I came to work late today (few mins after ) and missed my usual under big tree parking space.
From Kaduna Airport to State secretariat, i did not notice any sign of strike.
Business is as usual here in Kaduna.

As a youth, I will try to be neutral,and voice out my personal opinion about this fuel issue and strike, I have long lost hope in the government, and I don't trust NLC either, looking at their past records and motives, all they do is collect fat cheques and come and tell us they have reached an agreement with the government which ends up fattening their pockets to the detriment of the workers, so in my best opinion if you have a job, please go to work,it is better you are turned back than to loose your job than to add to the many unemployed on the streets, neither the government nor NLC cares about the masses this is just a case of Thief shouting ole!, the strike is on here in Benin

the buses just got tp Lagos during Ambode's administration, only God knows where they were kept all these years. The only sure-p stuff I saw during Gej's administration was the guys in black at ojota, and there was report that they were also scammed despite the fact that they were opportune to enroll because they were pdp members, only few actually got paid.

Yes and It is to God's glory. I do not take credit for these. I am pained by the increment because I pick my bills (you probably dont understand what that is. It means paying for the things you enjoy. You will get there cool). N145 is not paltry. My daughters school fee per term is 230k (Thats probably the sum of what you paid for your non-UME course) Judging by the way you are talking, you dont have responsibilities and probably have no plans. Am proud to be a "nigga". Very proud. My companies are not for sale because we are delivering value both for our staff and client. I am 35 years old. Thats my real age. How old are you and what have you achieved?

few people didn't enjoy the sure P. I was a beneficiary and I didn't need to meet anyone for it, I applied and got it. The thing is Gej meant well and had the masses at heart, his subsidy removal was to empower the masses, increase job and wealth creation. Unlike this administration, it's all about enriching specific people. That's why greedy APC governors supported the removal of this subsidy because it's gonna be more money for them..
I see.. You out of many millions that applied?

lolz, if you ask me, na who I go ask. truth be told, apc knew it's a serious issue, so they took it as they did for election campaign, they have been using all mechanisms in their possession to convince everyone on the need for the hike and confusing those that are not in support on the need not to strike.
75% of the citizens are not happy to be sincere, but most just believe if I can get the fuel at 145, it's better that 87 with no fuel, thus buying for like 200, they also no a strike action will drive up the price also and the price can never go back to 86.5 irrespective of the agitation.

You are just probably a single, mummy's boy who is being fed by parents. If you have been fueling your car at 4,200 for 50 liters, and all of a sudden you are doling out N7,250 for the same 50 liters, you will not say what you are saying. People should 'suffer now so their children will enjoy'. Does your government not have the wit to create other sources of wealth in a country that is so endowed? When I hear this 'suffer now enjoy later' non.sense I just sorry for the ignorance in people. Are the children and family of those increasing the price of fuel suffering along with you? Gibberish!

I really do not understand your argument. Whose fault is it that you have been fueling your car with N4200 and you are doing same with N7,200 now? Will Buhari suck petrol from the Atlantic ocean to fill your car?

Here are the realities on the ground;
Nigeria imports almost 100% of its estimated 40 million liters per day requirement of petrol. Even if the refineries are working to full capacity, they can only supply max. 40% of requirements. In its 16 year rule, PDP did not maintain the 4 refineries not to talk of building 1 refinery.

Jonathan was able to keep petrol prices relatively low (inspite of massive corruption), because he had huge resources (dollars), selling over 2.2 million barrels of crude for over $100 for over 4 years. Buhari on the other hand has been selling far less than 2 million barrels of crude for an average price of $35 for the past 1 year. So where do you want him to get the dollars to import 40 million of petrol per day and then sell at half the cost price?

Now, choose one; do you want to guy cheap petrol and queue for hours if not days at the petrol station or you want to drive into a petrol station and buy fuel within minutes but have to pay the appropriate price. Besides, outside lagos and abuja, you could never buy petrol at the approved government price of N86 naira. When i travelled to warri last year, immediately we left lagos, petrol was selling at N140/litre in all petrol stations. Why is labour always behaving like Nigeria starts and ends with lagos and abuja.
