The Purpose of these thread is to try to uncover the mystery of funmi adams who seem to have disappeared without no trace for the past 23 years according to the executive producer ..Tunde alabi Hundeyin(Dudu music),so deep is her mystery that almost everybody that use to work for her then even couldn't trace her or were even no where to be found besides the producer Tunde akins and editor tunde obalana.
Is these how we will just let these beautiful songstress disappear with her works which inspired an entire nation with songs of unification on brotherhood,sisterhood and what it means to be patriotic.

I also thought about her today while watching the songs being played by TV stations as a way of celebrating Nigeria's Independence.

None of them could even play 'Nigeria my Beloved Country.'

I remember asking around some TV and Radio stations here in the southwest about 4-5 years ago. I got discouraged when no information was forthcoming about Funmi Adams after months of asking up and down.

Cheers to Octavo, Deejaygold, Warrenweste and others that have been involved in the search. Some of her songs were uploaded not too long ago. It was really nice having those, though years have caught up with the quality.
Hopefully, something better will come up one day.

From what I can tell, she has strong connection with children. It is evident in most of her videos. Most of the people passionate about her and her videos were probably very young then. Most of the people who were adults back then surprisingly do not even give a damn about her or her videos. If those who were adults back then could commit some level of zeal or passion in this quest, we would have gotten her videos long ago.

Infact it baffles me that there is toooo many eye service out there,even in the damn media they seem nt to care, at times they even look at u like your a pest if u mail them online about the woman,am tired i have mailed mailed and mailed ,even the kids in the videos then dont seem to care much i met one online and he doesn't seem to be able to help,whats more depressing is the nonchalant response of the executive producer mr hundeyin dudu who ignored my pleads for the womans video and also the main producer laolu akintoba (akins) who didnt even reply

That's true, children were passionate about her then, the adults were more passionate about the likes of Fela, hence reason you can easily get Fela's videos. So sad, anyway to some of us she represents the true face of Nigeria which is deep sense of patriotism and I must commend all who have been involved in this search, may be if some of us were much older then, this search wouldn't have been this intensive but then we are a nation that don't value true patriots.

Yes, obviously she doesn't want to be found. I read on a blog that says a source confirmed she's alive (the post was 2014). Google search "Funmi Adams dead or alive".

there is almost no mention of her on the internet.

That means someone is actively monitoring her online presence and removing all references that point to her.
