Mental issues or not, the husband was very wrong in his actions...it would have been different if sugarbelly had been an adult and been acting irrationally but at the time of the relationship she had been seventeen, so we can't help but notice she was a minor in a relationship with an adult.

At times, I'm just torn between two worlds.. I don't really know who/what to believe anymore.

I'm not just taking sides, I'm working with facts on ground. All point to the vindication of Mustapha. We have to take position for posterity sake.

I think we are getting emotional along with his wife here. She has every right to be emotional. We don't. She hasn't said anything out of place. Neither has she vindicated her husband. The issue here is not if something happened when she was 8. Ok. I agree, she was damaged good. Does that give Mustapha the right to take advantage of the situation knowing she was 17? Let us put the statutory rape aside, did he allow his friends molest her repeatedly and psychologically abuse her? That's the issue here and not if she was abused at 8. Note she never denied the gang rape story. Is she saying this goes with the territory?

Please don't get distracted from the issue at hand. Many people have had opportunities to do this to very young girls because they were vulnerable but they backed down. That is what Mustapha should have done. Instead he turned her into a toy due to her vulnerable state.
