nigeria planted in the past and it is time for harvest...the long marginALISATION of the niger delta is what is yielding presently...resource control is the way forward for nigeria if we ever want to stop seeing groups like the avengers etc...i once warned this present admin not to take the pipeline protection job from community stakeholders but they refused...sometimes i wonder about the fools who advise president buhari on the issues with the niger delta...efcc came on board and started a tompolo chase without even thinking of the outcome...why not wait for sometime before probing tompolo..or why not probe everybody at once(including ameachi) so that we can all move on and be happy..this is the result of this administrations mistakes...

My point is this, in the long run, blowing pipelines is silly because it will affect the local more.

You bomb and remain in darkness and your people remain in abject poverty. Thank you brother, some fox just come online and write about things they know nothing about. The damage done now, in some months they will start calling on FG to come fix it up.

It's in our (SE/SS) best interest. You can't take what belong to the 5%ers and give to the 95%ers, that is called Injustice and foul play. Buhari should enjoy his govt with the money gotten from cow milk...

Nonsense. NDA, I dey your side!
This ipob delusion of always forcefully attaching SE to SS keeps getting ridiculously amazing by the day. i don't know the village forest some of these ipob people come from.

Point of correction, it is the SS that feeds the nation presently, not the SE. The SE is presently a parasite to SS resources just like every other zone of the country.

If the government send full military personnel, like they did to the north i doubt if these people generation will survive. Continue to blow up and peace will never seize to exist in that area and at the end they might not be alive to tell the story.

Those who fought the civil war till date have nightmare.

I never for once said it was impossible, Nigeria has no security apparatus. But that doesn't mean it is foolishness; even more foolish are the ordinary Nigerians glorifying acts of sabotage because they foolishly think they are 'doing' Buhari.

while i agree to your point, it seems blowing up these lines is the only potent way to get to our deaf leaders... sad sad sad....nigeria is so much complicated...i knew this niger delta wahala was gonna surface again...and here it is...we will all suffer for it together since we all depend on the oil...resource control would end all this..

His advisors and supporters have now successfully pushed him to limbo by making him to first appear as an unyielding General.

Let's see if he adopts his supporters advice of dropping barrel bombs across all the Niger Delta.

Unfortunately in his great book: Art of war, Sun Tzu said the greatest General is the one who achieved victory without shooting a bullet. According to him diplomacy where possible should be the first recourse in war. Those pushing our retired General President to go out all warring forgot to remind him of that piece of advice.

Yes,this is an act of criminality but was avoidable. Buhari caused it all and I wonder if he has advisers at all. Any reasonable human being should have seen this coming.

Don't wonder far. Unlike your brothers the Bokites, they want development in their area, they want some of the monies gotten from their soil spent in their area too. They want their children to be employed in the numerous companies that comes to sap their oil. They want to be heard when they talk. The heads of all the oil companies in Nigeria are either Northerners or Westerners. They don't want lopsided employments again such that interview for jobs in Delta State will be taken to Abuja and Senators and Reps will be dictating who gets the job. Their lands are terrible and untenable because of oil spillage. They are predominantly fishermen and farmers, they need their daily livelihoods. I don't support what they are doing but obviously if you want to get results in Nigeria, that's the way to go. If only they could target the legislooters, I'd swear allegiance with them. All oil blocks in the region are owned by Northerners. Abuja was built with money from this deplorable region. Nobody cares. They treat the region like whores. Just Bleep and go. Yes they truly have reasons to get agitated, but...

I believe they are also sponsored to cripple this administration. But come to think of it, the Niger Delta people will lose most! I am almost certain they have been given billions by their sponsors while they tell the ordinary Niger deltan they are fighting for them.

Look at Boko Haram. If indeed it was meant to destabilize GEJ govt, who suffers from the destruction the most? Whose children won't have schools to go for many years? Who won't have man power for industries because people have relocated from NE? Who will live in IDP camps in their own state? Of course the Northeast people!

Now to the militants blowing up pipelines, your people will suffer it most. Nigeria has been through a lot and I think these attacks can never cripple the economy. It will make things tougher. Yes. But as a nation we will develop other means of revenue while we try to secure oil installations.

I hope Edwin Clarke will rally the elders of ND and talk sense to these boys heads.

Finally, I say in Patience's voice, 'Continue!'

Lol. So what is left for you by blowing up pipelines? You think we up North gives a fvck? Even in fuel scarcity fuel is still more available and cheaper in the North. Except for Abuja. Let's see who would be in darkness and scarcity. Let's not even talk about the environmental pollution, you already know that. And oh don't forget who will pay the debts when Nigeria start borrowing, Even if it takes 10 years.
