Jesus Christ died for man to be redeemed back, Jehovah made man so he could fellowship with him, Adam enjoyed such relationship of creator and creature, then Adam fell for serpent but God now allowed his first creatures Jesus to come and show us the way to please God and worship him.

God is spirit and he created man in his own image before making them man and breathing on them. Man is made up of Spirit (God), soul and body. This spirit don't die because God cannot die. Jesus told us that his father is seeking for who will worship him in spirit, john 4:24, that the way Jesus showed us. Kingdom of God is formed on two parallel lines, its just like negetive and positive wire that helps to give light to bulbs, light(positive) don't touch the darkness (negetive) , but it helps the light shining (romans8:28), we are given options to choose where we wished to work from on this planet earth, Jesus was tempted too in the spirit, Jesus died so that when you mistakenly fall in darkness, his tripes will heal you and bring you back. Darkness are meant to persecute us(john17), but when the chips are down will you cross over to darkness? I found out that alot Christian don't know that is the spirit that worship God, it your soul that takes decision(hell or heave), the soul that sins must die. Jesus desire is for us not to fail God. The higher we go, the tempter strategies but know that many are the affliction of righteous but our lord we deliver them all. Who are you in the spirit ? Why did Jehovah created me?, what did the tempter used on my fore father? Which convenants will I make for my next generations?, Jesus did them all, be like Jesus. Stand for people in righteousness

I don't know why people like quoting bible instead of answering simple logical question
It's a question concerning Jesus Christ and so u need to make reference to the bible being the only book that talks about his life

i just wonder why people always dust their natural common sense whenever it comes to religion. a all powerful god that came from no where cant forgive you your sin until he kill himself, he cant help you until you always remember him in prayer. the one that has predestined everything that still need prayer despite the fact that he's unchangeable. just imagine you are told all these in school? BTW no Jew man died for me

"Unless you believe that I am He, you will die in your sins."

A lot of Jesus' theological teachings get pretty heady, so let's keep it super simple with illustrations...

Let's say Heaven is a room. Jesus would be the door to that room i.e the only access to the room.
The process of believing and accepting and confessing and all that, that's how you access that room, through Jesus.

Now what if you refuse to believe Him? That would be like me telling you plainly that this door will take you to heaven, and you say "No! I don't believe that door leads anywhere, I will not go through it."

What then? You are on the outside of the door, you will not come in. I don't believe God will leave you like this, but that's a different discussion. This would be a situation you have entirely put yourself into, for if Jesus offers us a gift[Salvation] and we throw it in His face, I certainly can't find any fault of Jesus' in that situation.
You mean all those wicked pastors and wicked witches and wizards wizards who believes in Jesus Christ as the way will enter heaven?

There are millions of tons of different types of soaps & detergent all over the world, but billions of people are dirty & stinking from dirt, why?

Till you personally apply the soap or detergent to clean yourself, body or cloth, it useless to the dirty fellow. Likewise the price of Christ's death is useless until it is personally applied.

Those who reject the only sin cleanser(sin detergent)of the bood of Jesus remain sinfully dirty & if they die so, go to hell.

Again Jesus went to hell because his father our creator has given him powers of all things he created. Jesus is God, he has right over all, he just want us to be like him so we could share everything, Jesus Christ sits on the right hand of God, my lord sit on the rights hand until I make your enemies your footstool. Right is righteousness, left is unrighteousness, remember the right hand of God is powers. God of host, is in charge of both kingdoms. I do tell people that spirit is where we worship God, any living soul must pass through spiritual world and be trained. Majority fall inside water, sky, etc in the spirit because they used the wisdom of their fore fathers. Jesus said test all spirits because human are meant to familiarize with angels he given man to guide them, it is quite unfortunate that those that worked with their angels are mostly those that fell in for water spirit in the realm . Christianity is the strongest camp in the realm but it has a way to follow, if not you will be trapped in a strange place. Let there be light in your dreams, visions. That will guide us in Jesus name Amen

The answers you seek is clearly written in John 3:16 (KJV) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:17-18 (KJV) For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. This is just the simple truth. so don't ask why again. do you believe in His sacrifice? Remember, His Name is Jesus/Yeshua.
I hate it when a question is asked and people just quote the Bible without explanation. If you want to quote, quote and then explain. You have not said anything new that will enlighten the people looking for an answer.

MrDavidson:
Jesus Christ NEVER went to Hell as punishment for the sins of the world. He went there as a victory over the power of death.

