Be typing "God bless you" whenever someone supports ur view, when that same person says something contrary to ur beliefs now, you will not comment again, so as not to be seen going against the persons views.
I made my point clear in the op, no need of repeating the samething.

Thank you. That's simply all some do to celebrate Jesus. They worship and receive their King. They rejoice and do good works, pray and give thanks. If you do that everyday, please allow others do it on the day of their choice. December 25 is a day the Lord has made, it is not a pagan day. Pagans couldn't make a day to save their lives. The devil has no copyright, he's a thief. Tell me something, incantations and speaking in tongues, which came first and which is pagan?

Good to know that receiving jesus as king is done once every year by some people.
The celebration done on Dec 25th is not the lords doing, its man made.
The pagans did not make a day, they choosed a day to celebrate their Gods, some now choosed that same day, using mostly the same methods and practices as used by the pagans to celebrate Christmas.
All these had no precedence in our worship to jehovah, jesus , his disciples, the apostles, early christians never formulated, observe or practise such religious celebration.

As to ur question , I dnt know when incantation started but since its related to magic I think it started ealier(I might be wrong).
But what I know is that incantation and speaking in tongue are not related, unlike the relation between pagan celebrations and Christmas celebrations.

Hopelessly hollow reasoning

1.How often do you have holy communion?

2.If not on a daily basis? Does it mean that in between the communion you are not proclaiming nor remembering the Lord's death?

3.Pagans long chose Sunday to worship the sun. Christians chose the day to commemorate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Do Christians worship the sun by setting apart Sunday?

4. Bible verses and chapters equally have no precedence in ' our worship to jehovah, Jesus , his disciples, the apostles, early christians never formulated, observe or practise such....'. Why do you use verses in your bible?

5. Had you lived in the first century, would you have you eaten food offered to idols?

6. Which scripture does celebrating the Incarnation and worshipping Jesus Christ violate?

dolphinheart,
You probably ran around all watchtower publications dusting all the arguments you have ever read about Christmas and then consulted all your Witness friends and came here armed and ready to kill the beast called Christmas, only to find EVERY one of them smashed to smithereens before your eyes!

How so, you are simply regurgitating what Watchtower dictates to you, you have no mind of your own, you subject every idea and thought to watchtower just like your friends, this means debating you or 1000 witnesses on any topic are the same as you all reason alike.

What you have been repeating over and over seeing you are incapable of thinking beyond it is;

1. Once upon a time there were pagan celebrations on 25th December
2. Christmas was not celebrated in scriptures

Conclusion
Christmas is pagan

We are celebrating God manifested in flesh in 2015 and you are stuck in 300AD where they celebrated deities. You are 1700 years late to the party.

You are like that Greek pagan who died in 100BC and resurrects in 2015 only to find people worshipping on Sunday. He is shocked to find them worshipping another deity. He goes away whining that another deity stole his deity's day.

As you bang your head in frustration at the fact that all your arguments have been thoroughly debunked, you probably are reasoning as you been taught that we are too blind to see the 'truth' you have. The reality is Watchtower has blinded you from thinking. You are like this horse, very strong but physically constrained by a very weak object; chair.

I want you to think critically through what am about to tell you.

How does a fallible mind like yours conclude that Watchtower is the infallible interpreter of scriptures?

Don't rush to show me that Watchtower is the 'faithful and discreet' Servant serving you food in due time. This is because your fallible mind MAY be mistaken about this interpretation. How do you know this is true?

Is it possible for a fallible mind to understand the infallible scriptures alone?

If the answer is yes, then you don't need a mediator, an infallible mediator to interpret scriptures for you!

If the answer is no, how would a fallible mind go about identifying the infallible interpreter of the scriptures? Again, don't send me to the scriptures because am fallible and whatever I read there may be wrong!

The point is, you don't need an infallible authority to interpret the infallible scriptures for your fallible mind

Watchtower may lie to you they are infallible but did you expect them to tell you they are not?

They may give you signs of the true organization but how would your fallible mind know whether these signs are correct? By going to scriptures? But wait, you mean you need your fallible mind to go to the infallible scriptures to identify the infallible interpreter?

But if you can't trust your fallible mind in the first place, why would you trust it now? Because an infallible organization told you? This is circular reasoning. You are trying to establish an infallible authority but to do this you must first trust the interpretation of the infallible authority

Bottomline
1. Nobody is infallible, no organization is infallible.

2. We don't need to be infallible to understand infallible scriptures anymore than we need infallibility to obey the Ten Commandments

3. Even if there were infallible interpreters, there would still be a point where fallible minds meet infallibility, so there will always be a chance of getting it wrong, for how would a fallible mind understand infallible interpretations?

