About the passport photograph , on my on appointment day, one of CGI staff that do the first screening insisted that I must go snap another pix that I must present a hard copy apart from the uploaded photo. Those guys outside collected 1k from me. on getting inside the main embassy , the lady doing d second screening told me I do not need any hard copy if I have uploaded one. At the end no hardcopy needed.

I filled my family ds160 form and I realised I made some mistakes on my own form, so I need to fill another form, I just want to know if am going to fill another form for my family too or just mine alone and will this affect our appointment date. If that mistake is only in your form I will advise you to fill another form and use the feedback option in your appointment page to inform the embassy of the changes and they will correct it within 24-48hrs if it does affect the other forms then you have to do the same I've stated above. it's simple to do.

Hello everybody good evening and you are doing a marvellous job trying to lead us to the right path on getting a visa. I have a little issue giving some fellas of mine troubled heart. I will so much appreciate it if you can give me a possible reason that led to their denial.
There is a conference coming up in a month's time in Chicago and I informed a few Friends of mine in Nigeria about it...they seemed interested in it considering the fact that it related to their line of businesses. they started their processing and got dates for interview (last week and this week) but to my greatest surprise just 3 was given visa out of about 25 people who opt in for the program. (they all had strong ties to the country and are all married and successful business men)
Someone who went for his interview today told me he was asked just 3 questions which were
1. Were was he going to
2. What was he going for
3. Has he ever traveled out of the country (which his answer was no)
My question is what could possibly go wrong? And were they suppose to apply for the interview together?
Please advice... Thanks

Oga why are u asking this question na? I'm sure u have been reading and u know about ties. Everybody answers for himself. The fact that Mr A got a visa does not mean Mr B will get. The fact that Mr B is married is not a guarantee that he'll get a visa.
From the transcript, you can see the vo was not impressed with the nil prior travel history

Like I mentioned earlier, they have strong ties because their businesses are all here in Nigeria and they are heavily invested. So I don't think the problem here is their ties (just thinking out loud) but now you talking about the vo not being impressed with their "No travel history"

I don't mean it that way but maybe it's the same agent that filled the form and everything is generic.. like where they asked you what you do and mind you the probability system on the computer is very smart..this is what they look out for.... 25 Glo staff were denied visa out of 30 when I got my visa that day... We can't say they are not well educated or do not have good enough ties.
