The prices are not listed but as you already imagine the figures aren't prices you wanna announce on faceless forum like this. Easier said in dollars than nairas.

I'm always surprised when i see people back-filling to height above 3ft without embedding outlet drainage. I'm glad to see that you are doing it now. I'm sure you have being reading a lot on Foundation Engineering and learning one or two things. Even some foundation should include such pipe to help drain raising ground water under the foundation floor. I know our people at home are use to plastic bags for capillary. Piping will do a better job. Keep thinking out of the box and in a few years, you will do wonders.

Last Monday, a fence collapsed due to lateral pressure from the 1m high filled soil. We were called to rebuild the fence. Here we are at the moment with multi-flow pipes to drain off excess water.

I've been reading those books for years and all my foundation always have perimeter drainages. And water outlets with backflap near fences.

The best strategy to stop deal with table water is to stop it before it stops you!
