Umuchu accident and the accident in Onitsha months ago by a tanker was because of the bad luck of Obiano caused by his sniffing cocaine and encouraged by his wife who is a murderer.
Just imagine what a supposed leader is saying? Is this how Mandela, Zik and Co fought for freedom.

If Nnamdi Kalu is anything near what he takes himself, he should have known better not to flirt with people's religious beliefs. His recent onslaught on catholicism failed on arrival. Instead of fighting for what unites us, he is busy chairing a crusade that will polarize the Igbos on religious lines.

Have always had my reservations about Nnamdi Kalu's ideology. And one thing I know for sure is that preaching hate against other ethnic groups won't land the Igbos Biafra on a platter, neither will it make the land of Biafra a solace zone for Igbos scattered all over different regions of this country.

What the Igbos must do is to open the Biafran territory to the world, attain complete or near economic self-sufficiency,then the struggle can be advanced from there, cos this hate and aggression will take us no where.

Worst of it all is that when he's supposed to be reconciling his differences with MASSOB, BZM and other groups knowing fully well they all are agitating for the same cause, he castigates them and calling those groups unprintable names.
I forsee a clash between IPOB and MASSOB members soon.
That's to show you how divisive this guy is, splitting our people along ideological and religious lines. Don't be surprised to hear from him anytime soon that Ndianambra must be exterminated because they are becoming less moved by his rhetorics.

The greatest disgrace about Nnamdi is his divisive tendency and trying to make all the world powers enemies of Biafra. How can he not know that in this world those world powers are the whales of the ocean that determine the rules? he is afraid of the tiny fish called Nigeria but would open his he shark called Great britain?
Does Nnamdi think we want to fight for Biafra the same way it happened in the 1960s with only 4 countries recognizing us? Does he think we want to limit military activities only in Biafraland so that the vandals can blockade us again and destroy our land pretending to be fighting "rebels"? They have not destroyed Maiduguri,Yola or Dutse because of Boko Haram and have been careful not to bomb civilians. But, if it were Igbos fighting as Boko haram, they would have been bombing maiduguri, Yola and Dutse non-stop and specifically targetting the civilian markets and churches to inflict casualties on the non-combatants.

nnamdi sure does not know enough to fight the Hausa/Fulani and their Yoruba collaborators that have engaged the best strategists to tell them how to contain Ndigbo.

If we must fight again, we must give a good account of ourselves by having more allies in the world and in Nigeria, as well as thinking about taking the war into the north and west as the theaters, not staying in Onitsha and Owerri waiting to be attacked.

Anambra female wonder twins celebrate academic excellence in Brazil

ONITSHA — IT was a day of excellence for the twins, Miss Faith and Ruth Egbunike-Agbakoba as they celebrated their awards, twinship and successes in academic life in far away Sao Paulo, Brazil, South America recently. The celebration was sponsored by the Brazilian government. Their celebration stemmed from the fact that they won the first prize at the just concluded 15th World Congress Competition on Health and Biomedical Informatics.

