Is the $250-$280 inclusive of shipping fee to and fro?
For the person that asked why people use agent for visa is mainly because they don't have enough time for example, I had just one week to process the visa, so I didn't want to take chances so I didn't think twice about using agent.

And again, someone complained of her application being abandoned after submission even after paying for expedited.
And again, the difference in price is not really so much. If it were to be up to $300 difference grin, I trust mamas here cos they
Must dig out ways to go about it.

Okay

Hello everyone... So my missionary journey is coming to an end. I used Centennial Medical Center in Dallas and had the best possible experience. From the doctors to the nurses, the room, hospital food... Everything was 5-star standard. I'm really impressed.
Doctors fee- $3,000
Hospital fee- $3,000
Baby nursery- $618
Anaesthesia- $1,500
Labs- $75 (brought my report from Lagos though so did just a few)
Pediatrician (2 visits)- $209

The only snag was that it took a while for birth certificate to be ready. Didn't get it till my LO was almost 4 weeks old so had to go do passport at the main passport office, took 3 days then applied for Nigerian visa myself online.

Thank God for a beautiful and fulfilling journey. The timing of going back home tho- no fuel, no light, heard the heat is gangster... Kai! God dey

I pray for all about to embark on this journey and those here already waiting that God will perfect everything and grant you favour in Jesus Name, Amen! xx

Hey mama's, please help with a few questions please:

1. Has anyone ever traveled with Qatar airways?
What's your take on it?

Cos I'm about to book Qatar to Atlanta(at 35 weeks) and I'm a bit skeptical, no previous experience.

2. There's an 8 hour layover in Doha; Any experience with airport lodging (cos I really would be glad to rest my big bumpy self, and legs, even if for 4 hours)

3. With this itinerary, my POE will be Miami. Good or scary idea?

Kindly help a preggy sister out smiley

1. Qatar is a good airline no doubt, plenty food and drinks...my challenge is just that you're 35weeks...don't worry you should be fine.

2. Airport lodging isn''t bad at all, make you no go sleep forget your flight. Your alarm must be right in your face.

3. You shouldn't have a problem with your POE provided you've armed yourself with all proofs. All the best.

Hello all, I need ur advise, I called Dr. Ansera's office and I was told he does not give email correspondence and that when I get to the US, I call the office and he tells me when to come for my appointment. What do I say at the POE when asked to show Dr's correspondence. POE is at Dulles, Washington DC.
I will be using Inova Alexandria Hospital VA.

Mam, Dr ansera will not give you any correspondence. Why don't you try another dr or hospital like PG hospital. I used dr ansera but I didn't enter thru dulles, I was just lucky that the poe I used, I wasn't asked for dr correspondence. But I can't say same for dulles cos I heard it's a bit tough there, so it's better you are well prepared to avoid stories.

Go with your soulcare dear. Give Mumsy the details. Yes, please go ahead and be the sponsor. Its more straight forward.

@bolded i am not sure what you mean....interview? If yes...no you cannot.

Glad you found it funny. Now hubby knows your Nairaland nickname. Congratulations on your PTA runs.

You are most welcome. Mumsy will be favored by God's grace.

Cheers.

Chai! E mi nikan tan? You just gave me skull expansion dear. MANY MANY MANY THANKS FOR THIS O.

Now see ehn, Myself, hubby and son got the

visa for vac purpose last year and we used it for that. We stayed in a hotel in Florida, we were asked during the interview if we'd be staying with fam members and we said NO.

Sent notification of intent already and got the usual response.

Now we intend staying with a fam member but I don't know their status in the US and I don't want to do trial and error, so we r doing soulcare. Will dis pose a problem? Status do change ryt?

Can I go in with her?

Since she's my mum and the amt u quoted is in d range of what I take home dou hubby earns more than dat and u also said it's more straightforward if I'm the sponsor, will just tag my name as the sponsor.

The bolded gat mi rolling mehn...had to show hubby sef, almost fell off the chair while laughing.

Again God bless u for the time o.

Did you ask why she needed to be given a temporary County ID when she is simply a visitor? Somebody may be trying to pass your wife off as a resident to qualify for certain benefits reserved only for tax paying citizens and permanent residents. Better ask questions before you inadvertently enjoy a forbidden fruit.

No forbidden fruit there. There are certain conditions you are required to fulfill and once you do, you qualify for the I. D. The most important one being your visa and the duration you were stamped in for. Eg 6months stamp entitles you to a 6 month temporary ID.

@ greeneophyte pls check my posts for further info. I used JPS and despite all my plenty issues they performed way beyond expectation. @ JW I no be agent o! Na Govt (County Hospital).

People did on my first missionary journey. They used Washington office though. Those ones used to pick their calls. Eventually the price difference was minimal. But I preferred it because when its done through Atlanta office they use hand to write the visa which i find very annoying. I hope this has changed. As far as i am concerned; its a defacement of the American pali.

Please check with Delta. They didn't allow a lady on my flight back to Naija, they said she needed to get a returnbticket for her son since he's American, hmmm we all had to contribute our remaining change for her cos she was really short of cash...please confirm withbthem no harm doing so...lol dear!

I used Delta. It was a one way ticket with Naija Visa. Funny thing is, I called them like 3 times and the different agents said I needed to get a return ticket for baby since it's Naija Visa on an American passport. I boned and got to the counter and finally paid for a one way ticket at IAH, I guess it depends on the agent.

I ve got no info on VBAC friendly docs in houston.

you may have to google "VBAC friendly docs+houston area"

read up on the reviews.. very important so that you dont end up with a doc that's already planning to put u under the knife whilst sweet talking you with encouraging VBAC..

I think it's okay for the wife to fill Medical, but the man should fill business/ tourism. It's the same b1/b2 visa but she's the one using Medical facilities.
My reason is simple, if they both fill medical as the reason for the trip then the financial scrutiny is higher. My opinion sha, and also how I filled forms for Dropbox renewal for my husband and I.

I'm June bound. Using Dr F too. Might use soulcr

Madam. The issue is that you lied during the interview thereby complicating your matter. Its called a material misrepresentation and an offence. What do u want us to tell you?
My advise for you is to go on vacation ist.

Please silent readers and visa hopefuls, make we no dey further push this country's reputation down the drain. Its making stuff harder for honest applicants

Misrepresentation is an offence. My dear, you lied. This isn't good at all. You should have just said you are 3 weeks pregnant and you will go for delivery when you are due. That's honesty. I am angry for you. As a true Nigeria, enough of the mud dragging of this our dear country.

What actually ticks me off is That folks WiLLFULLY and KNOWINGLY lie at the embassy. They know the implications. Then there come here sounding lost and helpless asking for people to become accomplices.
This is why they keep nigerians for 5 hours at poe and rebaptise their middle name to dishonesty.
