stokfrick:On the other hand, any banking stock that declares a positive result in the midst of all the profit warnings will be soaring high. |

stokfrick:The profit warning from Diamond Bank is expected. The bank had been in a deep mess since last year when one of the top executive went into politics in order to become the governor lol. Anyway, their Q3 result should say much when it comes to expectations of 2015 audited results by shareholders'. It is very sad that many of these companies are taken shareholders' for a ride and no one is calling them into order. Let's see what they are up to this time. To everyone interested in banking stocks, look for the banks who had and can weather the storm irrespective of the goings. Better days are ahead of US (everyone). Have a blessed weekend everyone. And don't forget to take your happiness as your major priority ![]() |

Profit warning here and there..No wonder dey no release result since...Last week, CBN was used as the excuse for the delay..So which is the next excuse? Remember, no company will delay a good result - B2br |

Born2berich:next is zenithbank |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Godisfaithful: 6:21pm On Mar 11, 2016 |
Born2berich:Sir Born, i can attest to the fact that some companies delay a good results when a very top official want to accumulate many or millions of units at a particular price and the result will be published when the set objectives are meant. Forget the defatigable excuses given out, this happened all over the world . Just stick to what works best for you and make money lol |

Godisfaithful:Oga myjoy, can you mention 3 companies that released good result after delaying result for several weeks or months while their pairs have released result? |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by megainvest: 6:55pm On Mar 11, 2016 |
Why should the profit warnings issued by FBNH and Diamond come as a surprise to anybody who has seen the Q3 results of these 2 banks. It was obvious! Diamond PAT was already 20% down as at Q3. No biggie here. |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by feelamong(m): 6:59pm On Mar 11, 2016 |
megainvest:Diamond bank has already lost 33.9% YTD...its 52 weeks low is 1.33... like I said before if you have bought at any price above the 52 weeks low, you might have to wait to buy more.. I don't think it will fall below 1.35... but then what do I know? ![]() |

| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Nobody: 8:17pm On Mar 11, 2016 |
I like the way diamond bank warning came. They said lower than last years own, not materially low. They also used the opportunity to do damage control. Its better that the yards /materials. |

ufotty2001:Let's wait till then. I want to compare fidelity and diamond in figures. I stopped trading diamond long ago cos they are tight fisted. I've said it b4. Check fidelity history in div payment , then check diamond. |

mercylicious:And not only did they decide to release the statement on a Friday, they made sure the market closed before releasing the statement...calculated- they obviously have the interest of their shareholders at heart. Imagine they had released the news on a Monday... |

Zenith will grace the Market with their results, on a Monday to allow for a "through out the week bull", If the results are good. I expect it to be. I put all my eggs in one basket this time around. The Zenith basket! Bought tesere units of Oando yesterday to test the ground and sold all off today at 10% gain. Come join am to my Zenith portfolio. 100% Zenith. If I sound confident, forget. Na God I dey believe now. I keep looking at my analysis why I chose Zenith in the first place hoping I got all angles covered. |

Asmara:The form is used to process your signature to the registrars. That or Banker's confirmation are the only way your signature would be accepted. It's even high time SEC phase out this mundane process. |
