I have £1000 for the trip and have hotel reservation for £135 on WWW.booking.com.
My statement of account is having N1.3m.
Thank you

£135.00 is more the price for one night in London! shocked shocked
What hotel have you booked for that money?

You will be seen as spending most of your savings on one short holiday trip.
This looks wrong to VO. you will be rejected.

FrontPageLawyer:

Whether business or pleasure, it is important you submit your business documents as a company owner which includes registration certificate, tax clearance certificate, contract documents, award letters, receipts, invoices and what have you.
It will be almost impossible to get a visa without your company's Tax Clearance Certificate. The entry clearance officer can only evaluate and determine the financial strength and capacity of your company through its Tax clearance. The TCC is also the only document that confirms your company is legitimate and in compliance with government tax requirements.
If the FIRS no longer issue TCC no newly registered companies; you should be able to explain the situation concisely to the officer. The onus will be on you to arm yourself with overwhelming ties and prove to the ECO that your trip is genuine and you will return back to your home country at the end of your temporary stay as every application is judged fairly, rigorously, transparently, and on its merits.

Will the applicant be submitting

a. Only copies?
b. Original and Copies?
c. Originals only?

Thank you.

Thank you Naira country. I have been operating since 2008 but just registered the business last year April.

I agree with you sir. However, his coy might as not yet qualified for TCC having not paid any coy nor edu tax, being that they r still running within their first year of corporate existence and still have 6months grace to compute it's P&L cum balance sheet before filling and pay for its first accounting year TAX.
However, this may be the owner's undoing. Why would a coy owner who is just less than a year in bizniz want to go for vacation? It's dicey, LET HIM GIVE IT A SHORT with genuine application and be sincere when the call may come in

The total reservation for 7days is £135 not per day.

No hoStel in London will offer you a bed space for £19/nite let alone an hotel via booking.com with additional charges by the middle man. Above all this is London peak period.
If you don't mind, post the link here so we verified for you or upload D reservation confirmation.
You docs look very OK if properly applied BUT with the above budget, you will likely get a rejection coz its not practicable.
Why not refer to my earlier questions so people can suggest a workable budget?

Thank you Naira country. I have been operating since 2008 but just registered the business last year April.

Your corporate existence started last year April and 1st accounting year ended March, 2016. You have up to September 2016 to file your tax return before it becomes an offence and you are applying in June, 2016. Therefore you commit no offense for not submitting any TAX receipt nor TCC.
However, the ECO would asked (probably rhetorically) why would he want to go on vacation when his company is still grasping the market? If luckily you were asked, you should get a good answer ready. Be smart with it, it may be the turning point once you get your budget perfected

Hello @FrontPageLawyer, @Justwise & Nairaland family;
You have been very helpful on this forum. May God Bless you all

I have some questions in filling the Uk online application form at (https://www.visa4uk.fco.gov.uk/) for my trip on a Business visa, in which my company is sponsoring me.

1)There is a place they ask if I have any family in UK?
My uncle's wife(who i can call my Aunt) is based in UK with her 2 kids. The husband is a Professor lecturing in Nigeria. He only visit his family on vacation.

Question i-Can I just state my Aunt as the family I have or I must also include her kids?

Question ii-Also my blood sister & her husband are based in UK. Should I just indicate my sister's name alone or I have to include her husband?

2)There is a part that also ask what is the cost to you personally of your trip in GBP?
Since am not paying, I will answer N/A as advised by @FrontPageLawyer
However the next question asks for the ....Total money you have for this Trip?
My company has budget a max of 8,000USD for my expenses which is more than enough looking at my expenses of about 3,000GBP.
I also have over 1m in my personal account. I have over 1m in a co-operative savings with my company welfare unit.
I have 800k naira in a Mutual Fund. I have stocks worth over 2m.
Please based on the above, how should i answer the question ...what is the total money you have for the trip?.... since am being sponsored but I still have my own money which am not spending for the trip?

3)There is another question that ask..Do you have other income and How much you receive monthly from this?
While I have investments in Land, stock & Mutual Fund, the only income I receive now is Dividend from stocks which doesnt come monthly and I cant predict the amount.
How do I answer this part since for example i can receive X naira from company A in April last year , Y naira from company B in June last year.
But this year company A pays lower that X naira based on performance while company B pays more than Y naira.
Though these credits are not so huge. They vary with amounts like 35,000 naira, 800naira, 20,000naira etc

Please Nairalanders family, @FrontPageLawyer, @Justwise help as I dont want to fill N/A when i know they will see that there are some credits into my bank statement apart from my monthly salary.

