OBAGADAFFI:
Men and brethren in the house.
Is it possible for a stock to loss or gain 11% a day.
I noticed Redstar express loss 11%
The stock was marked down for 0.35 dividend today. Previouse close 4.80 - 0.35 = 4.45 which was the reference/opening price for today, and after losing 4.94% today it closed at 4.23. So from 4.80 to 4.23 is about 11.87%.

This is really good for UBN.

At current price, the BUY rating on it cannot be over-emphasized!

You can try this method.
New price divide old price, minus 1, times 100
I.e
{(new price/old price)-1}*100

I will illustrate with 2 examples:

1) If a price moves from N2 - N3
= 3 divide 2, minus 1, times 100
This will give you 50% increase
I.e
= {(3/2)-(1)}*100
= 50

2) If a price drops from N4.8 - N4.23
= 4.23 divide 4.8, minus 1, times 100
This will give you -11.875% decrease
I.e
= {( 4.23 / 4.8 )-1}*100
= -11.875

Seplat has reported a 63 million USD loss for H1 2016. Convert this to naira at today's exchange rate 330 NGN/USD that gives us about 21 billion naira monumental loss!!!! The decline is even much steeper q/q (As expected anyway)

I hope nobody is trapped there because SEPLAT is going to keep digging until Forcados line returns to service ... Which I don't think is anytime soon. Enjoy the unhindered southward ride! grin

SEPLAT is expected to nosedive to #150 or even lesser but NSE is a joker... If it ever get there @#150/below then it's going to be a goldmine... PATIENCE is THE KEY!
