1. Wake her up when you wake up.

2. Buy an alarm clock.

If you ask me though, 0600 is not late.

It is indeed your responsibility to be strong where your wife is weak, as it is hers to be the same for you..

It is, NOT however your responsibility to teach her to be a responsible adult. That was her parents' job,and if they skipped a lesson you are welcome to be miffed at them. However, to take over their role as parent when you are husband is, to put it nicely, Creepy undecided

So WAKE HER UP!! undecided

How is 0600 late?

and this your question annoyed me sha. what is your business with when your wife wakes up? let me guess......so that she can attend to every of your needs early abi? And you think a virtuous woman should be up before 6:00am? If that is your definition of a virtuous woman then I think you are the problem not her. When the purpose of a thing is unknown, abuse is imminent. Is there a logical reason for her to be up before 6:00am? Like work? Or kids going to school? No? Then you have no point dear. That you can do it, or that other women can do it doesn't mean she should do it. She is not you and she is not them. And it does not mean she is not well-brought up. Leave her alone and stop trying to shape her into what you think is a virtuous woman. Is she hardworking, soft-spoken, God-fearing, decent, humble, etc...? Now that is what makes a virtuous woman. I always wondered why they sweep every morning in Nigerian homes when the house is clearly not dirty, I mean, you swept yesterday and even when something spilled, you swept it immediately. Why sweep a house that is not dirty just to create more chores for yourself? I was get a reply of it is how it is done or something along that line.....mtchew. I even thought you wanted to say she wakes up by 10:00am. mtchew!

This seems difficult to understand but the answer to the following questions may help:
1. Whic town are you dwelling?
2. Which kind of work are you and her doing?
3. How many children do you have now?
4. Which time of the evening she usually sleep?
The answers will enaboe us to understand your problem with waking up by 6 am.

Funny thread.

What will you say if you have ones like us that don't wake up until 11:00am if we don't have to go to work or school?

Leave the woman alone if her waking up at 6:00 is not harming the home in any way.

Stick to dis advice... It will surely work if u use it well

Go to the market.... Buy diff sizes of canes eg 12'',15'',18'',20'',25'',30'' in diameter and not less than a meter in length..... Always keep dem by ur side weneva u go to sleep

Wen it's d time u want her to wake up...... Just gv her 3lashes of 15'' n 25'' depending on d degree of awareness.....

Thk me later

you guys aren't d same, waking up so early isn't so OK with some people's body. plus d prob is not d waking up late but that she doesn't observe morning prayer or anything cos u said even if she is awake she won't wake up till 6am.
you are her priest, her head like Christ is d head of the church. she may be lazy in prayer but you have to be strong. why not adjust your routine to accommodate I guys praying together by 6am first thing when she wakes up.
you need to let her understand d importance of prayer first, u can't make her do something she doesn't believe in every morning.

If you don't have kids yet and your wife isn't working, then I think 6am is fair. Why would you want her to wake up by 4am when she doesn't have what to do? That's just selfishness. Would she just wake up and be looking round the house all in the name of waking up early?

Your measure of a virtuous wife is waking up early and praying?
How are her daily task in comparison to yours?
Do atheist ladies not make good wives?
Look outside the box and stop been blinded by religion and fictitious instilled values!!!

So your problem is that she doesn't pray? SMH, there are other ish going on in the world and all you can think of is that your wife gets up late and doesn't pray. Oh the religious mind.
