The Senate President, Bukola Saraki, has finally appeared before the Code of Conduct Tribunal where he is being charged for alleged false declaration of assets.
Mr. Saraki failed to appear before the tribunal on Friday, and again on Monday, despite an arrest warrant issued against him.

He faces a 13-count charge bordering on corruption and false assets declaration.
Mr. Saraki said Monday that he would appear before the tribunal, after the Court of Appeal in Abuja dismissed his application for a stay of execution.

He arrived at the tribunal at about 10.20am, accompanied by deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, and other senators.
The tribunal has disallowed live broadcast of its proceedings. But you can follow highlights of the session below.

UPDATE: Justice umar just ruled that code of conduct have jurisdiction to rule ove criminal matters and this matter is criminal.

At last he doesn't have any other choice other than to come if not nah to drag him come the place and he'll end up being embarrassed
They said Buhari is witch-haunting politicians, and this is a member of his party, if it's from PDP I don't know the name that they'll call it. The likes of Jonathan, Ekeremadu, Fayose, Alison Madukwe, and others should be ready to be probed too.
Nigeria is again on the right track, Corruption is the biggest cankerworm eating this country up, if it can be drastically reduced to some extent Nigeria will rise once again.

He should just resign cause the charges he faces right now he can't escape at all.He should honorably resign than face this humiliation.

If he keeps evading his demons,one day they'll eat him up.Let's assume he escapes CCT,what of EFCC charges and many other criminal allegations that haven't been dug up.

Btw,he just pleaded guilty to one of the counts.
