JW are just turning the bible upside down joor! JESUS CHRIST is the KING OF KINGS no man cometh unto the father GOD except by me. They claim that they will inherent the earth. Be not decieve all jehova witnesses cos this earth will be melted with fire and brimstone once the trumpet shall sound and the righteous will follow JESUS CHRIST to heaven while those that reject CHRIST will be tormented by anti christ for seven years to receive the mark of the beast which is 666 those christian that refuse the mark after that seven year will use their blood to pay for their sins and those that accepted the mark will go to hell fire with Satan till eternity so hear the word of God and turn away from your sins so that when Christ shall come we all will meet him in glory.

I pray that God will open their eyes so they will know that jesus is the son of God and believe in trinity in one God..

I don't know if you are a Christian It's Christian belief that Jesus Christ is God. It's runs through the entire Bible. I will give you some examples:

1. John 1:1: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”. The Word is identified later in the same chapter of John 1 verse 14
2. John 1:14: And the Word was made flesh.
The word was with God, the word was also that same God?

If that is not clear, another place in the Bible states:

3. 1 John:5:7: "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one"
That above was inserted into the translations, it is not in most manuscripts. Its a false/wrong translation, that is why most translations dnt put what you quoted in there versions.

Here is God the Father calling Jesus God:

Hebrews 1:8: “But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom”.
And the next verse (verse 9)continues the word of the father: you have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God has set above your companions[/b]by anointing you with the oil of joy.
The father is the [b]God of jesus
therefore jesus is not the almighty God.
So yes - Jesus is God not as in the same person but the same form that exist at the same time

Where did I mention worship. I quoted specific verses and instead you you addressing them, you didn't.

Why would God the father call Jesus God?

Hebrews 1:8: "But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom"

Can you please answer that?

The Father still reveal he is SUPERIOR !

Verse " that is why YOUR GOD ( the God of Jesus ) has annoint you more than your fellows " heb 1:9 .

That same chapter prove Jesus HAVE A GOD !!!

The father called humans gods too , meanwhile Gods " Coz greek doesnt differentite god from God" like english language .

DEFFINETLY

Hebrews 1:8:
RS reads:“Of the Son he says, ‘Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever.’”
(KJ, NE, TEV, Dy, JB, NAB have similar renderings.) However, NW reads: “But with reference to the Son: ‘God is your throne forever and ever.’” (AT, Mo, TC, By convey the same idea.)

Which rendering is harmonious with the context? The preceding verses say that God is speaking, not that he is being addressed; and the following verse uses the expression “God, thy God,” showing that the one addressed is not the Most High God but is a worshiper of that God. Hebrews 1:8 quotes from Psalm 45:6, which originally was addressed to a human king of Israel. Obviously, the Bible writer of this psalm did not think that this human king was Almighty God. Rather, Psalm 45:6, in RS, reads “Your divine throne.” (NE says, “Your throne is like God’s throne.” JP [verse 7]: “Thy throne given of God.”) Solomon, who was possibly the king originally addressed in Psalm 45, was said to sit “upon Jehovah’s throne.” (1 Chron. 29:23, NW) In harmony with the fact that God is the “throne,” or Source and Upholder of Christ’s kingship, Daniel 7:13, 14 and Luke 1:32 show that God confers such authority on him.

Hebrews 1:8, 9 quotes from Psalm 45:6, 7, concerning which the Bible scholar B. F. Westcott states: “The LXX. admits of two renderings: [ho the·osʹ] can be taken as a vocative in both cases (Thy throne, O God, . . . therefore, O God, Thy God . . . ) or it can be taken as the subject (or the predicate) in the first case (God is Thy throne, or Thy throne is God . . . ), and in apposition to [ho the·osʹ sou] in the second case (Therefore God, even Thy God . . . ). . . . It is scarcely possible that [’Elo·himʹ] in the original can be addressed to the king. The presumption therefore is against the belief that [ho the·osʹ] is a vocative in the LXX. Thus on the whole it seems best to adopt in the first clause the rendering: God is Thy throne (or, Thy throne is God), that is ‘Thy kingdom is founded upon God, the immovable Rock.’”—The Epistle to the Hebrews (London, 1889), pp. 25, 26.

1 John 5:7, 8:
KJ reads:“For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. And there are three that bear witness in earth, the spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.”
(Dy also includes this Trinitarian passage.) However, NW does not include the words “in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. And there are three that bear witness in earth.” (RS, NE, TEV, JB, NAB also leave out the Trinitarian passage.)

