Blimey! grin

Pictures do tell a story. This is unfair and it reeks of internal colonisation. Like seriously, why're we as black people so wicked, insensitive, and very selfish? At the end of the day, it's not like the fixation on these people's oil has moved the country forward. It's still a cesspit that has stagnated in growth since oil was discovered and a breeding place for lazy folks who just want stipends from insufficient oil wealth. Mutual destruction due to wickedness, greed, insensitivity, and being fixated on other people's property doesn't create winners - it's a lose lose game.

I don't even need to see these pictures to know how messed up these people are - I've seen tons of documentaries on YouTube about their plights that're heart-wrenching. Yet want Nigeria depends on come from them.

I don't know about Avengers and other lousy militants - but I stand with the cheated ordinary people of Niger Delta who own the black gold. Like MLK said, "Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere." And Malcolm X also said, "You can't separate peace from freedom because no one can be at peace unless he has his freedom." You shall overcome.

Give these people their oil and whatever they do with it is their prerogative. Africa for Africans and Niger Delta oil should be for Niger Deltans. cool

Boko Haram started under Yar Adua, the killing of their leader, Yusuf was during Yar Adua.

The bombing of gas pipeline started during Gej time. That is why tompolo and the rest were given contracts to protect pipelines.

Exactly, dis is de mean reason wy dey are blowing up pipelines.
To secure a job in de region is de hardest deal ever whereas u hv a golden pen beside u to use and make money, thousands of graduates in de region are still insearch of job n migrating from dere oil rich region to places like lagos, abuja n de northern areas to secure job while u hv de merited chance at ur door step but hv bin deprived frm obtaining dat chance rather northerners n oda inferior pple wil takeover u so de ones dat cannot endure dat pain will now use violence to takover wot shld belong to him and DAT is wot going on so far until de six states DAT makes up NigerD are well infrastructured n developed like Lagos n abuja in order for creation of job opportunities to engage de youths in de region will put an end unto dis inheritance occurence if not in ten yrs time anoda group will be formed again. And by den it external bodies may involved inorder to respect justice.

You are very sentimental with these pictures you just posted.

1. That last picture is a place i know very well in portharcourt. They call the place slaughter. They kill animals at that place mr man. You need to go to the major slaughterhouse in Lagos just before Berger and see the state of that area. Why should we be so sentimental in doing things in this country.

2. There are places that are as beautiful as the two pictures you first posted in portharcourt and there are dungeons in Abuja as well.

They are blowing them up for the very reason PMB is provoked and same reason Atiku suddenly wakes up to suggest restructuring of the nation. Afenifere and Ndiibo should shut it.. I am ibo but damn hell. Niger Deltans have had it aight.. Our leaders and so called govt have practically forced decayed sh*ait down their throats.

They have nothing else to live for.. pMB would definitely slip on this one ..in attempt to shield the interest of the oil well owners. Cos to the glorified northerner, that's what Nigeria is all about and that's the true reason we are stuck in this sham and fraud of a failed sick and dying state called Nigeria and acting fedralism.

We are already suffering enough Oil or no oil..cos no oil well means some so called big men Will start feeling the heat. How did they get to own these oil well... I ask...?? And how come they are mostly northerners..

Look at PMB defending his national investment and asset while he silently encouraged fulanis to go on killing without prosecuting any of them.. When did asset become more valuable than life..

Rubbish..

So lets restructure Nigeria again.. Probably create new states like they did back in history what they got threatened and saw strength in unison.

Remember this generation is different.. And not smiling. Youths are very idle..and the devil is working hard... We all have our backs up on the wall..

The right questions are:

1) Why does the Nigerian Govt concentrate developmental projects only in its Capital?

2) Why are all the big corporations mandated to relocate their Corporate Headquarters to wherever our Capital is?

3) What stops the FG from personally developing the ND, the way it did Lagos and now Abuja?

