hi jumiama since u used your neck result for the admission you have nothing to worry about. the ECO at the British high commission that will consider ur visa application will not ask for more than what ur school stipulated that they used in accessing u for admission wch is what they will state in the CAS they will issue u...good luck

You are right, The IELTS is not part of the requirements by FSB as stated on the first page.

I have secured admission in a UK school (M.sc Accounting & Finance), without IELTS test. I only submitted by NECO Score in English. So, far the school still has not asked for IELTS test score even though they mentioned it on their site too as a requirement....

But, what am yet to find out is if I might need the IELTS test score for VISA Application purposes.

There are a number of such schools, even the ones that u wont expect...Imperial College, Kings College, Coventry, Cambridge...they accept Nigerian SSCE results or a confirmation of English as Medium of Instruction for some of their courses. Just check the respective requirements for your choice programme

Tanx 4 dat info on ur referral. While searching for clues and hints, I ws initially shocked by the FSB screening process when I read this blog post http://rewardsrhetoric..com.ng/2012/12/mycommonwealthscholarshipexperience.html . But ur info gave me hope some sanity has been restored in d system after dat year.

Though I could assume it ddnt happen since u ddnt mention it, but I wan2 ask if ur screening dat year also featured stamping of forms/credentials at the High Court like on dat blog post??

Please man. Will the FSB accept 2 reference out of 3. I know that the commonwealth commission accept 2 out of 3 referee but will the FSB. Am for PHD by the way.

I actually applied for Commonwealth Shared scholarship last year. Firstly, you will need to apply to the UK school, after you have been offered admission, then you can proceed to apply for the scholarship on CSC website. Mind you, it is only the courses indicated for each universities on the CSC website that are eligible for the scholarship.
In this case, the university to which you are applying would serve as the nominating agency. If the university could nominate you, be rest assured that you already get the scholarship.

Thanks! i'm just so relieved that I don't have to go through fsb,applied for the scholarship last year but wasn't offered,deferred my admission to next year hoping that i'll be offered the scholarship this time around.

Assertion confirmed! the good news however is,we can apply for as many scholarships as possible. started my application but have not submitted,got a few more things to fill. plus they increased the number of referees from 2 to 3

Maybe they think that the fewer people who know, the better. see below the poster i snapped from their office containing all the guidelines. They changed the website it seems..

However, I don't know if you have a clearer version of what you snapped. If you have, please share. As it is, we can't some of the things written on the picture, especially the Timetable for screening, which is most important.

If you don't have a clear picture, could you PLEASE type out the timetable; dates and activities?

Please don't rely solely on commonwealth scholarship. Try to apply for commonwealth shared scholarship also....

Unfortunately, the Shared scholarship is Only for Master's

Plz can I apply without provisional admission yet from a Uk university
