It depends on where you're entering through. Some airports will ask you to soak it in water or alcohol.

Thanks for the heads-up.

Contact you school, they would give you the best advice.
I did mine here in Nigeria
MMR varicella and skin TB test, filled the health form and sent them a scanned copy only after they told me what to do.
You might wanna explore this option

Hey boss..is d African store online

Naah, its a walk in store. I usually call to check if the rate makes sense before I go there, the thing Is that the higher the amount the more the transaction fee. I knew something was up with worldremit cause the last time I sent money thru them it took them 24 hrs to post the money which was unusual.

Dont over blow an issue or put a spotlight on yourself.......... People get denied for b1b2 everyday . Its not new, so just moved on from it quietly . The key word is quietly . You were not spotted for fake document or banned. I think You are overthinking this thing . You were denied probably due to lack of home ties, leave that reason like that and if asked , thats the reason or state the exact reason on the 214b. this long story is left for your ears and the agent ................. .Fill your new application honestly and focus on that . Do not create unnecessary attention . this is not needed ooo defamed or misappropriated informations . you were suppose to take ownership for DS160 information so blaming the agent is just one words against the other........ Focus on the future , how u can best sell yourself in the interview , prepare well and commit it to God or who you serve .

your travel history plays no or little part in the future. Yes some people who are frequent flyers get US visa easier however so many with no travel history get US visa (very many) . Just be honest , You say you never traveled or got visa and was too busy to go.

Okay thanks so much! But I can just think of something to say on why I didn't travel to Kenya when I got the visa.

In your first application, was there Ghana stamp on the passport?

Nope! I was done with school and back to Nigeria before I went for that interview, not been to Ghana since then

There is nothing wrong in getting a visa and then changing your mind and no crime against that ...... Even that attack in the mall in Nairobi is enough to change person mind . Anyway that one is not an issue, keep your answer simple and move to the next question . Dont dwell on things that are non issues as they might not even ask but if they ask then u are ready based on what you decide but keep it short .............. your focus should be powerful response on what that degree will do for you and how it will relate to Nigeria (hence home ties ) .

also find time to go collect your certificate , you work hard for the degree so its yours to keep. why wont you go collect the evidence of completion . u never know when it would come in handy

Scores can be sent to 4 schools for free if u include it at the time of Gre registration. That does not mean u have to apply to 4 schools. ....understand the difference now ??.

However its good practice to apply to more than one school incase SNHU does not give u admission so u not putting all ur eggs in one basket. Also in interview time u appear more credible if u have applied to more than one schools as well

Please how much did you spend on each dose of vaccines at LUTH? Thanks.

Meningitis was 6500 single dose.
The we're taken in stages, monthly.
Both the hbv and mmr were about 14k.
Started taking it last year as I was told it's not s single dose.
They signed my school form for 1k.

Some of these vaccines were taken as babies/ children .... trust you are checking your records first to ensure u not taking it twice or repeating it when there is no need

You should contact your school to ask if your health insurance will cover the cost of getting the vaccination at the school health centre. You can save the money if they'll allow that. This submission is based on my personal experience.

My people, pls i have an issue i need clarification on.My passport expires 2017 May and I already have my visa in it. Is it possible to renew it before travelling? I am looking at the cost of going to Atlanta /NYC when it expires. My concern is I will have a new passport number, hope it won't affect the old one I have my visa stamped.

Those passport guys travel around the country. You'll just need to call them and find out when they're coming to Dallas

IMPORTANT NOTICE!!!

This is for those still going for interviews. I have decided to use my spare time to give you some tips. Please note that these tips are random, you must have read most of them elsewhere and/or they'll probably mean nothing to you. I'll just give them regardless. Pay attention and ask me questions if you don't understand; you can also criticize.

1. I noticed many people leaning towards the VOs during their interviews. Like they want to get super close to them to be properly seen/heard. They didn't stop there, they were making many gestures with their hands, speaking with shaky voices and toooooooo freakkiinnnggg robotic in their speech. Before you read tip number two, visit google and type: How to look confident for an interview. Concentrate on what you find on body language and try to master the art. You know what they say about first impression? It goes a long way. Stand confidently, keep your hands where they're supposed to be, and look at the VO as much as you can. Let them know you're unfazed by their appearance/presence.

2. How to speak. Darn, the VOs are humans!!! They're just American citizens doing their jobs. They are not celebs/politicians/horrible bosses that should terrify you. Before the interview starts, prepare yourself in such a way that you feel like you're going there to GIST with the interviewer. Don't think like you're going there to answer questions and supply all the right answers and PASS like it's some test/exam. Be relaxed. You're simply going there to gist them about your plans, when you get there. Speak in the most relaxed way possible. Like you're gisting with your friend. KEEP IT SIMPLE! Don't explain unless they ask you to. keep your answers brief and straight to the point, speaking confidently all the way.

3. Hope for the worst. Imagine yourself getting "the most wicked VO whose hobby is to make applicants sad and depressed by denying them visas. Think up all the reasons in the world for this VO to deny your visa and plan on how to prove to him that you actually deserve the visa. Think up the worst questions possible and prepare for it. Once you prepare for the worst and you're confident that you can handle the worst case scenario, trust me... you'll be good.

4. Don't put yourself under too much pressure. In addition to (3) above, have a plan in case you get a denial. Don't brag to your friends that you're going for an interview thereby putting yourself under pressure to succeed so as not to embarrass yourself. Think about what you're going to do in case you get a denial. What are you going to tell people? what are you going to do afterwards? Have this mindset: See a denial as getting the biggest tip ever! to know all you need to correct to get the visa the next time. Have a positive mindset, and just be happy.

5. I can offer mock interviews via bbm. Before we begin, you'll tell me the level of difficulty you want. If you want me to go very strict and ask you very very tough questions, I'll do it. Trust me, I'm a very very good critic lol. If you no get mind, no make me go hard on you o. So I don't rob you of your confidence. I'm not a VO and I can only ask random and probing questions. you'll feel confident after my mock interview and we're going to discuss how you can improve.

6. Finally, Don't leave everything to God. Don't go there underprepared and think God is going to take control. HE WON'T!!! Go there and be prepared, be in charge. it's only a 5 minute interview. Go there to gist with the VO and let him know your plans to go to the U.S and come back home.

I hope this helps someone. Good morning.

PS: I type too fast, I write a lot in so short a time. I apologize to those who hate long scripts. Forgive the grammatical errors, I'm not gonna read this again before posting.

Thank you for this tips sureboy , it's useful, i like the word "gist" really motivated
