Ok, three quarters of what you wrote ia aimed at women but eh what about what a man shouldn't say to a woman . because wrong words are a two way thing. Sha I await the women's reply to this.

Try this: Have you gained weight? Or you look plump or fat or anything to that effect.

A big no no for women. Even if, they don't care to gain weight etc....

Shows a careless thoughtlessness on the part of the guy. This is a big foot stuck the mouth that would require a surgeon and a few stitches. smiley

Some guys are so immature and unreasonable that they want no other thing apart from sex...is SEX food??..we can survive without it bt some people just make it the sole aim of their relationships....with what's goin on in modern days relationship, all wants sex bt if pple can just reason and let true love without sex prevail...relationships will last long and be fruitful......

Moral lesson:relationships without sex lasts longer and gives birth to true love......

None of these things fall under sarcasm. undecided

These are all direct statements.

e.g A sarcastic statement wouldn't be "I miss my ex." It would be "I don't miss my ex at all." etc
Exactly!

In as much as these words sound harsh even as they come up every now and then and can be very real , I feel that people should be able to talk about their disappointments and shortcomings with their partners and let maturity play its role - If you can't say it the way it is in any relationship without being misconstrued , you better get the hell out from that cavemen relationship.

Say it the way it is but always come up with a great idea on how you guys can make it better lest it should become a dangerous criticism.
I become more suspicious of a woman that can't look into my eyes and tell me the ugly bitter truth .
True, but he should mind the way he talks...the No.1 the OP stated...that's so annoying, reminding me of my age lol....that can just make me walk out on you

Well, it depends on how freely you interact with your partner in crime and everything can be talked about.

But again background, belief system and cultural values would play a major role here. But you need to say it the way it is - Who else will tell you the ugly bitter truth if not that person that he or she has professed love for you?
I say my mind and if you want out because I said it the way it is , then go you're definitely not the best for me. People should talk about their differences all the time - it helps a lot.

It has to do with understanding...even when you're pissed I think one should mind the way he/she talks to the partner....some words are hurting at times

Well, you can look at her and say that 'you're calling me an indomie instant noodle but Chioma your friend and the other girl you saw me flirting with called me a horse honey last time I had her under my breath and arm'' you can sort that out later.

Learn to bad mouth each other in every relationship without showing offense.
People can say things they don't believe in when angry and you should just know how to give it back to them unless you're already aware that you're an indomie instant noodle which isn't a crime .
Simply tell her you've got a problem and unfortunately she can't solve it anyway. wink

Sarcastic Things Never To Say To You Partner Even In A Heated Argument

Sarcasm is simply saying things you don't really mean, in this case, due to your inability to manage your anger.

You think you love by hurting him or her with your words and expecting to be chased? Well, that's not true love.

Love is mostly seen in your words and actions, most at times when you're not conscious.

Someone once said, "You want to know a person's true character? Watch when they are very upset or very excited."

There are some words that I term, "cancerous". They need not be spoken because they are capable of tearing down a relationship of years.
What are some words you shouldn't use or say to your partner even in a heated situation.

1. You're so immature and inexperienced

Especially when you're older than him or her, it gives him the self-simpathy look sad At first, you accepted ... into your life not minding the age but now it has become a paradigm of judging their output and productivity. It's demoralizing and difficult to let go.

2. I really miss my ex

I know most girls do and say all kinds of "annoying" things just to provoke guys, yea! You mustn't insult him to get his attention. If you miss you ex, who cares? The door is wide open, you may leave. You're staying? Then quit acting immature giving your partner a ground to feeling they're not measuring up to the standard you've set in your mind. Grow up!

3. I guess I'll go hungry dating you

This is especially when she is having "offers" from other guys and she is beginning to doubt the sustainability of his guy's financial well. If you don't wanna date him because of your doubts in his financial capacity, simply walk out early! Not after "milking him dry", you then notice he can really really foot your bills or actually meet the demands of marriage.

4. One-minute man

As harsh as this sounds, some ladies use this term on their guys. I personally don't think any guy was born to be a "sixty seconds" guy. If it's an illness, go with him in search of a cure because you love him OR if you don't love him and detest the situation, find another excuse to tell him. It's derogatory as well as it is demeaning. Don't joke around using it.

5. Who paid your fees, for your hair, make-up, food etc?

No...you don't have to say all that to upset her/him. She already knows. Announcing it childishly incur disrespect and disregard on your person. Using such a line, you can lose her. As usual, it is demeaning for a joke.

Getting angry and almost wanting to use wrong choices of words on our partners is not a new temptation. However, we must count the pains it will cost that person and not the temporary feeling of hurt you feel.

Probably, you've been told some and terrible things have happened. You can share with us all. smiley

emusmith you got the meaning of the word sarcasm right but you are wrong to say word people say in the heat of the moment are sarcasm.

You said it yourself "You want to know a person's true character? Watch when they are very upset or very excited."

From this you can see that words people say when they are upset or excited are the ones they truly mean from the bottom of their heart and are therefore not sarcasm.

FYI sarcasm doesn't work that way, people don't say sarcastic words unconsciously, they come up with it consciously.

Anyway I got your point, we should try control ourselves and saying avoid those words to our partners.

sarcasm according to the Oxford advanced learner's dictionary means "a way of using words that are opposite of what you mean in order to be unpleasant to somebody or to make fun of them. Sarcasm does not just mean words that you shouldn't use, infact the whole concept doesn't revolve around how or what "you think it should be". Sarcasm is sarcasm and the concept or rostrum on which it is used CANNOT ALTER OR ATTENUATE ITS MEANING.

Hurtful words hurts the most because we realize they are the very opposite of sarcasm - they are the words our partners meant the most.

If someone has been saying "your d!ck is the best" and in the heat of the moment they say "and your d!ck is even too small self". Such words would hurt because you realize these words the ones the person truly think and believe in their heart.
