Ok, I will call Fashola to create an office for me cheesy
It's a dry land there, damp has not been a problem in all the houses we inspected in this location.

With 10 blocks, that means your looking at door heights of around 2.35m against the regular 2.1m.
That might pose a problem during door installation depending on the type of doors to be used.
I'll suggest dropping the lintel height around the door areas (i.e the carpenter should drop the bottom below the block level)

Our double mats for stand alone columns..........

Why are you double matting? What load will be carried by this pillar? And where is this particular pillar on the floor plan?

This might pose a small problem. I have spoken to the architect and he confirmed it's his design. I also consulted the owner of this house on this.

However, I have seen some doors as high as 2.4 meters in Nigeria before.

Yeah I've seen metal doors of 2.4m, but if your client intends to use imported wood doors,
That's when the small problem will surface.

The alternative will be to make the doors locally and that's when I come in.

Is the 3rd door in your post a pocket door? I'm looking to have some custom made in the near future.

It's not a pocket door,
Note: to make a pocket door, you need twice the openable space, i.e to make a 0.9m pocket door, we need 1.8m space.
