I would want my wife to rescue me first so i guess i would have to also rescue my wife and Children before my mom.
Its my dad's duty to rescue my mom.
I would also try to rescue my mom no matter how difficult it gets but my wife and children comes first.

i read the story somewhere else , they said he left his wife and children, no way i would leave my children and go rescue my mum 1st, don't get me wrong but the children are still very young and can do little to defend themselves, secondly , why can't the wife save herself what a man can do a woman can do better lol.

Very reasonable.. It simply means that he must have thought and probably realized his mum had less chances of survival. It's a difficult choice to make but in all, he didn't make a bad decision. Even if he had gone for his wife instead, it's still not a bad decision.

Tough choice. I don't envy you him. If the woman was old and helpless and the wife could handle things on her own, then maybe it made sense he went for the mother.

But what about the kids. Are they little? Don't tell me he left little kids to fend for themselves.

It depends on my relationship with my wife and Mother, that will determine my actions
