U simply expressed my thought just that from the opposite side, the quality and response of people who 'must' rush to comment & relevance of the contents is drastically making mature minds prefer reading & viewing especially politics & romance. Just consider number of 'views' to comments. I have always been trying to make a female friend here but seems nothing is real or mature here. Nobody trust no one but the smart ones continue to fall victim while the real continue to doubt the truth but believe lies. How do I know? That moment you wana make a friend online and you get to see that they cant even keep a conversation. I dont wana believe all guys are like this because I've met some cool ones on some other sites, But here, when i decide to reply a PM and get on talking, i end up deleting these guys from my Bbm in a week or less cos we dont talk, have i been meeting the egoistic ones or thats the way nairaland guys are generally?!

I know some ladies will come here to say 'just dont reply the PMs', if you wana give that piece of advice, just dont bother.

Even Bovi or the craziest or the most fun-to-be-with guy could just give up on some of our girls. Sometimes you want to try your level best to see that you make friends with her and keep the conversation alive always, but she keeps giving you attitude. God! It's sickening. And she's the first to jump at the opportunity to call you proud. We all have people like that.

Imagine an 18 year old girl always waiting for you to 'greet' her first. That's their major wahala: who greets first. If you 'greet' her today, you do it tomorrow, next, next and next. She's always there waiting for it. She could be online a whole day but will never say a word to you until you 'greet' her first. Rubbish!

My brother, it's not a question of standard. In fact, I could argue that there's nothing like 'standard' in friendship/chatting. It's just mere pride sometimes. And many of them are drama queens. Sometimes you just can't put up with some people's level of stupidity.