Wonder twins
The twins, who were born 26 years ago in the United Kingdom into the family of their London-based parents, Engr. Benjamin Oseloka Agbakoba and Mrs. Mabel Agbakoba (nee Egbunike), indigenes of Onitsha in Anambra State had started their educational career from primary, secondary and university levels on automatic scholarships from the UK government.
They attended private boarding primary and secondary schools in London and later moved to a grammar school for their advanced ‘A’ level studies, after which they enrolled into St. George’s Medical School, University of London – England, where they obtained their first class honours degrees and and later did their master’s in health studies, all under scholarship scheme of the British government.
They joined an American firm, CERNER CO-OPERATION for their internships and later worked for the National Health Service, NHS, hospitals where they garnered experiences in London, England. The miraculous aspect of them werethat they were born as premature babies after 26 weeks in their mother’s womb and first twin (Faith) weighed half a pound, while second twin (Ruth) weighed one pound, and they lived in the incubator for six months and survived at the Lewisham Hospital, London.
They are well known all over the world for their love for charity work with The Right Direction Community Education and Welfare Services, their financial and tireless support, kindness, and hard work with the Orphanage Welfare Charity Foundations and Motherless Babies, OWELFMB and their love for the Onitsha Ado Cultural Rising Stars, an organization specialized in Onitsha (Igbo) customs and traditions in United Kingdom.
As the twin babies grew up, they were best of friends, shared one bed, played games, studied, and prayed together always. They dressed alike, had scholarships, went to schools and passed out at the same time. Speaking on the development, a Muslim cleric and one of their relations, who attended their hosting in Brazil, Alhaji Dauda Ajagu, described them as Miracle Noble Twins. He said he had marveled that the twins continued to excel until they finished their doctorate degrees in England and are now considering their next line of action.
Ajagu said they are very humble, respectful, well known for their charitable and voluntary jobs worldwide with Premature Babies, Orphans and Disabled Adults and young children. According to him: “The Wonder Twins are excellent examples to the young generation because they are best of friends, great joy to be with, sociable, and highly supportive to each other at all times.”
Responding at the Brazil celebration, the twins declared: “We thank all the twins all over the world, our friends, relatives and families from all over the world for their great support before and after this great award. “We are really humbled in celebrating this award with you all.”

Pictures of Nkemdilim Obi, the Anambra teacher that won the Maltina Teacher-Of-The-Year. I said it, that a lot is happening in Anambra. Anambra public schools and its teachers are the best in Nigeria. Anambra oka ibe.

You're so right, going by what one of the judges said.

"Notwithstanding, there were also some silver linings. For instance, there is something that the Anambra State education authorities must be doing right not only because the best teacher comes from there but also because it is the state where many of the teachers scored above average. Perhaps that accounts for why candidates from the state continue to come tops in WAEC examinations every year".

Kanu is very necessary. He's a radical. He's not here to be agreed with, or easy to listen to but he's forcing people to think about those things that aren't easy to listen to and not agreeable. If left to their own devices people will only learn what's easy to their ears and what allows them to sleep easy at night. Nobody wants to believe there is a historic siege against them because of their ethnicity, even if it's the truth, because it's burdensome to acknowledge. Today whether people wanted to know it or not, I have never seen a larger number of aware Igbo people. The average Radio Biafra listener is going to feel ashamed building a factory in Kaduna and Akure. Whether he likes Kanu or not, his rhetoric has brought a revolution in Igbo thinking.

He's a radical. You're not supposed to agree with radicals, that's what makes them radical, but their dynamism always changes the way people think. Prior to Radio Biafra, getting an Igbo person to think Igbo first was an uphill battle because we can be very narrow minded and myopic. He has brought this narrow mindedness to light. Even if you're offended by him calling you narrow minded or ignorant, that offense will make you think twice before taking on narrow minded behaviors.

From your submission Daniel is making sense but the approach I think is wrong

I can see Oseloka Ilozue(Nnanyelugo) on the Chicason team. That man singlehandedly grew the Chicason congelomerate.

AnamCity:
When you create an enabling environment like we have in Anambra, investors will naturally troop in like we are seeing already in Anambra. Anambra oka ibe!

That's what people dont get and they won't know what just hit them till they hit the ground. Anambra is moving with the speed of light that's why they can't picture us.

So what is your take on Nnamdi Kanu's inssults on people with divergent opinion?
I guess you should equally ask @Bishop42 if the "free" Zimbabweans are doing better than the South Africans.

It doesn't matter who is doing better today. history isn't over. The way you're asking this question expecting someone to say that the South Africans are doing better, if your child in his or her time asks the same question you don't know if they'll anticipate the same answer so you should speak on the reality today as an absolute. The point is today Zimbabweans own their destiny. If your destiny will be poor or great, don't make the mistake of not owning it. It's only from there that you can determine it.

We're taught to be subservient all of our lives as Africans so it's hard to understand the indignity in being a well fed slave as you see in South Africa. Many in Nigeria are aspiring to be well fed slaves as opposed to masters, and this is the gravest mistake you can make yourself and your child because it means you'll eventually seize to exist as a people. Black South Africans aren't the first.

Check out my postings on the issue. I'm working on a book and I'm leaking portions on Nairaland gradually.
