So I was I was able to do money order at kroger yesterday with my stanbic IBTC card. I got 999 dollars money order and was charged 69cents! It's not bad at all, the only snag is the rate of 260 dollars at which I was charged by stanbic.

For those just entering US, since nobody is sure of what is going to happen come 1st Jan, I think we can explore this option of money order, we can raise 4k in 4 days as against d 300 ATM+bank charges, the only charge involved apart from bank rate is 69 cent. You can even have cash back, but cash back over 100 dollars warrants another 3 dollars charges.

It's better to play safe and try to raise @ least wat can keep us till we finish dis missionary journey, as for me, I no budget 260 NGN for one dollar, but I refuse to be stranded in Amelica! What will be d essence of d money in my naira acct wen I can't even bring it out for my use?

Please house, can i schedule my new appointment to Lagos? The first one was at Abuja. Since Abuja didnt work for me maybe Lagos would....*sigh*

So so sad about the Loss! God will turn your story around for the best.

Reapply sharply, either of the 2 will be good.
Be WELL prepared, try and read back while waiting for your new appointment, you will get all d confidence you need. I did, and I went for my interview in Lag, fully armed. Use any opportunity you have to explain your previous loss and purpose for your savings, let hubby be ur sponsor, try to also explain ur hubby's earnings, try to pursue until you get what you want, don't be discouraged and do not be desperate.

Above all, PRAY PRAY PRAY, for no more loss and successful interview, it's actually the most important as far as I'm concerned. I pray His favour goes with you. Amen

Hmmmm. You can say that again. That A bus is something else. Hubby and I used our Emirates miles to upgrade to business class when I was travelling to have our baby. We also used it to upgrde when I was returning back with the baby. It was a very sweet flight on the A380. Baby and I had a super comfortable flight from san Francisco to lagos and to think we didn't spend a kobo o. The flight attendants took pictures with baby, gave her a teddy bear, baby wash and diapers with wipes, blanket. It was too sweet. They spoilt me with excessive drinks. A pity I don't take alcohol, would have been drunk that day. And that their recycling seat is super to sleep with the duvet. Slept like a log wood. I didn't even know I was on air and had free wifi too. Was just chatting away with with dh. Will fly emirates over and overagain.

Lol

Hello mums & dads,

Has anyone had luck with sending Wstern Union yet? My mother has roamed the streets of Lagos and they are all saying it's being suspended, from Firstbank to Uba, etc.

Secondly any bank still selling PTA? Or her only option right now is buying forex from the "Black Market"

Just wondering what could possibly have confused you, not like It was a random newbie here asking and I asked immediately you said you were homesick, also quoted that post

Sorry for using the kidnap word but was really wondering what's up with the hostility to the point that you even had to sarcastically twist my name undecided then also go back to modify a post we had moved on from undecided

The undertone is clear but, it's ok. Cheers
