I'm a resident and indigene of Orlu geopolitical zone.
After a turbulent week as a result of fuel scarcity and hike in Imo state , I'm compressed to ask this question ; Why do we buy fuel between #120 -130 and the same fuel is being sold #87 in the north? Does it mean that the govt only subsidises fuel that goes to the north.... and easterners can buy high.
simple, filling stations in the north agreed to sell at N87 while those in the east agreed to sell at N120-130.

Don't be foolish friend. I am a SouthWesterner but I live in the North, the price of PMS is not $87 around here as you thinK.
Its only NNPC and very big filling stations that fear God that sells at the regulated price of #87

Which north are you talking about? Is it Kaduna where it is sold for N105 or Gusau where it is sold for N125 or Sokoto where it is sold for N130?

Guys hear this o...

Have you ever seen a video on YouTube which you just really wanted to see but afraid of the huge data consumption that follows it. Don't worry with http://wapclip.ml, you don't need an app or long process. You can easily download such videos with one click just input the name of the video in the search box and select the format of the video (3gp, mp4, webmv, audio only....) which you would like to download.

Who are the "they" you are referring to that intentionally short change the supply in the South ?

The guy in charge of all the related parastatals (NNPC,DPR,PPMC all under him) is an Igbo man and a southerner, how come he is short changing his own people?

Na mumu of the highest order you go be to believe all this crap you have written!

Bryan37:
God
Even people wey never sell fuel for lucozade bottle talk more of filling stations will open their dirty mouth dey rant nonsense?

Let me educate u
Independent Marketers find it very difficult to Buy from direct from NNPC depots in Lagos because of inadequate supply/unavailability of this product to meet demand

So dey buy from independent depots who sells this fuel to them @ d rate of N97 to N120

Come North to Kaduna here, the volume of PMS in d NNPC depot is even excess, they intentionally short change the supply in the South even though d petrol is being imported from the South.

They remove all sort of beauracracy that makes it difficult for Northern independent Marketers to access this liquid.

Mi brother if u know how this Northerners short change southerners on many things u will weep 4 dis country.

Who told u that N60 can buy u a liter from depo

Thank me later.

You have to be specific, its not all the eastern states that sell fuel at 130/ltr if they sell blame your people govt has nothing to do with price disparity, its just greediness of your brothers.

All I can say is that the op is a trouble brewer. OK, we accept that petrol goes for #120 in the east. Why didn't you reference it with other part of the country? Must it be the north, Cuz our president is from there.

Most likely due to greed and wickedness. Many of them hoarded fuel and created artificial scarcities in December to spite the government and with hope that with subsidy removal (no subsidy in appropriation bill/budget), prices will increase and they will sell to maximum gain. Unfortunately for them, FG reduced pump price, so they have to sell at a loss for 86.5.

Orlu doesn't have nnpc mega stations. No reliable brand name like total, Mobil or conoil.
