I do not see how someone would think that a government would spend millions building a rocket just to deceive the general population. There is a limit to how far you can teleport. You cant just teleport 65 million lights years away. Its nt a distance that is small. Teleportation involves disintegrating yourself in one place. And immediately making a copy in another place. Even if u can teleport that far. U would be faster than light. Aka timetravel.