Please help

Seconded!!!. If you want your visa to fly, do the needful. Ajesara might be stronger than the other.... I remember Dbanj's song, Ori yato sori....

Good morning all. Please I am a self employed visa applicant but my company was registered last year. I have requested for nil tax clearance but due to the new directives from Firs, I was told they no longer issued nil tax clearance. The process involved in getting one can take up to 3weeks and my appointment is next week.

1. I have filled and submitted my application as self employed thinking I will be able to get my company tax clearance so that I can submit both my company and personal statement with a very good account operations. Please can I just submit my personal statement, payslip, bank reference, hotel reservation, letter of employment and reference letter from my company and explain with a letter that I am employed under my company as the Director of Operations? Or how best can I go about it?

2. Do I need to submit my company statement of account and certificate of registration since my company tax clearance is not yet ready?

Please my people help me oooooo.

1. How much is in ur company's account presently that you could afford to pay 300k monthly into ur account

2. Do you make payment of your salary via Cash deposit, check deposit or bank transfer?

Please answer those 2 questions asap.

Please help

1) Mention all family members especially your sister in the UK. It is part of the integrity test designed to assess applicants tendency to be honest, trustworthy, and dependable. Lack of integrity could cause you the visa which is also an immigration offence that could lead to a 10 years ban.

2) Cost to you personally of your trip? N/A. Your company is paying.

3) The total money available for this trip? You have to be realistic with your budget, $8,000.00 in my opinion is rather too much except it includes cost of training which I previously advised be paid before submission to guarantee your reservation for the training. To know the total money available for your trip (Add Hotel+Feeding+Local Transportation+Air plane ticket = ££££)

4) Except you wish to spend your own personally money which is not a crime, you can mention it, otherwise the answer remains N/A since your company is paying for the trip.

5). If you have the last dividend letter, attach it together with all previous once and input the amount in the last dividend letter accordingly; meanwhile you have a chance to explain all you have type here concisely to the ECO about your investment, dividend e.t.c.

In my opinion, you're qualified for the visa with all you have mentioned here. You have many of the documents that qualifies for ties. Having said that, there is no guarantee about visas, but the better prepared you are, the better your chance will be to have a visa.

Lastly, please ensure you submit your own personal bank statement (salary account) whether your company is paying or not.

So, I'm the lady the mum was refused and banned for 10 years under false misrepresentation last month
And I went out of my way to get documents from a UK lawyer stating she owns the business name.
An affidivat claiming she owns the business name
A letter from CAC stating the shes the true owner of business name
A letter from her bank stating she owns the company and they opened an account for business in her name

I'm so happy to tell everyone that she GOT her Visa today with a letter.
I dont know the contents of the letter but I told her to bring it along with her when she comes in next week.
Thanks everyone Justwise, Tunderule2016, askari01, nairacountry.

First Visa Timeline:

1st April: Submitted online
14th April: Appointment booked(She had so many commitments in Lagos and Ondo, she she thought 14th would be idle)
14th April: She went for her bio-metrics
14th April: Application sent to Sheffield Email
18th April: Application received in Sheffield Email
18th April: I got a call from Sheffield asking me about me and all. I answered all questions correctly
22nd April: Got an Email stating Application is not straightforward and they cannot conclude her application within the time frame given
29th April: She got a call from Sheffield asking to confirm if she works for the owner of the business or its her personal business. She said its her personal business and she has 6 staff who works under her. They asked her if they could verify her business name registration at CAC. She answered Yes since she's the Director of the company.
2nd May: Decision email came in from Sheffield and after a few hours Decision email from TLS arrived.
6th May : Picked up passport Refusal

Second Visa Timeline:
26th May: Submitted Application Online
27th May: She went for her bio-metrics
14th June: Decison mail from UK Visa Section Ikeja and Decision Mail from TLS
15th June: Pick up Email from TLS
16 June: Picked Passport with Visa Issued and a letter.

Thanks Again People.
I've missed my mum so so much. I'm like her twin grin grin grin grin grin grin

tunderule2016:
Stay positive....
They do make mistakes that i can certainly tell u ...
They will send an official to CAC if need be.... but if i have to be honest they will not because it is getting to a busy period for them... most times they compare documents, or check the websites and if need they call if they have to.... Only send officials if the application is complicated... I just hope one day nigeria will get to the point where documents can be verified online or numbers can be verified online; it will make the document geninue. I recently tried checking something on NAFDAC website and it failed to verify the product; so it is naija for u ...
anyways, God in is infinite mercy will grant your heart desires... stay positive and have faith...
