You can install corrugated galvanized deck sheets and pour concrete to make it flat rooftop deck.

However, I want to believe you can wait as I have a full section of this structure (K-024) having exactly what you're asking.

In my case, being an internal slab over the masters suite, I'm using marine boards which will be acting as backerboards for my tiles.

I believe it won't be a long wait. Fabrication already in progress.

Gutter Dimensions

We are using 3mm galvanized steel plate.

Gutter size: 125mm x 350mm x 2400mm

No of Gutters in a Sheet: 2

Cost of 3mm Galvanized Sheet: #18,000

Bending/Cutting: #4,000


So, for a 125mm deep by 350mm wide by 2.4m length gutter using 3mm galvanized sheet plates, we spent N11,000 on each gutter.

Sure, it's here with us. Its just that it won't work for this particular build. I could have opted for it but it's more lighter and fragile.

I don't think it'll support the span im working with here.

13.5m unsupported beam span is not a joke.

1. The building plan
2. Site informations such as the topography of the land (flat, slope, hilly site or valley), the location (Lagos mainland or island, South West or North East Nigeria) and soil test report if available (compulsory in waterlogged areas and terrains with high water table)

Toughened glass is upto five times as strong as ordinary glass which means that it has to be hit much harder in order to break, also when it does break it is into lots of small pieces which are much less dangerous.