And people don't go to Hell because they've to pay or atone for their sins - people go to Hell for blatantly refusing to turn from their sins. You only become a beneficiary of the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ after you accept it and turn from your sins. Unfortunately some people think that Christ having died for our sins gives them the go-ahead to continue sinning. Very wrong. Rather, it's what even empowers you to live above sins.

I don't know how a jewish man supposedly dying, pays for the sins I (a black man) could not have committed at the time.

Makes no sense whatsoever. huh

I can understand why u would think Jesus was a white jewish man(mis education from the whites and the school system)
You might want to research the histroy of the isrealites and who the real jews are and it would intrest u to know that the originals are (black men)the people u think are jews today are descendants of Rome(Romans)and the original jews are scartered across the face of the earth for not keeping the convenant they made with YAHWE through mosses(Ten commandments)

God is then, in essence, being paid for our sins twice. With that said, was Jesus' sacrifice not worthy enough? If that is the case, why should we care that he died for our sins if his sacrifice means nothing at all?

Jesus A.S. never died, how can a messenger of God goto hell. It doesn't make sense for God that is the most merciful to let his son goto hell over something he did not commit why wouldn't he just look for a simpler way out for his only son. If Jesus actually died on the cross and was willing to do so according to paul why did he say that why has God forsaken him. Does it make sesnse for God the almighty, the all seer the best judge to punish A very good person because of bad people? I can agree with you that Nigeria's economic crash is a sign of end times but it is also a test from God Almighty to test the faith of Nigerians. May God Almighty grant us the faith to pass this test.

Jesus died and paid the price for every sin even the ones yet to be committed.
As I understand it, Jesus died for our sins didn't imply he died to keep us from sinning. He died for the forgiveness of our sins past, present, and future. As John said, if we claim we have no sin we lie and deceive ourselves (see 1 John 1:cool. In other words, we still sin but are forgiven. Although we must strive by way of the Holy Spirit that dwells within us not to sin.

So even after receiving him and you go on sinning and unfortunately you die without asking for forgiveness, I guess we all know the aftermath.
The purpose of repentance is to turn a new leaf and take a new path towards righteousness. A robber is considered to have repented when he desists from robbing and turns his actions into good.

For me, repentance is an action directed towards righteousness and by taking up steps to righteousness, you distance yourself from your prior misdeeds and wickedness.

The role of Jesus' death is absurd because in no way is it beneficial aside from conjuring up a commercial tale on how blood equates to money and used to pay for metaphysical goods. Which means a Being other than God himself is being appeased.

The only manner Jesus's death would make sense is a martyrdom for the sake of righteousness. That he gave his life for goodness despite the temptation to enjoy the kingdom of man.

Jesus death is like someone paying off your debts . If you incur more debts then you pay yourself..but you can still get the debt wiped off once you go to him and beg him to write it off

The death of Christ is of spiritual significance . No matter how you have shown penitence for one's wrong actions , it won't matter as far as Christ is not involved . That's why you ask for Jesus' blood to wash away your sins .

Christ brought salvation through his death on the cross . Only the saved will make it into God's kingdom

Dying only for 3 days for ALL SINS PAST PRESENT AND FUTURE. Safe in the knowledge that he would rise. Sounds like a scam to me.
Even Isaac the son of Abraham did not have that knowledge that his proposed death would be brief or aborted.

Anyway Christianity cane to us about 200 years ago from Europe .Does that mean God forgot about black people for the million years we have been here>Not even one prophet? He sent all his prophets to the Middle East?

See the absurdity in your statement.

You are one of those who believe strongly in free will and readily condemn man for his freely willed sins yet you accept the impotence of man's free will in the face of salvation! How come!?

And how does blood change a prostitute or a robber or a slave trader?!

1. You do realise that you failed woefully in understanding the meaning of 'spiritual significance '

2. I can't believe kay17 does not understand the concept of freewill . Freewill is not concerned with the consequences of your actions but your ability to exercise the will or make use of the power of choice . Man have been given the carte blanche - the freedom do what he likes , that's the freewill .

Paul was given unto the Gentiles - non Jews

The Promise

Isaiah 49:6
And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.
The fulfillment
Acts 22:21

21 “Then the Lord said to me, ‘Go; I will send you far away to the Gentiles.’ ”

Now if man likes righteousness then he can be righteous isn't it?

And of what use is the physical blood of Jesus to a person who keeps asking for the blood but yet robs and kills innocent people?!
