Seriously like you know i so much needed this right now. I'm in the break up process of my 4 years relationship with a woman i loved so much. Things haven't been smooth all along but has been interesting though. Right now nothing seems to work anymore and to make it worse, She's at crossroads with my FAMILY. That automatically put us on the breakup part!

In short, I'm so glad to have read this post right now. Feels like the soothing relief i need on my sore!

This is so true op. A girl I dated for 3years just broke up with me cus she's on IT in Abuja working with NNPC towers. Came up with the stupid claim that am cheating on her after 4months of faithfully waiting for her.

She started with saying she doesn't feel anything anymore that she feels disconnected from everybody. I didn't know this was her plan to f**ck me up.

Wasn't up to two weeks she stopped talking to me for like 2weeks and next thing I saw was an sms saying (move on with ur life) this girl actually ended my relationship of 3yrs with an sms. How insulting.

I hated myself and still finding it difficult to forgive her and it's seriously affecting me.

Hey.

People always see the negative side of situations like this but sincerely I do believe that it has pros too: by focusing on the merits, the demerits will dissipate into thin air.

I won't deny the fact that going through a breakup isn't a memorable experience. It's not easy and you can't control it either BUT you can do one thing; keep a positive attitude by not letting it break you down, your gender notwithstanding.

I put up this article because I've seen people go through the 'toughest' moment of their lives because one kinda guy or girl left them...is it really worth it? Let's see some benefits embedded in it:


1. It gives you time to re-evaluate your true needs in a mate

He says, I like a girl with this and that...If she has this size of boobs, I'll put a ring on it. Hmm, then reality sets in as she offends him. Suddenly, he talks as he would a tomato seller. She walks away. What went on? Reality. A failed relationship HELPS you see that a suitor whom you can laugh carelessly with is better than the one whose presence always command you to put up your best behaviour. Sincerely, what do you truly want in a mate? Most times, we want the temporary things and when they're no longer there, we cheat or leave. Hmm.

2. It gives you a dying passion to succeed at all cost

Lol, this happen both ways. For the guys, nothing is as painful as a girl leaving you cos you're broke, even if she's trying to hide it. This makes you go to work and employ this motto, "Get rich or die trying". For the ladies, it's especially when he despised you when you didn't look so beautiful. Somehow and someway, through hardwork , your hips and curves have all woken up. It's your time to do some "shakara".


3. It opens your eyes to see other suitors or options.

Being in a relationship can sometimes drain your pocket. You're not married but you spend like you are. Some married men spends less on their wives than you spend on her. Especially if she is materialistic and demanding, you can't save at all.
After letting her go, go and testify in church: "It wasn't easy, but God, in His infinite mercy separated us..."

6. You pay more attention to the people that really matters: FAMILY

Especially with ladies, some of them get so much involved in his life that they neglect their siblings and parents. How appalling!


7. You have a story to tell your friends, loved ones and unborn kids.

I am free at last!!! These trully are tears of joy.... lol she just walked in now and hugged me thinking I am sad she is going!!! Imagine that I am actually crying because I am so happy she is going!! Words can't express how horrifying it is dating a woman who is a total 'give me'!!

I have grayed, aged, doubled my smoking habits, and started becoming a shell all because of this relationship!!!!

Every month I spend at least 300k just to maintain my home and her!!! U think my house is big? NOoo!!! It's all mostly on her!!! Give me money for this that, that this, she breaks a phone I have to replace it, she looses money I have to replace it!!!

I will never wish my enemy to date a liability!!!

Lord have mercy I am so over come with emotion that my hands are shaking as I am typing this!!!

I had stayed so long in this because at every point in time I wanted to break up she has a way of crying and making me feel I am tossing her into poverty and suffering then she starts to say hurtful things like I will never have peace, for allowing her feel sad, no woman will ever make me happy, then I will never have a happy home so and so. Then after some time she will start begging saying it's because she loves me, blah blah blah! Then I start to feel guilty for trying to break up and then I take her back, this is what I have been going through for years!

Note she has never gotten pregnant for me so don't start thinking she has aborted or something, this is someone who has cheated on me multiple times, this is someone who is a chronic liar, at one point she wiped one of my bank account saying she was hypnotized by strangers, I lost my previous car thanks to her, she keeps multple men and claims they are all platonic. Yet at every point in time I try to walk away she makes me feel guilty for throwing her into poverty!

Now do u know what I did, for the last three weeks I have been putting it into her head that she ought to go spend time with her mum in Akwa Ibom, and she was adamant that no, but I kept at it and finally she agreed, she knows I am travelling for a meeting in our head office abroad in January so I told her when I return to Nigeria she can come back, but honestly once I drop her off this morning that the end!!.
