You should load a picture, it's always better if you imputed it from the beginning when testing your pix for compatibility.

However, you could submit without a picture but you must go to the interview with a 600X600 (2by2) white background passport photograph.

You and others must understand that you were rejected because you did not show strong enough proof that you would return home.
Unless you work on that and correct your mistakes you will just be refused again!

*You can apply anytime, at least 1 month ahead of your planned travel date.
*As per hotel, you can and you may not... But you'll likely need an hotel address while filling your DS160.

Just continue filling the form till you get to the end where you are asked to upload your passport photograph, there you'll find an option to do so just before your sign the electronic signature. Best of luck.

In essence, you haven't reached or handled the "photo" upload section. Are you done with the "security and background" section up to its part 5? If yes, proceed to uploading your photo then. Till you are done with this section, you can't move on to REVIEW just yet. Okay, note that if you upload a picture and it doesn't meet up with the outlined standard, the "continue without a photo" option will be activated

Upload a/any picture, as long as it doesnt meet standard, it will be bounced, then the "continue without a photo" option becomes active. Better yet, go to a photo studio, snap a US embassy standard photo, ask them to send/download it to you so you can upload it yourself. The earlier we all start learning to upload the photos ourselves, the better for us all because the submission of DS160 form "without a photo" model is being phased out gradually now. Cheers

Hello everyone, Abeg LadyG I need your advice/opinion. I got my visa almost 2years ago with my husband, our purpose of visit was for vacation in New York. At the time we applied and got the visa we didn't have any relation or family in the US so when asked at the interview if we would be staying with anyone we said no. Later that year my sister and her family got their green card and moved to the US. Now I'll be traveling next week with my mom to visit my sister in Maryland, do I need to inform the embassy that I now have a sister in US and I will be staying with her and I will be going to Maryland and not New York as stated during my interview? I intend to go with my marriage certificate, change of name and birth certificate to prove my relation with my mom. Note: my husband has already used his own visa but he enter thru New York so there was no problem. I just don't want any wahala at the poe. Thanks.

IMO u don't need to. At the point u applied u didn't have family in the us. Subsequently u did. If a hyper tech cbp queries u, u state it as it is. Your story is verifiable.

2. Are u the child's legal guardian? U should be able to travel with her. Go along with the divorce papers though with all other supporting docx.

She have been able to save up to 250000 now thou she will be getting financial help from her Uncle later but not so much just to cover some areas.