Regarding this Trinitarian passage, textual critic F. H. A. Scrivener wrote: “We need not hesitate to declare our conviction that the disputed words were not written by St. John: that they were originally brought into Latin copies in Africa from the margin, where they had been placed as a pious and orthodox gloss on ver. 8: that from the Latin they crept into two or three late Greek codices, and thence into the printed Greek text, a place to which they had no rightful claim.”—A Plain Introduction to the Criticism of the New Testament (Cambridge, 1883, third ed.), p. 654.

You still haven't answered the question. You are copying and pasting the responses from scholars who don't believe in the Bible. I am asking you to address the points I have raised by yourself. While you are at it:

Can you respond to why Thomas in the Bible referred to Jesus as: My Lord and my God John 20:27-29. Thomas was a Jew and knew that associating any person to God Almighty was sin yet he called Jesus God, can you explain in your own words.

Pls point of notice, we don't request stipends for each of our publications. Our preaching work is supported by voluntary donations if u choose to, and most of these donations comes from Jehovah's witnesses because we value our work and highly cherish it. So if we accept donations from the public if only u wish to donate and not under compulsion or grudgingly. We are very interested in people getting the knowledge found in God's word the bible and not on mainly donations. If u don't wish to support the preaching work and u are really interested in reading any of our publications whether voluminous or not, u can always have it. Thanks

Nop they didnt standup.. They dont standup in wordly affairs. Thats what makes them different.

There is a place in the bible that says: Remember, it is sin to know what you ought to do and then not do it.
[NLT] James 4:17

For JW not to stand up against what they know is wrong amounts to complicity.

I take back all my arguments, for it seems JW uses a different book for guidance, which has no relation with the bible.
Re: Jehovah's Witnesses: 17 Facts People Should Know About Them by Nobody: 7:14pm On Nov 08, 2015
I am proud to be a Jehovah's witness. I wouldn't trade that for anything in the world.
The world has nothing to offer. I have the largest family known to mankind. A family of over 8m people.
I receive sufficient infact too much supply of spiritual food than I can actually take in. Jehovah has never forced anyone to worship him so all of you asking questions as if we owe you a response are laughable. Jehovah knows those who belong to him. Ours is to give a witness, yours is to accept or refuse no fight or need to resort to name calling.

Someone asked for proof that Jesus is not God Almighty, here's ur proof:
1cor15:24-28

Next, the end, when he hands over the Kingdom to his God and Father, when he has brought to nothing all government and all authority and power.z 25 For he must rule as king until God has put all enemies under his feet.a 26 And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing.b 27 For God “subjected all things under his feet.”c But when he says that ‘all things have been subjected,’d it is evident that this does not include the One who subjected all things to him.e 28 But when all things will have been subjected to him, then the Son himself will also subject himself to the One who subjected all things to him,f that God may be all things to everyone.g

Uhmm, point of CORRECTION, they are not Christians, they do not believe that Jesus is the son of God, they do not believe in eternity in Heaven, they do not believe in the existence of Hell.

They are a religion, not Christianity in any way... I do not mind if you like them, but do not compare them with Christianity cos they are not the same

Satan was referred to as "a god". The emphasis is "a god". The Bible calls us "gods" - Psalm 82:6. You and I know that is not the context of the verse in Hebrew - here is God the father addressing Jesus as God "with a capital G".

Hebrews 1:8: "But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom".

The question again is why would God Almighty call Jesus God?

I have another question. Thomas in the Bible called Jesus "My Lord and My God". Why would Thomas who was a believing Jew equate Jesus with God Almighty?

You forgot to add.

1. You party too but think birthdays are profane.

2. A jehovah witness will rather listen to kenderick lamar than to a don moen song even though don moen sings of God.

3. You don't celebrate Christmas over paganistic history but you go to church on sunday. How hypocritical.

4. A jehovah witness does not believe miracles can happen.

5. A jehovah witness sees every other Christian as 'the world' christ preached about.

6. A jehovah witness thinks saluting the flag is wrong even though Jesus asked us to give caesar what belongs to him.

7. a jehovah witness thinks praying to God in Jesus name means 'acknowledging that your prayer has ended'.

8. A jehovah witness believes you won't burn in hell as punishment on reason of John's words opposing Jesus's statements. And even though there was a clear scenario of 'the rich man burning in hell asking for water' the jehovah witness believes you won't be punished in hell.

