No man. You won't chop ban. Just that i was a little bit perplexed by that.

You shouldn't recommend Valpo to lazy students. Even native speakers do take the GRE Test.
Got your point....

Hello House, I would like to hear your thought about Private Universities in the US. Does the US Embassy here in Nigeria recognises such universities, and approve visa for admitted students into the Graduate Program of such private university.
Thanks

All schools in the US are recognized by the VO at the US embassy..

They grant VISA to applicants who applied to private universities provide the applicants prove to them during their interview why such school, course etc

HELLO guys.
I have been refused 4 times based on financies, now I have a full scholarship with the same school. my SAT IS 1820. Any advice for my interview?

I will advice you to post the transcript from your denial so that people here and help you out by checking things out and advice you more on what to do..

Also it is two way ANOVA, it is either you go now with the full scholarship which can boost your chance and get the visa in your 5th interview or you go for interview after 6 months so that the VO who will interview you can consider the gap and ask you what has changed since your last interview.

The choice is yours.. Wishing you the best

Dear all,
I have been following this thread and I must say u guys are great! Weldone and congrats to those that got their visa approved.

Please i want to make some enquiries and i need all the help I can get in terms of advice, I just received my I 20 but despite the fact that I wrote to defer my admission and got confirmation mail from the admission officer that my admission has been deferred to January, the I 20 i just received carries August 22 as my resumption date.
Should I inform the graduate office immediately or should I proceed with my visa application and then leave Nigeria in January if approved?
If I decide to go ahead with the visa application based on the I 20 i have now, will I have problem at the POE when entering the US in January?.

I will appreciate your quick response and advice.

Since your have deferred till spring, I will suggest that you contact your school to send you an updated I-20 and by September ending or October you can apply for your visa interview and you can still leave Nigeria to US in January 2017

If I understood his question, now that he has a full tuition scholarship. He shouldn't have problem regarding finances as the value of the scholarship would be indicated on his i20.

Yes he shouldn't have problem regarding finances but there are some cases of those with full scholarship yet they were denied.

As for his case, He only posted the surface and not the deep because he might thought he was denied because of finances but who knows if he didnt perform well in other questions and that was why i asked him/her to post the 4 interview transcripts so that people can help him shed more light and advice him better

Recently, Mr Justwise has been using the word pussyfooting (nice vocab tho) everywhere. I guess he got that word pūssy from my moniker. OK for clarification, P in the word spelt stands for my third name and "ussy" is an abbreviation of my surname "Ussien". My name is Sandra. I got alot of PMs cos people think I'm a pūssy. angry cry cry

hmmmmmmm

Nah wah ooooo...

Remember that they pm you because the way you created your moniker
