Hmm. I told you. Take heart.

I hope LvG use the reserve team against B'moth and keep players fresh for FA cup final

If Woodhead does not serve LVG his sack letter next week irrespective of what happens in the FA CUP... then the club is going further down.

Zlatan moved from Juve to Inter to Barca and from Barca to AC Milan.

But in Italy because of the shared ownership of players and some other dynamics they usually have transfer of players from a top club to another top club

Hernanes moved from Inter to Juve
Andrea Bertolacci moved from Roma to AC Milan

People with ''high IQ'' don't make such silly errors. It's a simple transfer fact not some conjecture or opinion.
I don't need to discuss everything. For example in Italy when Juventus had the calciopoli scandal, a lot of players moved to other clubs even their rivals but it's a complication i won't necessarily discuss. When i discussed the difficulty about players moving to their rivals in the leagues, i didn't use a single league to explain my point. He moved against my assertion by giving examples in Italy, but not for every league i stated.
So why do i need to disprove every of his examples? I even stated earlier that there are exceptions but it's rare and there have been fewer in recent times but he just quoted a part of my post to argue with when the entire thing makes complete sense.

If you wanna take sides with him and get involved in the debate, that's fine but please don't tell me what to do if you don't understand the whole situation.

At least we make Europe and dont crash out of group stages

Van Persie - Arsenal Captain comes to mind

In your current team Jones, Smalling, Carrick,

Schneiderlin - One of Southamptons best player last season, Shaw,
Young - Aston Villas best player,
Rooney - Evertons best player,
Valencia - Wigans best player,
Mata - 2 time Chelsea player of the season

Are examples players who came from other EPL teams yet someone is telling us they dont buy their rivals best players

You are not serious!
Apart from Mata who was unwanted at Chelsea and sold off, were those teams any serious contenders like Dortmund?

Shaw, Martial, Rashford, Blind have all came in and looked exccellent!
Even the ageing Carrick, limited Smalling andMorgan (when played as a box-box CM), average Fellaini and Lingard have all looked solid in the same system.

Someone was using Italy as an example i gave him 10 examples to ac Milan alone and his defence was to pick one wrong instance

How did these people make it out of school if they ever did.

They gave you 10 instance where you were alleged to have stolen and your defence is one of those instances was wrong

Is there any further example of low IQ than this?

He's now claiming it's as a result of calcicopoli. Ask him to show out of those 9 examples which one moved as a result of calcicopoli

Let's see him display his low IQ once again

Seriously. You, GBR1, dadehmola have too much time on your hands. It's best to leave Ramudeen to his illogical illusions and unreasonable conjectures.

If you beat him to his words, he just dribbles away and emerges with another argument at another angle.

Rival (meaning): "a person or thing competing with another for the same objective or for superiority in the same field of activity."

If you wish United well you won't want LVG in-charge next season. Chelsea will have Conte, City will have Pep, Liverpool will have Klopp, Soton will have Koeman, Arsenal will have Wenger and you want us to stick to LVG that said fan's expectations are too high?

What the absence of few quality players can do to a team.
I keep saying that no manager would win the league with that awful squad of ours; just look at our best midfielder, an ageing Carrick and our Striker being an 18 year old who became first team player few months ago.
Granted Rashford has all it takes to become a great striker as long as he's provided with adequate creativity behind him but having no quality striker for many months before the emergence of Rashford is quite depressing to hear.

Ball ability? Check!
Reading of the game? Check!
Awareness? Check!
All he's done is to put his physical skills like Pace, aerial and strength to best use. His intelligence and ball skills are simply zero.

Whoscored with their plethora of information coupled with some good analyzes don't think so.

From my years of watching Smalling his Ball ability, reading of the game and awareness are not poor, they are average. It's very rare to find a CB that ticks all the boxes bro.

He's limited as a footballer.
Wht really annoys me apart from his average passing skills is his tendency to follow the ball and leave his partner open.
Even his interception of the ball na waya! The ball keeps bouncing off his feet until it is shepherd away or worse, found another opposition player.

Another thing is I think with better quality players than what we have presently under Van Gaal, he's cpble of doing better. He's a better tactician than Pep/Conte/Wenger (see our performance in the big games this season and his exploit at the W/c) and a better fluid ball playing manager than Mourinho.
I have seen many performance under him that has given me some hope. (City, Leicester, Everton, Westham F.A. Cup replay match, Mdtyjlland second leg etc) The thing is he has few quality in the team and one of them is an ageing Carrick who needs to be rested most times or Martial whose absence has great effect on the team or even Rashford who's just come into the team few months ago. The three players apart from Shaw who's been injured for many months now are our best outfield players apart from De Gea of course.
Get an adequate replacement for Carrick in the holding midfield role;
A pacy creative winger on the right wing;
A pacy creative no 10 to replace Rooney/Mata;
And maybe an upgrade on Schneiderlin/Fellaini in the box-box department (like Kante).
Get these players in and see if Lvg won't perform well.

Good technical players would always look excellent in LVg system.
Only the average and the brainless one fails.
I've watched majority of Schneiderlin Southampton clips on youtube and all it was about were his tackles, aggression, energy and the odd goals. His passing skills, dribbling and techniques in crowded space were quite average. What do you expect when he's playing in a team which often encounter opposition that allows limited space due to their high pressing and defensive tactic?
As a matter of fact, Schneiderlin has displayed his southmpton performance for us whenever he gets deployed as a box-box CM. Hence, you can't say anyone has ruined him.
There's also Di Maria, a brainless failed winger at Madrid converted into a makeshift box-box CM to gain some reputation and everyone thinks he's a worldclass already.
How bout Depay? Another Ryan Babel who was already playing shite for his national team even before we got him.
And Herrera, the spanish Cleverley who only knows how to make horizontal 5 yard passes.
If the players are good enough, nothing would stop them from showing how good they are. Do you think talented players playing for small clubs who park the ball all game would fail to show their quality? How do you think we got Roy Keane etc?

