The sector is still experiencing major challenges but what do we expect? When Jonathan and his bunch of IPOB advisers stole billions of dollars meant for infrastructure provision.

In my area, we have at least 17-21 hours of electricity a day. God bless Buhari

I guess I am one of the IPOB's since the best I can do for my Nation is to be truthful and want the best for it. But you are the one who will die of frustration soon when electric supply become epileptic to the core again. When your yeye president was sworn in, hypocrites like you were shouting 'body language' when it was obvious it was GEJ and the season. Afterwards it went bad to the core and you were all silent because you knew the truth had caught up with you. If he had sat down and thought of ways to increase the production of Mw between that period, just maybe it would become useful and I for one person would be full of praises for a job well done but 7 months into the new tenure, we haven't heard of any addition to Mw on ground, no policy to smoothen what is on ground.

I don't know where you live and how true the story is O but I know for sure that where I live is a place where electric supply is supposed to be the best in Lagos but we only have electric supply for 8-9 hrs.

I pity hypocrites like you cos when the truth catches up with you it would destroy you to the root. There would be nowhere for you to hide.

Power HAS improved where I am, but it still does not change the fact that we do not generate enough electricity for our needs.

One can only hope that the govt is serious about solar power and nuclear power as promised.

Either way we must generate at least 20000MW before I declare Uhuru on power.

we dont see up to 12 hours of light in my area. infact, we are being rationed 1day off, 1 day on. the one day on light is nothing to write hone about.

Even here in the IPOB zone where I currently staY, electricity has improved grEatly. we experience at least 17-20 hours power supply. Change is gradually filling the air.

MRS NGENE, YOU ARE HAVING 23 HOURS LIGHT BECAUSE THE INDUSTRIES HAVE CLOSE FOR THE YEAR SO PHCN HAVE NO CHOICE THAN TO DIVERT POWER TO RESIDENTIAL AREAS.

Apart from the fact the we operate a 2 days ON and 1 day OFF at ijegun . I can confirm we now have 8 hours electricity a day. Mostly late night and early morning.
All this was since the announcement of the increase thou... About 4 days ago.

Having power is relative to where U live. It preceded GEJ reign. In Rivers State there are areas that enjoy almost 24 hrs of power like Orazi. But my area at Orekpo, ada-george. Power is almost a taboo. Even on Christmas day, we didn't receive power

In my owm the improvement is mind boggling and scary. They are currently doing an average of 23hours 30mins everyday.
