To the Rule of Law apostle, most of you have been brainwashed by so many civil society groups receiving foreign funding to shout rule of law and the lawyers who depended on the rule of law to satisfy their clients looting and get paid with fat legal fees.

Do you people understand rule of law more than the Americans? Why do they have Guatamano prison? Some of you may be thinking I am illiterate on this subject just to castigate me, pls note that I am a political scientist, and I know more about rule of law than some of you. I also know that, when there is conflict of arms as some like Kanu is preaching, the first casualty is the law. There has always been a precarious balance btw law and real politic. That has always been a departure point between political scientist and the lawyers. It is the duty of the president to ensure anyone who works to liquidate Nigeria receive a just recompense. It is also his duty to ensure they didn't hide under the technicality of the law to insult our common sensibilities. By the way, the mere fact that you have bail for one offense does not make you immune to arrest on other offense, there is so much ignorance about in Nigeria. Will any civilized country allows you to come in without passport? That is a threat to national security, and for the sake of national security anybody can be held under special circumstances to protect others. By Kanu action, can you buy back this that have lost their lives? By Dasuki actions, do you know how many widow and orphans out their in the IDP Camps or soldiers that have lost their lives? Some body is now seeing doctors in London for what. Are we senseless or we are just full of hatred for a government that want to help us from our friendly and brotherly looters.
it's the Guantanamo Bay prison facility located on American soil ? Is the facility meant for financial crimes like Dasuki's case ? We should stop beating about the bush here. This is a democracy which runs under a constitution, it has taken some countries (e.g. the America you brought up here) hundreds of years to fine tune their constitution to work for them and it's amendment is still a work in progress. Now why people like me are skeptical about our president's utterances is because today its Kanu and Dasuki who have their bail rights being trampled on even after various court orders have been given, tomorrow it might just well be you and your loved ones. Already, Buhari has pronounced them guilty as charged without any help from a court of competent jurisdiction, what will happen to an ordinary Nigerian like you ? Nigerians voted Buhari as a democratically elected president and he swore an oath to uphold the constitution, quote me any time any day, if Nigerians needed a dictatorship we would have asked for the military to come back and suspend the constitution but no, we prefer a democracy warts and all. So if Buhari feels he can't operate or perform optimally in a democratic setting, then he should resign and hand over to his VP, if Osinbajo feels the same way, he should also resign but the constitution and rule of law must remain supreme.

How people are supporting the President on this is really shocking. Shebi dem say one is Innocent unless pronounced guilty by a competent COURT of law. Since when has the president become a court? Are we still under Military dictatorship? This precedence he is setting, hope no one will complain when it becomes a Standard. I weep for APC e-agents
you people cry out human right violation when political thieves are detained and turn your faces away when weak, defenceless nigerians get jailed for many years without even seeing a judge. Shame on you!

I can understand his anger and frustration. Those two dont deserve bail. I know the brainwashed IPOB morons will insult me but its the truth. If you dont want peace for nigeria then you will never have peace. Simple. Let them rot in jail.

I support the president 100%

Insult me if you are a goat

No I'll not insult you but educate you about the rule of law . You want a good governance in a democratic government , please understand that we are not in a military rule anymore or are we? This is the president who promised Nigerians that he will govern this country by obeying the constitution , what is the need of fighting corruption when he can not simple obey the law of the land , corruption is not just stealing money not obeying the law of the land is even worst then stealing money . A lawless country is a failed state. I want you to know this, Nigeria is the way it is today because of people like Buhari if he think he is bigger then the law he is not worthy of being a leader . A leader who is encouraging a weak judiciary can never i repeat can never succeed as a leader...........

Any reculcitrant fly follows the corpse to the grave, kanu deserves no bail because buhari is a pharoah that knew nt joseph, note that the consequence of pharoah's wickedness was to drown in the red sea, buhari release kanu or face the wrath of God. When ever a man's heart is hardened next thing that is waiting for him is destruction. Buhari should be warned.

President Buhari should know by now that this is a democracy and not his illegal regime of 1984, if the constitution allows for bail payment in any offence then the rule of law must prevail except we've suspended the constitution and are now practicing "rule of Buhari" . Like I've said severally here, if our president can't operate under a democracy, then he should resign.

If a crocodile will swallow it own egg, what will he not do to the flesh of a frog?

If this government could detain the rich even after a court grant them bail, what will it not do to the common man in the street?

These is abuse of power and disregard for the Constitution, we should condemn it now, or it might happen to us someday and no one will condemn it for us. Even now the police and army are already abusing our rights, what will they not do now that this government has no regard for the Constitution?

Nigerians be wise!!!!
