards her.
"It's not just some stvpid lie, Bieb. I trusted you! And you lied to me over and over again. How on earth can I trust you ever again?" She looked down at her feet and meditated for some seconds.

"Is that why you tied me up?" She asked again. He sighed, exasperated.
"Well, I couldn't think of a good enough punishment to give you." Biebi laughed, inspite of herself.
"Punishment? Doye, do I look like I'm twelve? Why would I punish you for just one tiny lie?"
"Maybe not just the lie alone. But the fact that I'm tryna figure out what you have on me. Why I can't get you out of my heart and mind? Why with all your nastiness, you're first thing that comes to my mind and the last thing when I sleep. Why is it Biebi that even though you don't give two shîts about me, I'm always sitting here thinking like a foôl about you? Biebi, my parents came here yesterday to look for me, but I didn't even care about that. They brought with them my ex whom I supposedly loved so much I wanted to die for her, but I felt nothing. I felt nothing and trust me, Monica is a beauty to behold. I didnt care about all that because I was thinking about you, you crazy woman!
And why? Why, Biebi? Tell me! I know you did something to me"
"I think most people will call that love" She said and grinned sheepishly.

"I'm not in love with you."
"Neither am I in love with you."
"But you kissed me."
"I did it for your figurine." She said spitefully.
"You trembled when I touched you."
"I was cold."
"Okay. So you don't love me and neither do I feel anything for you..."
"Good."
"Good."
"So...untie me now."
"Stay there for a little longer and next time, you'll think before you tell another lie."
"My hands hurt, Doye!"
"Is there anything else I need to know, Bieb?" No, she thought. She'd die before she'd tell him anything from her past. It was past anyway. She wasn't really lying. Plus, he was starting to feel something for her. She didn't want to ruin that.
"No." She shrugged.
He walked up to her and untied the ropes.
She stood up, flexed her arm and gave him a resounding slap.
"That's for attempted kidnap, you jerk!"

Without any words, he grabbed her hand and kissed her. As shocked as she was, she revelled in the moment, loving the feel of his lovely lips.
He let go of her and stared at her piercingly.
"Are you also cold now?"
Then he walked out.

The reason I'm updating slowly is because I'm recording the story.
Rather than writing, I'm thinking of just recording it and having you guys listen to it.
What do you think? Do you prefer the write ups or the audio to download and listen?
Re: Shattered Glass by Nobody: 7:30pm On Sep 20, 2015
I don't mean narrating the story o

I mean the characters saying their part, the action and everything