I've looked at the Bayern team under Van gaal and there's no players who looked shite under Van gaal that got better under a new manager.
Players like their GoalKeeper, contento, Dimechelis, Vanbuyten and Gomez who's bound to miss easy chances, especially in big games.
I mean no one improved. As a matter of fact, these players even looked decent despite their limited skills but looked much worse under a new manager.
Maybe, pa ramdeuter can shed more light on his Bayern team under Van gaal tutelage. How many of the yeye players improved?

I respect your opinion because its well though and very logical unlike the low IQ one's that littered this thread

Let me ask, Based on your logic how is Liverpool a rival, Some on this thread already said when you got RvP Arsenal wasnt a rival, So how is Liverpool a rival? Most of the rivalry between Man Utd and Liverpool are several years ago. Around the same time Mochengladbach was Bayerns rival

So let me ask Is Leicester a rival of Man Utd currently? or is Spurs?

I think you are getting it wrong by judging rivalries, or better still, Man United-Liverpool rivalry strictly from the inception of EPL in 1992 when United have been more prosperous. They are many criterion for determining rivalry between 2 sides. Have you forgotten that way back before Ferguson came, Liverpool were fruitful while United were fruitless? Just coz the scale of success tipped in each club's favour at different times doesn't stop or erode the deep-rooted rivalry between us. It's considered among the biggest football fixture in English football, ranked alongside El Clasico, Derby della Madoninina and Super Clasico as one of the most famous rivalries in the world. Liverpool-United rivalry has been in existence for over 120 years, waaaayyy before we were born, and it's not even football related matters that started it all. You are forgetting that what constitute a rivalry between 2 clubs is not usually the number of titles or success but usually the "history" between them. Here, read up to know that even Man Utd-Man City or Liverpool-Everton rivalry is NOTHING compared to that of United-Liverpool.

https://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/mar/09/manchester-united-liverpool-europe-sir-alex-ferguson

https://www.quora.com/What-is-the-rivalry-between-Manchester-United-F-C-and-Liverpool-F-C

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liverpool_F.C.Manchester_United_F.C._rivalry

This is a special kind of enemity and it'd take more than years of success to wipe out. BTW, it's not as if Loserfool are bottom table club. They always finish up in top 6-7 most of the time and have even missed out on the EPL title twice in recent seasons. Arsenal are our rival even when we were beating them under Ferguson and when we bought V. Persie. You may argue that the rivalry wasn't intense like during Viera-Keane era, but they were and are still our rivals regardless. Barcelona have destroyed Real Madrid more than Madrid have done to them since Pep era till now, does it mean Madrid aint their rivals? No!!

On your question about Leceister being our rival, my answer is no. One season of Leceister being a champion after fighting relegation won't change their reputation. For them to be considered our rivals, they'd have to replicate their success consistently. If they finish in 10th place next season, they won't even be Tottenham's rivals. So one season is not enough. I'd rather consider Spurs as rivals more than them and this is coz of Van Gaal's mediocrity. If Ferguson was still in-charge there's no way Spurs will finish ahead of us. Spurs were no match for us till Moyes and Gaal came along. For me, our main rivals are Assanal, Citeh, Shekpe and Loserfool.

One of the low IQ individuals even posted

This is an example of the poor football education I talk about

Zlatan - Juventus to AC Milan
Taribo West - Inter to AC Milan
Vieri - Inter to AC Milan
Nesta - Lazio to AC Milan
Stam - Lazio to AC Milan
Inzaghi Juventus to AC Milan
Seedorf - Inter to AC Milan
Baggio - Fiorentina to Inter to AC Milan
Cafu Roma to AC Milan
Rui Costa - Fiorentina to AC Milan

These are 10 examples of top footballers who left top Italian sides to AC Milan but these low IQ folks would want to punch above their weight and end up embarassing themselves

Na wa o. Serie A top sides sabi move between rival teams o. shocked shocked LOL. I didn't know it was even this bad. I think it's safe to conclude where this restriction of movement between the top sides is at its peak is in EPL. Even the likes of Tottenham would rather sell abroad than to a top 4 side. Back to the matter, I think the main issue with people/media against Bayern buying from Dortmund is that right now, Dortmund is the best or even the only main opposition that Bayern can face in Bundesliga. So if you compare the movement of those players you mentioned to AC Milan, you'd find out that they were still a strong competition between the likes of Milan, Inter, Roma and Juve even with these transfers coz it didn't weaken the top sides . As a matter of fact, AC Milan have had less number of league titles than Juventus since Baggio left Fiorentina in 1990 to join them. Juve (10). AC Milan (7). Inter (5). If not for taking away of Juve's 2 titles, it'd have been 12 for them. So the movement didn't reduce the competition and favor AC Milan that much compare the reduction of competition for Dortmund when compared to Bayern. But hey, Bayern no put gun for their head to sell, the players wanted a better pay and chance to win titles, and Bayern was there to snap them up. It hurts, but big clubs all do it. They have to live with it.
