I have lodged complaints via this contact form three times in the last 5 days...they replied once ( on monday) that "they do not have access to my data at the general customer service". And failed to direct me to people that can actually do the checking.

I may have to top up some more...I have got to get that alert.

I don't have issues wt mine. I got an earlier date dats all. I hope ur email is not just a reply. But the complete email like the one u got from the online booking. Not everyone got same date as online booking and that's not a problem

Good evening,
i got a mail from DB BANK that blocked account cannot be opened for me simply because am above 30 years. i contacted German embassy and i got a feedback that i should other options or open the account in any other bank.all my effort to open the blocked account in any other bank has proved abortive.
i did my interview 2nd of june, all my original credentials are still with them..
i have series of mail trail as regards this which the embassy kept replying that i should make use of the various means of prove of financial stay..meanwhile the only bank that intend to open an account for me, embassy said its not acceptable.
I have admission in 3 universities for M.SC program
is there anyone with this experience? how were you able to resolve this?
please, i need suggestions, solutions.

yes I did, 16th as against 18th. A fresh appointment email with all the details like the own we got from the online booking email. I am just concerned if u didn't get a fresh email, like if u were just replied like, "your date is 10th August" without a full email with Subject - Appointment in Lagos. Even if it's the same date, and u go with the email u got from online booking, God forbid that Mr Paulinus now looks at it and says how come u got this email on so and so date. Coz the man dey like do I am very correct. Just my thought tho

please gurus in the house, your advice are really needed. I'm seriously confused and i don't really know what to do again. I had my blocked account opening on 4th of July and i booked for visa appointment that same day, but till date, i haven't received any mail from the embassy. i did the online booking and i got an appointment for 10th of august, but from what guys are saying, it seems the online appointment is not recognised at the embassy. please what are my options

Once the date you get by mail is same with the date you got by online booking, the mail you'll get from the embassy will jusst be a line telling you your appointment has been scheduled for that date. But if the date via email is different from the one you got online, you'll get the complete mail. The mail from email boking and that via online booking is basically the same.

Let me share my personal experience I got with regard to my student visa at the German Embassy.I got my bachelor in 2013, during my interview that took place on the 9 may 2016 ,I told the visa officer that sometimes after my bachelor I got involve into business, why I mentioned that was because I wanted to make him understand that I wasn’t just staying inthe house doing notting at least I kept myself busy.I didn’t give detailed explanation to the consular officer as to why I got involve into business.I did that for 6 months in 2015.....I didn't know that this information I'm giving could make the visa officer think otherwise!!!.After answering series of question from the visa officer I left the embassy confident that I would be given a student visa.
After 3 weeks I received an email from the embassy ,it was a refusal letter.The refusal was on the ground that the German Embassy doubts my intention of studying and my language certificate isn’t reliable (this is the attestation I obtained from the language centre I was enrolled ).I was very shock...I calmed down for 3 days. After which I start preparing to write a remonstration letter (even though people were discouraging me not to write because according to them the embassy will not reply to it ,instead they were advising me to go for german classes and take the ZIDAF exam befor reapplying,for me it didn't make any sense as the master course I'm admitted is taught entirely in English and german proficiency isn't a requirement for enrolment. In 2014 I did English classes to under take the international English language testing system (IELTS) in view to apply for my master course. I wanted to acquaint myself with german language before travelling to Germany, so I went for german classes as well and completed level one.I attached supporting documents to my remonstration letter and went to deposit it at the German embass.6 days later I received a call from the german embassy requesting me to come the following day .After,the call I started thinking on what to say why I got involve into buiness since the embassy thinks I want to use my student visa otherwise. The following day at 7 am I was already at the embassy, I got in and sat in the waiting room.my name was called and I got up and move to the box where heard my name.To my great surprise 3 visa officers where already waiting for me,all were female.let me call them lady1, lady2, lady3.I sat down my blood pressure started to increase.lady2 was beside lady1 with an A4 paper on it were series of questions and photocopies of my course content my heart rate started increasing because i wasnt prepared for an interview,I thought that they will instead discuss with me the reasons for my rejection and what i wrote on my letter of remonstration,lady3 had the remonstration letter and the supporting documents I summitted to the embassy earlier.lady1 asked the first question I answered then lady2 asked I answered then lady1 switch off the microphone and was conversing with her colleagues, after conversation she switched on her microphone and lady3 tick first question on her A4 paper. Same thing happened through out the interview.After bombarding me with series of question they went into my course content,the fact that I was afraid , my heart beating rate increasing and being interviewed by 3 consular officer intimidated me ,confusion started I wasn't coherent when explaining my course content because I wasn't at all prepare for that.Finally last question lady1 asked.....u had your bachelor in 2013 what where you doing that you decided to apply for master studies in 2016.I explained she then asked for evidence and I summitted. I was then ask to go into the waiting room and that they will call me back in 5 minutes,I went as requested and after 10 minutes I was called.I set to myself that these ladies won't change their decision there r still going to refuse me the visa and maintain my rejection.I sat lady1 started saying........ I would be very open to you (just that statement made my heart rate to increase) compared to other master student you were very weak in explaining your course content (I new it was finished with me), she then said however (Just this word "however" made my heart rate to drop) to us at the embassy we say yes to your application (all 3 ladies smile but I wasn't smiling with them at all) but the final say is from the competent authority in Germany and the procedure will take upto 2 months. If you are refused a visa(she spoiled everything again and you decide to reapply master your course content and certain technical aspect before applying....she continues to smile while saying good luck and I wish you the best,lady2 and lady3 were smiling also then lady2 told me....I wish you the best in your master thesis.I responded by saying thank you.while leaving the embassy I was kind of surprised that they didn't discus with me the reasons for my rejection and I too didn't mention that because they didn't ask,I was waiting for them to talk about it before I could say something .since this interview my days and nights have not been the same,I'm always refreshing about this interview and wondering if I will be granted this visa.

Please anybody that has come across such situation or anybody reading should please give me his or her opinion on this matter and if I stand a chance for my visa to be granted. Thank you

@Angela, pls when did u do the the transaction and which bank. Also the debit notification came after how many days of filling the form A? Nd documents used? Cus it seems Fidelity is wasting time. Wanna try other bank.

hello house, this message is to everyone who has either used online booking platform or planning to. I was at the consulate on monday to open my blocked account and i asked the woman about this online booking method. she didn't even allow me to explain, she just said in her usual impolite manner that i should use the method written behind the proof of opening a blocked account, and called on the next person waiting to be attended to.
so that means it is the usual way of attaching your admission letter, proof of funding, international passport and sending to student@lago.diplo.de
I also asked the yellow man (our wicked friend) outside about it, he said that has never been the accepted method, we must use the normal email method. he said those emails we got by booking online are possibly generated automatically from the system, when one use that method..
i was trying to find out if i need to first cancel that date i already got, he didn't even bother to answer me
