There will be no problem at the Point of Entry if you buy a one-way ticket. You're a student, and they know that you won't return home until you complete your studies in 18 - 24 months (You're free to come home if you want though...F-1 visa allows for multiple entry but your school has to be aware of your travels outside the US)

The proof of financial support provided by my sponsor's bank is a one-page Balance Certificate addressed to the consulate and showing the available alone. I'll like to know if this will be acceptable? How important is the evidence of cash flow? The bank in question isn't domiciled in Nigeria and it took a week and quite a lot of money to ship the document.

To the best of my knowledge, the cash flow is much more important than whatever balance you might seem to have in the account cos anybody can have any amount as balance.

Cash flow is very important and I hope is not a fixed deposit account

I don't think so cos most bank has not integrated the new policy into their system. You should get a mail once the card is open. Am patiently waiting for the mail too.

Some are not good with reading so much to get detailed information until school starts and they realize for brigade approach doesn't work. If your wife can convince the VO why she is visiting the US at this time, I see no reason why she can't join you or have you violated your visa?

You know 2 years does not mean you can visit and stay for 2 years or relocate with that visa. The maximum stay at a time is 6 months .... also since you already be given the b1/b2 she can replicate the process you used and u should be able to assist her since u gone through the process before

Really, its just like calling Mtn customer care. Listen to the options carefully and press the number for the option you want. Press the number for non immigrant visa when it's called and then press the number to request to speak to a representative. You need to have patience and plenty credit.