It is only in Nigeria and maybe other African countries that the government locates every important parastatal in the capital. These things are consciously located at different states to create federal presence.

Imagine if all the oil companies have their head quarters in the Niger Delta? You think they will use and abandone the people and their environment?

Do not mind them. What is their state governors doing with all the allocations they've been getting since 1960. These people are just like the South Sudan. After South Sudan parted ways, Sudan itself is doing better than them. They better wake up before its to late and start holding their leaders and governors responsible.

Though I am very sure that it is the bastards that you see taking up arms as the true sons know that their leaders are their problems. The greedy politicians are using the bastard ones to destroy their community.

In fact, Buhari should relocate the headquarters of the Nigerian military to ND and further help destroy their lives the more while we are busy diversifying the econmy.

Nonsense lineage.

What benefits does the Niger Delta enjoy anyway? If you compare that to what oil gives Nigeria, you'll understand that its nothing.

The Niger Delta gets less than 20% of what Nigeria makes from oil and gas. It may be even less than 10 percent.

now compare it with other non oil producing states

They were not much marginalized in appointments & likes or regarded as 5% under GEJ.

Imagine some northern leaders along side pmb vowing to give them the Boko Haram treatment when only it is pipelines they are blowing up, and at the time they all are denying the ethnicity of the Fulani terrorists, who is maiming & taking lives.

So it's d govt that is bringing this on itself.

To me, one live is more significant to all the pipelines in Nigeria.

Mind you, what they are clamouring for now, is more of federalism. Let them have d larger stake over their resources. That's all. This northerners have 98% stake in their resources and are still calling for their death. Isn't that slavery and savagery?

Nigeria is ripe enough for federalism... The govt needs to act fast, smart and wise to tackle this root cause so that Nigeria can remain as ONE. enough of military bragadro over there, it will fail, Obasanjo tried it and failed but Yaradua nailed it.

Yaradua, my Hero.

The problem of the NDs isn't from the federal government. These people have reps and senators for God sake! there leaders are too. corrupt. The people have significance to them only during elections.
I served in Crossriver state and I noticed majority of their officials are self centered . Friends that served in other south south States also said the same thing.
Deal with your representatives first! If not for the Biafra struggle, Ibo land would have been more developed than that. The northerners are the one feeling the impact of boko haram most same way its your people that will feel most of the consequences of this havoc you're causing on your own soil.
I love all Nigerians the same way. No to tribalism and marginalization.

Nonsense. Lets be reasonable for once and put sentiments a side. Compare it with porthacourt, uyo, ekot, bonny and brass not with that. Besides, Lagos generally was not built with oil money. Lagos was built with investment (both locals and internationally), being former capital.Abuja, i may agree to some extent but I learnt that asari dokubo spent billion of dollars to build university in bennin republic and he has nationality of the country. That would have gone a long way in ND.

Ok sir. Can you honestly compare Abuja to port Harcourt or uyo

So why didnt they blow it during GEJ's regime?
They were simply observing a moratorium of peace due to GEJ and one part of the country took that peace for granted by not only promising to make he country ungovernable, but actually implementing the threat. Unfortunately for the rest of the country, the owners of the resources are no longer interested in amnesty, rather they want full control of their resources. Bubu is deploying the military option which ultimately will cause a near complete destruction of our oil and gas assets. When that has been done, then the issue of sitting down to discuss the basis for our union would be a belated request because their may not be any union to discuss about. This is why every right thinking person should advise Bubu to either implement the confab report, or set in motion a process for the immediate restructuring of the country along the lines of true federalism. The north has so far been opposed to any form of restructuring because they remain the biggest beneficiaries of this abnormal system. They should however know that throughout human history, those who are averse to change have always had change inevitably forced on them. The ND avengers and other self determination groups are bringing about that forceful change. This is why all men and women of goodwill should impress upon Bubu to arrest this drift by setting up the process for this urgently needed restructuring.
