people no sabi read this statement was made in 2014 to support gej's motion, make he come make such again today if he is still icpc boss if he won't be shown the door to tell the difference. most of what our politicians do is to steal what we put in their care, so why then do we call them corrupt? some people sha, anyway, stealing is now corruption and no matter how much Nwobodo stole, we will send him to the cage. 1 Like |

Goke7: After all, Nta the ICPC Chairman was Gej's boy and appointed by him. Who knows the game he is playing by concurring with his former boss. Corruption is the generic name of any deviation from normal norm and stealing is a specific name of taking what does not belong to you. Therefore, stealing is a deviation from normal norm i.e. stealing is an abnormal behavior, so stealing is corruption. 1 Like |

Pidggin: He is justified may be in the opinion of his supporters like you. According to Wikipedia - "Corruption is a form of dishonest or unethical conduct by a person entrusted with a position of authority, often to acquire personal benefit.[1] Corruption may include many activities including bribery and embezzlement, though it may also involve practices that are legal in many countries.[2] Government, or 'political', corruption occurs when an office-holder or other governmental employee acts in an official capacity for personal gain". I think you can see the word 'embezzlement' in the definition which could be well regarded as stealing of public fund? Wise up please. 1 Like |

NobleAngell: stealing is a criminal offence. if a child steals meat in the pot of soup, will u say he is corrupt? wont u call him a thief! corruption is a crime, stealing is a crime so in otherwords stealing can never be corruption, period. both r crimes n shud be treated differently. if somoene steals u call d police on him, but incase of corruption going to police is like fetching water with a basket. |

AZeD1: Explaining what he calls constitutes corruption, the ICPC chairman said: “If I walk into your office and I say that I have been sent by the president that this contract you are about to award must be awarded to me and now drop his card or the president’s card on the table. This is also an offence under corrupt practice.” Read and understand, is this not a clear illustration of illicit enrichment? 1 Like |

Stealing has never meant the same as corruption. Even the English language dictionary did not define both to be the same. It's only the self-assigned most sophisticated group in Nigeria who wanted power back to their Alimi masters in the north who consistently ridiculed Jonathan over the meanings of the two different words: stealing and corruption. Zombies, they got what they wanted; Jonathan left. Zombies and their masters have once again returned poverty, darkness and dictatorship to Nigeria. Zombies now shift on calling Biafrauud, Biafrat. |
