I rather choose for my sister or my future daughters be as successful as Linda Ikeji, Rita Dominic and Genevive Nnaji and still be single than get married to one miserable man in the name of marriage. As for the posters above and below isn't she better than millions of married women in miserable marriages. As for her husband who cares, abeg you guys should cut her some slack, she is a role model not only to the girls but to the real hustling guys out there who wants to make it legitimately

I heard Folorunso Alakija is richer than Linda Ikeja and she is also happily married.
I know u are from a broken home that's why u feel and talk this way. Nothing stops a woman from achieving what she wants in life while married.

So don't come here and preach negatively about marriage cos if every woman is a gay like u, the world would have gone into extinction...

Linda baby, I am not mocking u cos u r not married o, its not ur fault but the society that we find our sef makes it so...congrats dear.

Being smart and analytical is not a Yoruba trait alone, her savings account in GTbank averages 120m. No way she can even afford ahouse in lekki phase 1

don't ask me how I know, a banker told a banker who told me grin
there are so many things wrong with this comment up here! Someone is not happy with Linda, and the person is digging deep to know about her.
Meanwhile Linda is an igbo girl, she is not dumb to keep her money in an untrustworthy Bank like GTB! Don't ask me how, I know the bank as bank of yahoo yahoo boys.

According to Alexa website analytics, her website ranks 21st in Nigeria and generate most of its traffic from Nigeria, USA,Uk, South Africa, Finland etc. the site also ranks 2,265 in the world in terms of popularity.
In monetary terms, the more traffic u generate the more money you make from adverts. apart from that, her new app is one money making machine. that app has been taken over by Google AdSense. for every link you open an advert pops up and you don't want to imagine how much Google pays for each advert opened by an individual.
Now that brings me to the founder of this forum.
Nairaland is way bigger than lindaikeji blog in the sense that its ranked 8th in Nigeria and 1,265 in the world. its visitors are mostly from Nigeria, India, USA,Uk, SA etc. in the social media/blog/forum category it is number one in Nigeria.
Believe it or not Seun Osenwa is a big boy and and way richer than Linda. I will assume he is very reserved and won't flaunt his wealth. I guess his priority is to get a jet smiley

Linda is richer.. check the advert on her blog and compare it to nairaland

very happy for her. HOWEVER the rent alone in banana islan is not peanuts!!!! we are talking of Millions as much as 50million yearly not to talk of owning a house. to own a hous ethere you are talking of nothing less than 300million plus cos a land there alone cost as much as 200million.

good for her tho and happy for here.

Hell no I am from a love filled family but to run a successful lady down because she is not married is uncalled for. Folorunso Alakija maybe lucky to get married doesn't mean others are as lucky as her, so why run them down or discriminate against them? if you are so concern about their martial status go and marry one of them abi you no be man. Rather than my sister and my daughters getting married to fools who will maltreat them and end up killing her all in the name of marriage I prefer they remain single and rich. I am not discouraging anybody from getting married

Bro, i quite understand you, but u must realize life isn't just for yourself, sometimes you live knowing that you have someone whom u can share the rest of your life with, either or both husband and children...
God wasn't foolish when he saw Adam was lonely and gave him a wife.
After the mansion, the cars, the success what else?
Am not saying she should force herself on a gold digging man, but its high time she starts thinking towards that direction
Marriage is good but to get married to men that will make their lives miserable they rather remain single. Will you allow your sisters and daughters to marry such men?

Bros bone that kind talk. Linda makes as much as 20 million a month from her blog. If you doubt me send a mail to her informing her you want to advertise, then see the rates she will quote for you.
She charges 50k for sponsored posts and posts more than 5 everyday. Let me not mention the 1 million she charges for a background themed ad. Plus the 500k she collect for those side bar and header ads. Apart from that she has a sms subscription service for her blog and caller tunes service with MTN. And she doesn't pay for hosting, if you add all of these, you will see that she makes more than 20m monthly.
You forgot adsense as well.

To be honest I am happy for her and every other neighbour she mentioned in her post.

But moving forward Nigeria is full of people who die on a daily basis because of poverty, hunger, lack of shelter to mention a few.

I will not love to be so rich in the midst of poor people.

The question I always ask my self is what else.

After the big cars, what else.
After the big houses, what else.
After all the money, what else.

Nigeria needs a lot of help from us all.

I respect her because I know she is a hard worker and she has all the right to do what she likes with her money.

But the feeling of giving back and to help others is a feeling I don't think money can buy.

Congrats on your new mansion grin

bro dahz why she moved to banana island...
guess her new neighbours nw.. Mike Adenuga nd Alh. Dantata

Re: Linda Ikeji's Mansion In Banana Island (Photo) by hedonistic: 12:49pm On Oct 16, 2015
I'm more concerned about the sheer audacity of this development than the veracity of it.

You can't be conspicuously richer than your patrons/benefactors and yet expect to retain their patronage. I'm not sure how many of the CEOs of the companies that advertise on her blog own homes in Banana Island.

She has to be very careful indeed. Her blog can very easily lose followership when ill-will sets in; she's not selling something that buyers can not do without or cannot find alternatives for.