4. The idea of an infallible interpreter is a ruse to keep your mind captive to an individual or organization

If you celebrate your birth anniversary in july while you're born in august and sincerely make it known that you were born in august but for convenience wish to celebrate it in july it will be very glaring and understood by all. But when you know you were born in august and want everyone to accept you were born in july then you will be misleading people. My point is it is why and how you celebrate it that makes it bad. You can't be doing evil things on that day and say you're celebrating Christ and you can't be telling billions of people Jesus was born dec 25 when bible, history, weather features ,d chronology have proved otherwise.

How do we know a celebration is christian ? It must be biblical supported , any doctrine or celebration not supported in the bible IS NOT INSPIRED OF GOD !!! (1joHn 4:1 , 2 TIM 3:16 )

- Show me where Jesus Command Christmas ?

- Show me where the Apostles celebrate the birthday of Jesus ?

- Show me where Jesus Himself Celebrate his birthday ?

- If birthday celebrations are inspired of God , why didnt we found a single servant of God celebrating his birthday in the bible ?

- According to the bible , birthday celebration is found among whom ... Servants of God OR PAGANS ?

Show me the word "bible" in the bible.

Show me your prove that for example, the book of Romans was actually written by St Paul.

Thank you for your wonderful contribution. Yes, God hate lies, but the bible did not mention the day Jesus was born, chosen December 25 to celebrate Jesus does not mean "its a lie" it is just choice.

Christians Lerders who first celebrate Christmas never compromise it with
paganism, They may simply have wanted to celebrate the birth of Jesus. However, modern scholars generally agree that the date they chose for Christmas was influenced by a pagan celebration on or about that same date honoring the “Invincible Sun.”

How much freedom do Christians have in the new covenant, either individually or as a church, to express their faith, worship and thanks toward Christ in forms not found in the Bible? May church leaders establish special days to celebrate the great acts of salvation? “Once pagan, always pagan” is the way
some people reason.

Malachi 4:2
2 But for you who revere my name, the
sun of righteousness will rise with
healing in its rays. And you will go out
and frolics like well-fed calves.

Christians who keep Christmas are not pagans. They do not worship nor regard pagan gods. They honor Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. It is true that certain customs attached to December 25 are practiced in a pagan spirit by many people. But a truly Christian observance of Christmas does not include drunkenness, fornication, carousing or any other conduct unworthy of saints. After all the entrance of Jesus into the world cause a GREAT JOY OF CELEBRATION IN HEAVEN in Luke 1:46–2:38.
Don't deceive yourself. Historical record tells when Jesus was born. If Jesus was born in December then he is not the Christ.

The scripture made it clear that the Christ Birth, Life, Death and Resurrection must be according to the Law.

Any believer who observe Christmas honours demons and not Christ.

You don't do what you feel is right you do what God ask you to do. Moses did otherwise and paid for it.

No matter how well we try to make an unbiblical act acceptable, it will never be acceptable. The bible made it clear that ''...all liars shall have their own part in the lake of fire''...REV.21 vs 8, vs 27. The Roman Catholic Church, as part of their creeds and dogmas, maketh a lie, eshrined it as a doctrine, and enforced it on the rest of mankind, as at when Rome was ruling the world. It was a lie that was made to be accepted as truth, but God does not change his standards to suit anyone, or accomodate any practise contrary to His word. God hate lies, and the Roman Catholic Church lied when it said and indoctrinated it's followers and much of the world that, Jesus was born on the 25th of December, when it is not. The bible clearly said that ''shepherds were in the field watching over their flock by night''. You can't be in the field under SNOW watching over flocks in the chilling December. It was a big lie, and, irrespective of whatever it was meant to achieve, justifying the christmas lie, is tantamount to accepting lie as a norm of worship, and therefore, unsinful. But thank God, it can never be. For a lie is a lie. The truth remain truth! Therefore, all those who created this lie, and those that takes pleasure in celebrating this lie, even knowingly, are guilty of the same offence. Romans 1 vs 32.

The only thing Jesus asked us to do in rememberance of him, is the Lord's Super. Luke.22 vs 19, not his birth.

The choice to live the truth or to live the lie, is now yours to make.
...thank u

But we found in the scipture that God APPRECIATES building a house specifically for his worship ? ( 2 chronicles 6:8 ) contrary to christmas/birthday celebration that has no basis in the scripture

You are right!!! The bible did not order naming ceremony , i wonder why people do it ? Its unscriptural like its friend Christmas .

Yes ! Its Another Hole in christendom .

Swallow the undelined , funeral ceremonies are not biblical ; dancin with a casket , putting money in the casket of a dead man e.t.c and some other paganic custom associated with funerals are all pure dillusion like christmas

But yet the apostles did not celebrate Jesus Birthday ... !

Who Asked you to dedicate a special sunday as thanksgving ... Uh ? Thats funny

Heb 10:24,25 said true christians must regularly meet together , I enjoyed a weekly routine of bible study not just sunday alone . Many chose sunday to OBEY HEB 10:24,25 BECAUSE IT A DAY OFF FROM WORK , whereas christmas has no basis in the scripture .

New year celebration is unbiblical nd paganic like its fellow christmas .