9. The jehovah witness see enlisting in the army has sinful even though God supported the Israelis in war.

10. A jehovah witness does not believe charles found them. One of the biggest bull shits in the history of bull shits.

11. A jehovah witness prefers to see their kids unhappy than to let them marry from the christian fold apart from their cult.

Thank you.

And oh! The Jehovah witness don't believe Jesus is God and God is Jesus even though Jesus made the statement.

And finally they don't believe in going to heaven. They actually think this sinful earth will be everybody's paradise when the bible made it clear - we will catch up with the lord in the air.

The only thing good about them is that they are not these churches that preach wealth and bullshit but in the end they are all going to hell. For not accepting Jesus as worthy of worship is one good reason.... Father forgive me for judging.

I appreciate all the comments and am really moved by the positive ones especially.
I have transversed the length and breadth of christiandom through several fellowship in the university and Churches that I have attended.I even had a stopover reading completely an English version of the Quran where I made a concordance for future reference just to be sure I was doing my research right and will not need to do a Summersault.
Christ chapel was my last point of call.
The things I learnt in a few days of research into JW was more than I had learnt since I was born.

Permit me to share two - three scripture that have helped me with the Trinity issue.
and also note that the definition varies with individuals. But in its raw form can simply mean:

God =Jesus=Holy Spirit
More than that it staes that they are coequal, coeternal.
while the words are self explanatory many seems to understand the way they want.
But it means absolute equality
And if there is a thing like that, they came into existence same day but several scriptures have been cited where Jesus said that the father was greater than himself and Jesus for the joy that was set before him(rulership) he endured and was exalted and consequently earned a name above other names sitting at the right hand of (himself?)until God place his enemies as his footstool.
I usually end my submission on this with this scriptures that refer to God as ancient of days while Jesus is the son of man in Daniel 7:13,14.
I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.
14 And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.
The Son of man was brought close to(himself?) (No)but to the ancient of days.
And power and rulership was given him.

The other scriptures is Rev5:5-8
And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.
5 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.
And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.

See the lamb[Jesus]came and took the book from (himself?) No! But from the one seated on the throne.
The same lamb took the scroll from the right hand of [himself?]the one seated on the throne after John wept because no one else was qualified to open the scroll only to be told to stop weeping because the lamb(Jesus) was qualified.

This two counterpart scriptures helps remove all doubts from the mind of sincere ones ;that on the throne is the ancient of days and on his right is the lamb and the lamb received authority in both cases.
The scripture is interpreted by scripture by means of God's spirit and there is nothing anyone can do outside this.
I hope my submission will benefit sincere one to know that JWs believe that all of God's promises can only be fufiled through Jesus. But just as Jesus himself said in John 14:28
;that the Father is greater than I[Jesus],so we believe, no matter what anyone says to the contrary bearing in mind never to go beyond the things that are written as Apostle Paul wrote in 1Corinthians 4:6
And these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and to Apollos for your sakes; that ye might learn in us not to think of men above that which is written, that no one of you be puffed up for one against another.

Please visit www.jw.org for more resources that are life benefitting
Enjoy the rest of your day

Above all they have the BEST EVANGELISM network, involving both the rich and the poor. (youngest and oldest)
Their CLERGYMEN talk cautiously, unlike many others who talk back at the congregation carelessly.
Never MONEY driven nor conscious.

I always entertained them right from my CHILDHOOD and I have learnt a lot.
I just wish I can worship GOD, the way they do.
MOST times I feel ashamed as a christain when I see them.
I see them as CHRISTAIN EXTREMISTS.
they can kill for GOD.
I hope to pay them a visit soonest.

I Love them.

What a joke. Another new generation Christian. Lemme guess... Coza member?

I like Jehovah witness but I dislike two things about them.

1. They believe they are always right.

2. They will never attend your invite, but will want u to spend time with them...

1. JWs are imperfect people just like the rest of mankind. So we cannot be always right. However, whatever we beleive in is bible-based. If you are able to show us from the bible anything, we would beleive it because the bible is our authority. 2. It is not true that JWs do not honour peoples' invitations. If you invite us for any function, we would attend as long as it does not violate bible principles. However, if it does violate bible principles, we wouldn't. For example, if you invite us for a christendom meeting, we will not honour it. One of the reasons is because we do know that in those meetings women are ministers, sometimes taking the lead in worship and praying. That is utter violation of the bible's admonition in 1Timothy 2: 11, 12 and 1 Cor. 14: 33, 34, where women are urged not to speak in the congregation. So you can appreciate why JWs would not honour some of your invitations. It's not like they descriminate, but they try to uphold whatever the bible, God's word, says.
