Before Jonathan, Nigeria earned more than $800 billion Dollars from oil. Where is the money? No electricity, no water, no roads, no train, no trace of the money stolen.

Because Jonathan lost election - because Jonathan from the minority must go after Boko Haram assault - that's how Dasukigate come blow open.
You forgot all the military leaders?
OBJ left and accusations of $16 billion stolen from the energy sector alone. Who investigated that? If OBJ was defeated in election, how the money was stolen could have surfaced.

My own question is simple. People say things for a reason. What is the reason, the purpose, the direction, the end game of Buhari's responses.

I respectfully disagree! Nigeria is not the United States of America or the United Kingdom, we are still a developing country and need to stop pretending otherwise. The economy is in shambles and almost every sector is in decline, this is mostly due to corruption and partly due to our best human resources leaving the country for greener pastures. The president was responding to a specific question and gave the right answer! This is not the time to be mixing words trying to be politically correct. If live is hard abroad come back home and develop your fatherland, the answer is blunt but it is absolutely right!

And the best way to lure professionals back "home" is by lumping them with the criminals in the international media, no? What type of decent person would listen to that and feel the need to go back "home"? Unless he wants the criminals to return home to contribute more criminal activities to the utter destruction that naij is perpetually in.

What's at "home" for folks to go back to, anyway? Didn't he also complain about "home" when he said he became the president at the wrong time with all kinds of stories that touch the heart, at the same function? Yet he wants folks to return to that mess, especially when he can't even create a decent budget and he has been a dud since he took over, while blaming everyone but himself - rather than focus on doing what he was elected to do. He needs to watch his mouth and learn how to talk.

I saw a bit of his interview today with some naija guy working for BBC. And he was just passive aggressively speaking with a commanding tone. That's not a presidential way to speak to the media. He needs to work on that.

CAUSE YOUR PRESIDENT HAVE AGREED YOUR COUNTRY ARE BREEDING THEM

Agreed. But why would baba be seeking medical treatment abroad when we have plenty hospitals here in nigeria? Instead of fixing and patronising ours here, he's busy flying abroad each time he faces any challenge.

It baffles me at times when I read comments made by some Nigerians on critical issues like this. ..now, I respect Sen. Ben and some of his views but I disagree with his comments on this. I'm not saying the president has done a perfect thing by his remarks but we have to look at issues the way they are and stob being bias in our thinking.
We are all aware of the havoc that some nigerians in diaspora are causing. Credit card frauds, dating scams, internet banking transfer frauds, drugs, name any illegal activity inn this world, a Nigeria will surely be tagged along. So what the heck are talking about biting back at the president for saying the truth when we all know the truth. Truly the truth is bitter and it hurts when its been told. We Nigerians hate the hear that some of us are criminals but sadly, its the truth.
To address a problem, you have to identify it, sometimes accept that you have the problem then look for lasting solution.

You may think it makes the president happy to make such comments about his people but it doesnot. He just can't deny anymore with so much facts and evidences lying in front of him. The white peeps keep records and document even the smallest incident especially when its relates to foreigners. So pause for a moment and think about it before you call for PMB's head, has he told a lie about the criminal activities of some of us? The naswer is no.

In my own opinion, he working on building a better image for us. We can't be denying the obvious when the whole knows already.

We should call for change and pray that the people involved in these disgraceful acts have a change of heart.

Once again you still don't get it. Buhari is not a cosmetic president, everything about him is shockingly blunt! If you are going to leave the context out and just focus on what he said then it's never going to make sense. You claimed the president is lumping all those abroad with criminals, this is a flat out lie! He only mentioned that it would be hard for Nigerians to be treated fairly when our reputation crashed from the actions of Nigerians abroad committing criminal acts. I've been working abroad for quite some time now and I deal on a daily basis with different types of people and trust me Nigerians are more famous for 419 scams than education or innovation. The president just gave them an option,if they can't deal with poor treatment abroad then they should come back home and develop their country. I'm sorry you feel like the president is a dud, I completely disagree with you on that! I believe the right choice was made by Nigerians and I would rather have a Buhari that seems cold and blunt on the international scene than a government where stealing is not corruption!
