Great!

Congrats to patriotic citizens who understood that the Ineffectual Buffoon was not an option in the last election. If not, Nigeria would have been put up for sale as we speak.

Watch wailers and IPODs come here to shout "propaganda" as if they've been permanently programmed to be deaf, dumb and daft at the same time.

We will definitely get there this time around......

God bless Fashola
God bless PMB
God bless Nigeria

You can now successfully get rid of excess body fats with our natural products, check my signature for more details

God bless you too... We are having light here at least 12/13hrs a day. The only thing left for PMB and his team to work on how economy. Though it isn't a miraculous thing that can be fixed like that but God will see him (PMB) through

Just be patient, Rome was not built in a day!
We still have 7.5 years to tidy the entire Naija.

Let's be frank, electricity distribution has really improved compare to the previous administration.

Even though things doesn't seems to be the way we Nigerians clamour for, we still need to give this administration time to iron out the outstanding problems in all sector.

Rome is not built in a day and I expect wailers to keep calm, and also understand that it will take time to build a better Nigeria.

A pat on the back doesn't even suffice. Brazil have a population of 200,000,000 people and they generate 92,294MW. Nigeria with a population of 300,000,000 should be hiding our head in shame for a meagre 5,000MW that is even virtual undecided

Heya!!! When last did u go for medical evaluation?

Good! But let's have some level of consistency going foward. It's not beyond us.Government should encourage real investors to come in and invest in transmission, because from reliable indicators, that's the albatross in the power sector.

Yet supply isn't better.Nevertheless, are we sustaining it or just fo us to say well done because it is useless if it is not sustained and improved upon
mikeapollo:

Nonsense! All propaganda to give a fake impression and deceive people.
To hell with your megawatts. After all the light is not available for us, and the rate has been increased unjustifiably
jidxin:
faaaashola u ve started lying abi ....hmmnnnn 5k my fooot no lite here since ystrday
4Tees:

Same story in my hood in Baruwa. It's a sad story for light. Never ever reliable! The 2 days ON, the max time you'll have light is average 4 to 5 hours (if at all you do). And when you are supposed to be OFF, sharp sharp before 10am they have removed the cut-out!!

No man, electricity has improved across board and it has nothing to do with politics but policy. Power is a private thing now. The best any government can do and claim credit for is to leave them alone. The worst they can do is to interfere. Just make rules and laws, monitor them and that's all. There is no political gaming here.

170,000,000 population and generating 5000mw of electricity and Nigerians celebrate....now i see there is no hope for that country. its even a shame for the government to announce that. it shows the level of backwardness in that place. it should be the country generating the lowest mw in the world. FYI i am not politicizing any thing here, just stating the fact.

I just pray ambode nd his crew finds solution to the problem over there.

Good to know. Bit by bit we will get there. We can see that the worst private business is better than the best government enterprise. You can only imagine if NEPA had been privatised in the 80's. So what are we still doing with the NNPC. Sell the damn thing now. Its unimaginable what one would have been if NITEL remained your friendly phone company. SIM Card: 100k. Minimum Recharge card: 10k. Phone lines: 3 million. (1 line for you and your lineage), Call drop: 80%. Internet: subject to the approval of the presidency. Nairaland: banned Scandals: Nitelgate 300 billion, SIMgate 700 billion, registrationgate 1 trillion, submarine cablegate 2 trillion, gateway gate 1 gazillion. Think its a joke. Look at the petroleum sector.

Why are we so slow in Nigeria

Chaaai... Power improved drastically after Buhari took over, wailers said it was because the dams were full from the rains.
Now, the country's power generation has hit a new peak, despite gas / pipeline vandalism and sabotage efforts from enemies of progress....

I am waiting for what they will attribute this new feat to..... Maybe they will say it is harmattan dust.
hahaha you bad

I know that and have nothing against opposing government. It was and will ever be necessary. Not everyone will see things the same. I am not a fan of big government. I personally believe people develop best when allowed to express their liberties. So I won't support one or the other.

Power generation and transmission is remains very key areas where more funds and investment are needed.
